>>97288545
I'm thinking of a drawback for a waifu if certain conditions are met she becomes temporarily barren or if already pregnant her body rejects her child very likely resulting in the death of the baby. You can also get this drawback and for you it just makes it impossible for you to impregnate someone. Is it too extreme?
>>97288593>pic CYOA for this feel?
>>97288468can someone post the cyoa where you're already dead and the only thing you can choose is your gravestone and how to spend your funeral budget
>>97288480>>97288527don't fall for the temptation anon! just play the angel cyoa if you must, making a build for the cyoa will show evil authors how desperate we are for OC and will give them more leeway to add more shitty drawbacks and mystery in their next cyoas, and this corruption will spread more and more affecting even good authors. This is what this cyoa is doing, it attracts you with the idea of being a cool paladin smiting demons and then spreads his vile corruption to the rest of cyoag; cyoag will become a desolate general full of pain and suffering where no fun is to be had.
>>97288615I got you
>>97288593>Is it too extreme?Yes? Rather, why would you worry about what happens if the waifu contracts the drawback while pregnant? Why does it have to be conditional? Just go with normal infertility instead of this miscarriage shit. If it can be removed make that a quest but don't insert this shit in the cyoa, it looks like it's your fetish because there is no other reason to think about that.
>>97288622
>>97288628
>>97288630
>>97288622kino, paladincyoa will never top this
>>97288593That seems like a reasonably harsh drawback to take under some circumstances. I would say go for it.
>>97288613(You) and Anglerfish meeting up for the usual marriage/fight to the death.
>>97288637>reasonably harshIt's needlessly violent and graphic. Normal infertility would have the same result without the shit.
Is The Last City in the same setting as Homunculus, Exiles, and Divine Pretender?https://imgchest.com/p/md7obdlmr4p
>>97288623>why would you worry about what happens if the waifu contracts the drawback while pregnant?Because it is not optional for her and opens an interesting conflict. She has power over death and darkness, and they come with secondary effects. She will likely want to have children with you, but it will be risky and possibly a path full of heartbreak if you are not careful.
>>97288662>Is The Last City in the same setting as Homunculus, Exiles, and Divine Pretender?I believe so? They all share the same vibes at least.
>>97288683

>>97288689
>>97288692>>97288691Settle down unc
>>97288693
>>97288665>Because it is not optional for herAutomatically shit. Also you are doing the same thing as the retards that say that rape isn an interesting backstory and that it makes the character deeper. It doesn't, like your drawback isn't interesting rape is shallow and a shit plot device. Just in case you got the idea for a raped waifu, because that's the level of shit the idea is on.Barren with a quest to lift it is the best you can do, and even that is just pointless tedium.
>>97288687Because it's a conflict between her desire to be a mother and her nature as a bringer of death. And simply making her barren is more boring than making having children be possible but somewhat of a challenge avoiding the trigger. If you don't care you can always become completely irreversibly infertile yourself.
>>97288593You would deny me my impregnation fetish, Anon? How am I supposed to build my nuclear family like this?!
>>97288700The drawback was clearly designed to be intentionally inflammatory, and it worked.
>>97288700Give up hus, we know it's your fetish but we don't want your shit here.
>>97288700That's not a conflict because it's not a problem that can actually be solved. It's merely a burden. No, dead babies are not more interesting than no babies, it's just miserable and edgy for its own sake.
>>97288698I would say there's quite a gulf between roleplaying as a rape survivor and a piece of writing featuring a rape survivor. Both are very likely to be painfully bad, but the former is much more troubling (speaks to social issues re: the player, who is injecting a horrific thing they likely don't have experience with into a setting full of other people, some of whom may have that experience) and of near-zero artistic merit, whereas the latter has a little more potential depending on the writer. Of course there may be exceptions. I don't really think anything should be off limits in CYOAs, although of course anyone can comment one way or the other. What anon suggested is likely to turn out as something really tasteless, but it could be done properly
>>97288725They are equally shit and anything that can be explored with them can be done 100 times better in other ways. There is no defending it and the only reason you could want it in is if it's your fetish.
>>97288733To me that is ridiculous. Would you say the same thing about various kinds of murder or torture?
>>97288700Anons hate symbolism if it inconveniences them. You always should write what appeals to you, if anons don't like it, they can make their own cyoas.>>97288712That's not true, I care and think it is interesting. Most authors shy away from controversial themes.
>>97288740>>97288742Both of you are retarded.
>>97288704You can build your family with her you just have to be more careful and mindful.>>97288716It quite literally is a conflict because there is a conflict between what she and likely you want and the limitations of her own body.Hell a similar conflict is present for characters like Gerald and Yennefer or Maegor the cruel from a song of ice and fire.
>>97288747How so?
>>97288748What are the conditions?
Hey! ASCII Face! Life treating you well? Did you have a good New Years?
>>97288756
>>97288759
>>97288766
>>97288740Yes. Murder, even of your companions, even of you, is a problem to /solve/. Torture too, for the same reason, can be a way of inserting a different fate comparable to death with different stakes, or a trial for the player to face if the toll isn't too high (like the start of Dune).A dead baby means "here's this precious, life defining, one of a kind, irreplaceable achievement, and oops they're gone before you could even protect them". It's the worst kind of rugpull on a *humble* wish that *many* anons retreat here to fulfill. And few anons know people that were murdered or tortured, it is much more likely that they had family who lost pregnancies or babies, such anons will find it a direct mockery of their real-life suffering for cheap laughs.
>>97288742>Anons hate symbolism if it inconveniences them.Nothing he said indicates any use of symbolism.
>>97288748Gerald is already 100% sterile at the start so he's never worrying about miscarriages and ASOIAF is intentionally edgy and gross.
>>97288771
>>97288772>here's this precious, life defining, one of a kind, irreplaceable achievementMake another one. Omniman would.
>>97288757It basically boils down to exertion, if she goes too far with her powers there is a likelyhood of triggering it.It's not guaranteed that it will trigger but it's like playing Russian roulette the longer she uses her power at a certain level the more likely it is to happen.
>Makes Skyrim even more uncivilized than fucking Argonia Oh yeah, that happened.
>>97288783Phew. Something that manageable shouldn't cause issues. If anything that's a reason for her to stay at home and be pampered by me.
>>97288793
>>97288761>>97288759It was alright; I got a half bottle of champagne and sat outside with that and a spliff in the fog, listening to the fireworks and seeing corners of them here and there over the houses. I wish you (and all anons here) abundance in the new year>>97288772The male brain cannot cope with "unsolvable" problems millions of women deal with daily. Obviously those things are all awful, but I think you're really stretching it to say that murder and torture are a potential story element to be handled but rape and miscarriage are not. I would posit that those problems are just more foreign to you and are related to your (or society's) perception of women as fundamentally ruined by either event. There's a major burden on you to prove the difference between those things and you have not done it adequately

>>97288783For what it's worth, I think that's the secret of nova reproduction in Emperor of Etherscape (NSFW cyoa by Troy X). Explains why mundane women can have nova kids (they don't have powers) and nova women can (they know how to buffer the impact). But the other kinds of supernaturals either don't realize there's a problem, or can't figure out how to fix it.
>>97288806

>>97288799>How was yours, buddy?I watched the last episode of Stranger Things s4 with Mom and my brothers, because she wanted the refresher. Then at midnight, she opened the door and screamed "Happy New Year!" for a good minute, because of some tradition I don't know.
>>97288803He's the guy that's always talking about femboys.
>>97288818That sounds like a grand old time. I'm glad you got to hang with the family!
>>97288776Sure but the conflict is similar Gerald and Yennefer want to have a child and can't this is a defining aspect of both characters. It's similar but not the same obviously it just shows that difficulty to have children is an interesting conflict to explore. As for Maegor, his story explores irl fertily problems that monarchs have faced and the conflict it brings.
>>97288799Snowed in, so I watched the ball drop on CNN. Been toying with the idea of going to see one of the big celebrations, but not when the roads hadn't been plowed yet.>and made/ate Hoppin' John with my mom, for good luck in 2026. How was yours, buddy? I wish you (and all anons here) abundance in the new yearThank you. Best wishes to you and your family, too.(Hoppin' John? Are those pancakes or frog legs?)
>>97288843https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoppin'_JohnIt's a traditional meal for New Year's. I grew cowpeas (black-eyed but also many other colors) last summer for the express purpose of including some on the holiday. It was satisfying to see them swimming among the store-bought ones as we boiled it all down. Can't imagine what the holiday season is like somewhere it snows. I've never lived anywhere like that!
>>97288858
>>97288799>I would posit that those problems are just more foreign to you and are related to your (or society's) perception of women as fundamentally ruined by either event.YES, MILLIONS OF WOMEN, DAILY, IN REAL LIFE, THE SAFE MODERN WORLD, ALONGSIDE THEIR MALE FAMILY WHO GO ON THESE WEBSITES.Let's frame it another way. If my son is explicitly liable to die of an unknown congenital defect, that's disempowering and insulting. Even if it's eight years after he left a woman. Even if he was born from a test tube. And /rape/? Leaving alone the blurry line between in-and-out-of-universe of all sexualization (the 'Netflix's Cuties Defense'), it is the least interesting crime to inflict on anyone, the only interesting outcome is an unwanted child, which I should note REMAINS CLOSE TO HOME IN THE MODERN AGE. Otherwise, it produces no interesting plot seeds as theft, murder, blasphemy, vandalism, even normal non-sexual humiliation, all do. Did you not get the memo from all bait threads about rape outside this general? It is the most boring atrocity to inflict on a person.
>>97288859>>97288866I'm not going to make an argument for the exciting nature of rape. The way you are describing these things implies you are viewing this as something about you, for one thing - the conversation is more about how it makes you (a third party) feel than about the actual nature of these events. It is patently obvious that there are many possible feelings or repercussions stemming from either thing
>>97288866>REMAINS CLOSE TO HOME IN THE MODERN AGE.I don't know if I'm right but this doesn't make sense theft, murder, blasphemy, vandalism, even normal non-sexual humiliation are all equally close to home in the modern age, try shitting on a Quran In front of muslims.>that's disempowering and insultingHe already said that it's basically entirely avoidable.

>>97289254The idea for the military page is you don't need to buy into level one for a branch. You get the branch at Level 0, but you get so much more for each level you purchase. Like an example for Servicemen, you get an elite force of Pilots that can act like special forces.

>>97289238Definitely a rogue's gallery of possible companions in Isekai Bounty Hunter. I'd trust maybe half of them to have my back - a couple should probably even be shot now. That way they don't waste time betraying me, and I don't have to waste time pretending to be surprised.(Save us both some trouble.)And even with the trustworthy ones, I think group discipline would be an issue. Private feuds, PTSD, fairy ADHD . . .and a couple of the targets could make better offers (like the Magitech Tinker to the Exploring Dwarf Runist). Depending on whom (you) go after, hiring (your) own mercs and adventurers might well be the right call.(If you're curious, I think the valkyrie, the revenant, the lamia, the dwarf, the dark elf, the stabber fairy, the exorcist, the cleansing priestess, and the relentless armor are the most viable and trustworthy. Nine out of twenty!)Kudos to MiCha on creating such a plausible yet disreputable group. It takes a lot of work to make the man-eating snake monster(girl) a better companion than most of the humans. :)If MiCha ever does decide to revisit the cyoa, I could see a harem prince being added to the list. Someone who needs a divine boon to remain in the running to be the heir, but got boxed out of the more conventional picks like Kingship or War. No levels to speak of, but he's got a decent bodyguard and some hope of political clout/sponsorship through his mother.

>>97288106Thats the second Monk-adin so far. >>97289515I dont see why it should be. Its not like the things you accomplish are undone if you fall either. But I suppose it would depend. If you used the miracle to remove a mountain (I dont know why you would, but its an example), the mountain would obviously stay gone. If you used the miracle to empower yourself in some way? That you might lose, or have affected (so if for example you became a magical being, something like an Angel or Archon or whatever and fell? You might not get shunted back to mortal human, but you might become a fallen Angel or Archon (which would still have consequences for you since those beings draw their powers from the Light). Because the miracle would probably be fulfilled in a way that is still tied to the light. I guess a way to look at it is consider "is there a reason it shouldn't stay around"? A Fallen Paladin loses their powers both in part as a punitive measure, and also (primarily) because giving great power to people who show failings of character is dangerous and bad. If your wish is "an action" and your wish wasnt bad back then, it wouldnt retroactively become bad or dangerous or questionable, just like your previous actions wouldnt irrespective of you falling. If your wish is of a more personal nature? Then it might be more problematic (or it might not, it depends on what you wished for).

I hate entroshitters so fucking much, with every fucking OC that gets released, they have to crawl out of their containment bins to shitpost about how Sons rape the setting or get raped by the setting or the setting doesn't work/gets nerfed in entropists' cosmology.

>>97289403cool image, but anyways, theres definitely more companions than that that are trustworthy, like the designated villainess shes not actually a villainess just chosen to be one by the saintess obssessed with tropes and shed be more than willing to help you if you help her keep the country from falling even if you dont take the saintess as a target but especially if you do, the supportive goblin princess especially as helping you hunt gives her goblin nation legitimacy also she seems the nice sort despite being a reincarnator, the stubborn crossbowman is like my ideal here hes just a dad trying to save his daughter from an asshole ignoramus and also uses like all the things i like, crossbows, scrolls, poisons, etc (i personally really want him as a mentor if i could manage it but i dont want to take the harem hero as a target both cause i think other targets are worse and also i think itd be wrong to take chadwick crossbowman's prey from him like that), and finally the determined paladin, both of you are serving gods trying to keep things from falling apart, litterally the only reason he would fuck with you is if you werent doing your one job or turned into an asshole reincarnator yourselfas for the lamia, as much as it pains me to say this about a snake madam as i really like them, it should be noted that unless you prepay a race swap she can always just eat you to get what she desires, so betrayal could happen there, or i guess you could ensure her loyalty by having her eat you and then just reviving but not everyones into vore so eh
>>97288480>Vows: Vows of the Holy, I will not meddle, I shall live in harmony>Companions: None>Path: The WatcherI ended with more of a rogue than pally, lol... I had to go light on vows to make that work, and skip companions to compensate, but I did get many ways to track down and gank evil.>Powers: Object Reading (Mind Reading), Holy Shroud, Pure Soul, Divine Health, Blinding Flash, Holy Bindings (Burning Bindings), Imbue Weapon, Radiant Surge (Surging Strike), Radiant Barrage, Glamour, Bless (Blessed Earth, Holy Water), Deathward, Immunity, Knightly Ownership, Light of Creation, Metamagic: Act, Lay on Hands (Sublime Heal), Holy Fire (Cleansing Flame, Pureflame)>Equipment: Crown of Stars, Map of Doors>Techniques: MirrorBlinding Light, Glamour and Radiant Surge (blink) are all good for quick and unfair fights, while Object Reading + Light of Creation should let me copy keys for any locks. Holy Shroud is excellent for stealth even with its caveats - especially if it permits delayed / indirect violence like traps, and I don't think casting Blessed Earth in the middle of enemy lair (great for ruining the day for those reliant on unholy powers) would conflict with it.Metamagic: Act gives like Deathward, Bless, and heals as contingencies and creating traps with Holy Bindings or Radiant Barrage. I also assume it works with sorcery from Crown of Stars, giving great deal of versatility.I also have skills to wield any weapons and copy techniques. Poor evil guys train all their lives to master techniques that I'll just copy at a glance.>Quests: The Great Consortium (From Darkness)>Side Quests: The Slayer>Choice: Travel TogetherSearch & rescue seems fit for my sneaky paladin, especially with mind reading. I got Immunity specifically to counter the poison-users, while Map of Doors should be good for snooping their lairs. One notable weakness for my build is dealing with immortals, so I need to leave that for more conventional paladins.
>>97290056Those are the necromancers from entropist right? I cant say I thought about them specifically very much.Paladins were given various (rather "bullshit", at times) powers that are supposed to act as counters (even hard-counters) to generic things that represent the "bullshit" of what I envisioned as their core enemies, and certainly the ones they were meant to be effective against (necromancers, wizards, liches, warlocks and demons, and dragons, I guess). Because paladins SHOULD be very effective in their niche, that's how niches work; it's also fitting with the fact that paladins have their powers contingent on good behaviour and have restrictions on how they can use them. Obviously, those sorts of powers should be pretty substantial and maybe more than individuals might get through other means. So you can negate scrying, or access pocket dimensions where a caster might hide, or have ways of permanently killing the sorts of undead/magical monsters that have a habit of showing back up even if you chop their head off. Or force dragons to land (and be within sword distance). The powers are a toolbox of things that are meant to be powerful against the generic archetypes that I wanted paladins to be fighting. Those powers might be very effective against necromancers from another cyoa, since they're made to be good against the generic things liches and other dark wizards might have. Magic resistance is magic resistance; having tools to bypass the protections of a phylactery is going to be useful on liches in most settings because most of them use phylacteries. I would imagine theyre also probably rather effective against generic wizards from various cyoa, on similar accounts. And dragons. And demons.

>>97290095Nice Watcher. Good to see people going for less martial oriented builds.>I also assume it works with sorcery from Crown of Stars, giving great deal of versatility. It would. Metamagic (all of them) work with any magical/supernatural abilities you might have. So if you were a mage you could metamagic(focus) on the radius of a fireball, or have megamagic(act) automatically activate mirror image or whatever. You could probably even have it work with magic items provided theyre nearby to be activated.I am however, curious on how you intend to deal with the slayer; he seems like something your build would rather avoid.

>>97288662i really like all of these cyoa's, its just, i dont know if theres all that much one can talk about for them besides the setting theyre in, and maybe like, whos homunculus or god is better than whos or smth but eh, i mean theres alot of cool shit in both last city and exiles, all the neat policies you can enact, all the events that can happen, all the different cool races to work with and integrate into your civ, imagining how your civ would look like if it were real, but like, other than that, theyre kinda both, solved, cyoa's, in a way, like theres pathways that get you so far forward its not even funny, like for last city, you just take as many features of the invaders as possible to get as many years before the invasion as possible and then rush the pop boosting techs before suddenly youre finding yourself with like, all the techs and policies researched by the time of the invasion and you just curbstomp the invasion, cause so far as i know your stats cant go into the negatives really and even if they could it wouldnt really matter with that many techs boosting them all up, so far as i could tell anywaysand for exiles, just go nothing but power for the first couple to few ages(sans the points going into other stats specifically just by picking specific policies) and then pick up the other stats in the last couple or so and suddenly youre running out of wonders to build, and you cant really do anything similar with any of the other stats cause of how the resource system worksagain i love these two cyoa's, the setting theyre in, the civs you build, the policies you decide on, the structure of your own society, etc, but like, again, there doesnt seem to be much room for anything but the most viable paths for these cyoa's, power for exiles, bought time and pop research for last city, so, yeahalthough, maybe this shouldnt be taken seriously as a critic, i mean, im not much of a critic anyways and am not the best at cyoa's in the first place

>>97290125>how you intend to deal with the slayerIt depends on specifics of what he can do (to heal, counter magic etc.), but assuming he can't outspeed Radiant Surge, I'd start with traps and then try to wear him down with hit & run attacks from range. If I can get him to stay still for long enough, metamagic could also be used to cast several Radiant Barrages delayed so that they hit him simultaneously.

>>97290169you say so but how am i supposed to when you dont give any examples of people who say these things, what am i supposed to go through the entire user list of reddit or smth, also fail to see how the statement "ignoring those inhumane peoples most people agree baby death is wrong, the only controversial bit is whether the woman should get to choose" or the bit about how there are people opposite to the crotch goblin people who think abortion is murder and women should have the baby no matter what
>>97290192>How am I supposed to find examples of these peopleSearch reddit for related anti natalism subreddits>also fail to see how the statement (...)This wasn't a question, and those statements weren't mentioned. You are involving random trivial details while making no attempt to connect them to the pointAnd the point is about observable reality, not whatever you are talking aboutPlease try and think at some point, thanks
>>97290135Going to head this off because its just so patently stupid.I am not talking about, nor particularly care about, how setting mechanics or cosmologies stack up against one another. I have little interest in powerscaling the Light Indomitable against 0^0 or whoever else. My statements were about the simple text of a cyoa, and how obviously an option that were to (for example) say "you are immune to swords, swords and the people who use them cant hurt you" would be powerful against a build from a cyoa about using swords. A magic spell of "immune to nonmagical weapons and attacks" would trivialize any setting without magic. This is not to say that those cyoa now have the same setting, or that the builds can actually fight, that's not how cyoa work, you dont have someone from Magocratic Convention show up to destroy Woadheim, but it does mean that if you ARE going to compare build for build for some reason those options have very clear interactions and consequences. This does not mean you should measure them up this way, there's often very little reason to do so precisely because cyoa have vastly different power levels, overarching concepts and setting/design philosophies/cosmologies. But if you WERE to do so then you will - obviously - get those kinds of interactions, it does not mean that those cyoa were MADE to do that, the "immune to nonmagical weapons" option in the hypothetical cyoa mentioned previously wasnt put there to counter whatever cyoa it was stacked up against in this comparison, it exists for its own reasons in its own cyoa. This isnt to say its impossible that someone might add some sort of "spite option" I guess, but itd have to be something that's very clearly otherwise out of place/has no reason to exist BUT to do that before im convinced anything is one. Like if you have an otherwise normal cyoa and suddely "zero points: you are immune to werewolves and can instantly kill any werewolf with your attacks"
>>97290039Thank you for the answer, makes sense to me.I've almost finished my build, but I was blocked on the companion section (also what do I take with the last 30 points). For now only Dawn is for sure, and even for her I'm not sure on the aspect.
>>97290039>>97290225 (me)Also another question, the wish is truly absolute or is it unable to do things that the light would have already done if possible (like erasing every unholy power, or giving everyone an easy path to happyness)?
>>97290208the point of my original comment was that yes authors should do controversial subjects at times if they want to, but baby death/ miscarraige is not a controversial topic, it is one that universally is hated except by people we dont count as human, if he wanted to do something about the topic of abortion and choosing whether or not to have a baby, that would be a controversial topic one could do and have good discussion over, not miscaraige, all that topic is going to do is piss people off, try and have better memory than the goldfish that is me pretty please

>>97290181>It depends on specifics of what he can do In terms of magic? Very little. The Slayer is basically THE "max level fighter", so he doesn't have very many magical abilities (although he does understand it decently well). He is however very, very tough and he is also resistant to magic on top of that (via his equipment). He isnt faster than radiant dash (not in a straight line certainly), but he is very fast (and strong) and has excellent reaction speed and an understanding of how to predict where an opponent might be going. He is also fairly crafty himself, so while he isnt very magical he might try and use traps or tools to deal with your speed advantage>metamagic could also be used to cast several Radiant Barrages delayed so that they hit him simultaneously.Absolutely. Although radiant barrage isnt really "made" for dealing with opponents like him. The swords are relatively powerful, but they do scale off of your potential, and theyre covering a large area with the attack. So while this large AOE and lots of projectiles would probably get through, or at least have a high chance to, the actual damage inflicted isnt likely to be very high since the slayer is one human sized target (large dude, but human sized). You have pure/cleansing flame so that is probably going to be doing most of the damage in your case. Sounds like you have a plan for beating him though, even if that plan sounds about as risky as "chipping an overleveled enemy down over an hour", just make sure to avoid any mistakes.

>>97290236The wish is functionally omnipotent within the confines of "what Dawn/The Light Indomitable would allow to happen", I suppose this gets into "the problem of evil" a little bit, maybe my fault for going with that sort of !God figure. There might be reasons the light isnt just outright erasing the cosmic forces of darkness, whether because there is some sort of equal Angra Mainyu to its Ahura Mazda and it CANT or because the darkness, in some way, also has its purpose (and we know that the Unholy beings can be redeemed, so maybe its even a desire for even them to be saved). Likewise, "making everyone happy" might conflict with free will or whatever. Im sure theres plenty of people in universe pondering those same questions. But yes, the wish is limited by what the light can do, as it is a miracle of the light. >>97290322I have, through good or bad (depending on how you look at it) luck, only posted it once myself. I keep missing when new threads are made. Its a bit of a shame because I forgot to post the music I wanted along with it when I first released it. But on the other hand, it is 14 pages and that's a lot so my thanks to the anons who reposted it. >>97290330Ashton? I am entirely certain - not even "fairly confident", I did the math on this - that you can make stronger martial paladins than him. That was the issue with making "pure paladin" companions, I didn't want them to be "better" than an equivalent build so they had to have some sort of gimmick instead (which is why Selariel has her evil sword)
>>97290313>resistant to magic on top of that (via his equipment)What happens if you try to steal... ahem, confiscate his equipment while using Holy Shroud? I don't think that counts as harming him since I'd be just taking away tools he uses to kill people. Certainly it'd be bit goofy though, like Skyrim style suddenly he's wondering why it's so drafty lol.>just make sure to avoid any mistakesYeah wouldn't try it without contingency heals and Deathward.
