The issue for me is that the average fa/tg/uy is extremely thin skinned.Either you MUST do what they envisioned if they're the GM or you MUST let them do whatever the fuck they want if they're the player.It also gets bad when the GM basically acts like a janitor thinking they got any power, like we're not all just playing a social game together but rather they are the leader of the group.The worse though getting hung up on shit, like you say or do something that upsets them and they will seethe their entire life, literally just thinking about what you did until they can get back at you.It's just so unpleasant, I'm sorry but the majority of you retards are simply the absolute worst, I had way better luck picking players and games randomly online than focusing on this board.

My main game's also got a GM with a wife, two kids and a pretty busy job - probably not as busy as your GM, though - and out of the four players all are employed and one's also married and has children. I'm not married myself, for the record, but I am employed and have had a pretty busy year and a half at work. The current GM's view on successfully running a game with a lot of other things going on in life has been that spending those moments when your hands are busy but your brain doesn't have much to do thinking about the game and planning ahead.
