>>97286165The army is supposed to have 4 different plague houses, leprosy (the yellow and black flag), black death (pale white skin, pure jet black cloth), red death (with white cloth to show blood seeping through) and smallpox (with black armor and red cloth styled after a famous Hernan Cortes painting), but if they end up looking too disjointed and disparate as an army once it's all done I'll probably just do them all in the lepers scheme

I found thr trick for white backgrounds is cranking your whites up as much as possible by raising the exposure until it starts to look hazy, and then step it back until colours are clear. Messing with temperature and tint is best done in post imo. I use photoshop express a lot, and they've got a dehaze option that let's you crank the exposure up but knock out any haze you get in doing so. All I did you to your pic was crank exposure, knock your whites up a bit, took the temperature a little cooler, and then dehazed it

Man, AoS is fucking struggling in my area, the local spring 2025 league had 24 players, fall 2025 had 16 and it looks like spring 2026 will have under 10.Everything's been going downhill since the great squattening.

>>97286561The new RoR stuff in the ptg book is a nice start but I think that the removal of allies as well as the complicating of the list building has made aos less interesting to get into. A lot of the aos1ed chads had interest in grand alliance stuff, along with aos2eds "harbingers" for each grand alliance had people including unit from other factions in their armies. Spearhead is doing very well, but I think that's largely due to the ease of starting as well as the game being just plain good.
