The main reason for the strict gender restrictions were to ensure the princess could trust her bodyguards to at all times, no matter where she was or what she was doing. At first it was composed of close allies to Denzieel but as the princess came of age and the royal lineage grew several female members of the royal guard were inducted as teachers for new squires raised specifically for the purpose of being inducted into the Order. >nowadays members of the Order take their oath to protect the royal lineage of the Kauhari throne and is seen as both an effective paladin order and as highly respected diplomats, ensuring peace and security to all reaches of the kingdom of Kauhari, and beyond should it be needed in the line fo duty.
