What are the best games for a Catholic gentleman?
>>
Trench crusade, warhammer 40k, mork borg.

I hope this is an image you found on reddit or something, really embarrassing performative set up.

I like the idea of the toilet paper roller for paper towels at a painting station though.

Warhammer 40k with your sister of battle wife. MtG with angels and humans decks.

None of them, time spend gaming is time you could be praying so you don't get tortured forever for that time you thought about sex.

GW side games(TOW, Necromunda, MESBG, 30K et al). I know 40K's setting and aesthetics are appealing but it's competitive slop that will drain your wallet and stress you out.

Call of Cthulhu. Like Chaos in the Warhammer universe, the mythos entities don't really give me the distinct bad vibe I get when a game or other media is based off of real life religions and demons.

World of Darkness(new and old). There's some Gnostic themes, sure, but the playerbase are pretty solid people and it's a nice middle ground between MCU-esque modern DnD and games trying way too hard to be dark and edgy.

The One Ring. Channels that Tolkien vibe by having mechanics for staving off depression and traveling during long quests.

Historical wargames. Inexpensive miniatures, a great springboard for historical research, older more mature players, what's not to like?

>Child rapist
>Gentelman
Pick one and only one.

Vampire: The Masquerade. It assumes all the Adam & Eve shit in the Bible was real and that people can burn dark criatures just by praying hard enough.

Battletech

>Good guys (Davions) are canonically catholic
>They're surrounded by two asian themed enemy countries to crusade against
>There's a militant order of mech pilots called the Knights Defensor
>One of their number has become pope recently because one of the asian countries executed the rest of the church leadership
>There's also godless clanners and blakists to crusade against
>Ignore that the New Avalon Catholic Church is technically a schismatic branch of the Roman Catholic Church

>toilet paper roller
Those are commonly designed and used for paper towels. Bit weird to focus on the toilet paper comparison.

What is this, a setup for atheists?
It needs at least... six more crucifixes!

I've never considered my religious beliefs relevant to what games I play. It's relevant when I GM because I'm disinclined to make the theme of a game immoral or disgusting, but I'm not exactly frightened of what other people have to say.
I believe that you can find the beauty in most things--you know, barring stuff that's purposefully obscene. It pays to be open-minded. God made the entire world, not just the parts you like and are comfortable with. You can play a game setting like Dark Sun where everything is shit, and the people are all evil, brutish, and violent, and it might seem like that's not a very "Catholic" game to play, but I'd also invite you to consider how people have lived in similar barbarity in real life. Men like Jonah have been called to go to Nineveh even though it's a shithole.

I think it's for the painting.
