I went to Pokemon with Caesar's Legion and started our journey by hunting all the little animals for sport (Vulpes likes his new headress) before enslaving any profligates we could find. I also fanwank that perks that alter shape like wacky hair color, extra limbs, cybernetics, or undead physiology work like templates that can be applied to altforms because otherwise those perks are annoyingly committal. Changing is painless and quick, but disorienting enough to not be combat viable without help. Injuries and physical traits persist across forms. So if the jumper has a scar across their right eye as a human they'll have one there as a dragon. Same as if a jumper is tall for a human then they'll be relatively tall as an alien.They're "true" forms for things that care about that too. Usually I keep non-jumpdoc induced shape changes, mutations and manually installed cybernetics as not alt-forms, but I assume it all just werks they way I want when using alt forms. Trying to pick apart the minutiae or um actually this stuff is boring so I'd prefer to keep it convenient and functional. Maybe that's too much but it's fun so whatever.
