Generally the way you get murderhobos involved is by their shit being broken by an antagonist's machinations. It might not even be "your girlfriend is hot, I'm gonna mating press her," but just his goons breaking a bunch of shit they own on their way to kidnapping the local nunnery.

Dark Lord dismisses himself when the adventurers fail to stop him and he eventually gets laid. Then it's all fine for a while until orcs kill his wife and it's time for revenge (and recruit adventurers to help him)
