His name is Jarl Svartvarg The Black Wolf after the black pelt he wears from the Black Wolf(the toughest wolf on Fenris)He used to be part of the Deathwatch and still wears the silver arm and shoulder because he could keep it as they were so impressed with him. Roboute Guilliman regularly visits him for advice because he's very wise. The historybooks don't mention him much because he's very humble but he was present in every major battle and the Imperium would surely be lost without him.(He made Abaddon retreat on Cadia but no one noticed, remind me to commission art of Abaddon cowering in fear in front of him.)

I want to star a quick to paint necron army. What works better for the basic color? Prime it with Leabelcher (or similar metallic from other firm) from the can, and wash it with Black shade like Nuln Oil? Or Spray in black, drybrush heavily with leadbelcher and wash with nuln?

The plastic winged autarch kit and the farseer both look fine around new aspects for example.With the refreshing complete the only manlet kit left is dire avengers, which do look very short and also have way thicker arms/hands etc than newer kits

Added some more colour to my TS test models from the last thread. Not as neat as I'd like, but they're test models. Like the light blue more than I thought I would, but still like the darker blue better. Going to go over the trim with druchi violet and need to find a better way to make the cloth part white. I bought a bunch of rubrics second hand so they're already assembled and can't prime and then paint them separately from the rest of the model.
