>>97306552
You the guy with the 2060 from the last thread? If so, it's a miracle you can get anything to work at all. Normally, you want at least an 8gig graphics card as a minimum for local gens. Preferably 12 or 16 for most models. And definitely don't have a game open at the same time.
>>
>>97306556
Sorry, new to local generation. Didn't consider it.

Yeah, I am. I'm a cheap bastard and just built this PC, its the first time I ever did so and to save money I thought I'd keep this GPU. I've got 32 gigs of regular ram that I thought would help, but nay.

Well, I can't fault you for reusing the old GPU. One should always reuse at least one component when building a new PC, at least for a little while, so that the machine-spirit has a chance to migrate out of the old computer and into the new one.

But if upgraded hardware isn't an option at the moment, the various online AIs may be the best option for you.

Honestly I was so scared, this is my very first PC. That thing was originally in a Dell XPS 8700, my first PC, replacing my old GeForce 636. Still got it there in the closet. I'm not to deep into 40,000, I'm a Battletech guy and Comstar are very similar to the TechPriests. Even do prayers. I wrote one to Seymour Cray and taped it to the side of the comptuer to beg it to live, and so it has.

Although. Perhaps this GPU has run its course. Maybe its time to save for a new one.

As the battle ended and the beasts fled, the mercenaries collected their wounded and departed the battlefield, Lancel's banner still proudly displayed as their trophy. Their leader, a cursed Lycanthrope, appeared oblivious to his own grievous injuries—wounds that would have been fatal to any mere mortal. Perhaps it was the monstrous vigor of his transformation or the dark magic of his curse that sustained him, allowing him to leave the site unaided.
Silence descended upon the field, broken only by the presence of the dead. Among them lay a gravely injured knight, who, if still conscious, was likely on the verge of bidding farewell to the living world.

Andris, who had observed the entire grim scene from her hiding spot, cautiously approached the dying knight once she was certain it was safe. Despite being unable to remove his armor, she skillfully identified his most life-threatening wounds and, with her healing magic, stabilized Sir Lancel before attending to his other injuries. Though she had heard only the worst about him—his demanding nature and his spiteful attitude toward her people—she could not bring herself to abandon him to die. She could only hope he wouldn't make her regret saving his life.

If you're upgrading only for the purpose of doing local AI art, then VRAM is king when choosing the card to buy. The normal 8 gig version of the 3060 will not be enough, but I believe there was a 3060 with 12 gigs that was made right before the 40-series cards were released. If you can find one of those, it's probably the cheapest way to get enough VRAM to do what you're trying to do.

I finally figured out why I have no memory for the generations, besides using an old Graphics Card. When I host, it must be done in a browser, and it defaults to FireFox. If I use Chrome, memory is reduced sharply, giving me more VRAM to use.

>>
>>97313223
Not that I'm aware of. Back in the old days, you could run Stable Diffusion directly out of the command prompt with no UI at all, but that was before I got into AI.

But if you're using a webUI in Chrome and want to save every bit of VRAM possible, then go into your browser settings and disable "use graphics acceleration when available." That should shift all of Chrome's functions onto the CPU and RAM, and leave the graphics card alone.
>>
>>97313417
I just don't want to use any sort of browser at all, just something locally with its own window and program. I used the Graphics Acceleration and so far its coming out well, just fine-tuning it to get something decent.
>>
>>97313432
As far as I know, all the local AI models use a web browser for their interface. It's not like a freestanding program would help with your problem; it wouldn't use a meaningfully different amount of system resources to run.

The reason why robots are good at photorealism is because the internet is full of photos for them to draw off. And your response was "Well why is this specific model different?". Models can look like whatever their makers want. You're an idiot.

>aesthetic of an old black metal demo artwork, classic painting artwork with several harsh lo-fi filters plastered over it, heavy film grain, high contrast, black and white, very abstract wideshot of a battered cyberpunk mechanical girl, with metal bobcut wearing a halfcut cloak. She has lined circuitry across her face and robotic limbs, with one visually damaged robot eye. She is crouching atop a dumpster lit from above by only a single streetlight in an otherwise pitch black background. Her pose has one hand touching down in front of her crouched legs, and the other arm outstretched clenching her fist around several hard light digital cyberspace-esque snares that trail out of frame. Her expression is that of a serial killer. 4k masterpiece ominous atmosphere, photo scratches, bleak,
Type that into Perchance and select "Digital Painting" as the style.

As you can see these aren't perfect since not a one of these has given me the monofilament holographic garrotes that I'm shooting for.

>>

I don't believe these men are soft, nor were you when you made this...

Anyhow, the book is about a kid getting some cool visorshades that let him control reality. By the climax of the book he is going insane & stuff like your pic is happening in the background with godzilla stomping around & reality unraveling to the insane whims of a 90's kid who has lost all control of his subconscious. One of my favorite books when I was young

alright

here's a take on the Dip, a demonic black dog that drinks blood
in this case, I gave it some sort of shapeshifting abilities, disguising itself as a monk to prey on unweary travelers
it makes some sense, considering that Dips preyed on drunkards and immoral people, so there's a moralizing element to them
