>>97310998We've done a war scenario before. It's not really anything new besides the mechanical changes suggested. I think what anon is trying to accomplish with this setting could just as easily be done in martial path. If anything, martial path is better suited for it.
>>97311087>I definitely prefer it to some other cyoas.KOFF KOFF sc KOFF KOFF
>>97311087I don't want to flood a new thread so if it gets annoying I can wait until the next Secret Hours, otherwise.>I think anon just needs to elaborate on his expectations and what the universe actually is.Yeah, fair.>>97311060I want to use the setting at like 70% of how it was portrayed and 30% exploring it from a different angle.
>>97311117It's not like anyone is talking about anything else.
>>97311087>>97311117So, to explain my thought processes. As previously noted in the old thread, I very much enjoy the early-early worldbuilding of Naruto, where it's soft implied that Shinobi are elite specialists that inhabit a wider ecosystem - hired by nations as assassins, thieves, bodyguards and other esoterica. Rather than what the setting later became in Konoha Crush, I like the idea of Ninja Villages being organizations rather than synonymous with their Nations. Following that, I also found it cool whenever Monks, Samurai, and other non-Ninja Chakra Users turned up. I also liked what little we got of the Second Ninja War, with Amegakure doing everything they could think of to try and repel vastly more powerful Great Nations. The summary of that comes with essentially three vibes;>Part 1 Powerscaling, Ninja are extremely spooky elites to normal people because they can transform, go invisible and control minds but aren't necessarily village-busting supermen>Decoupling the setting slightly from Shinobi to account for Samurai, Sohei and other Chakra-using weirdos while still having a significant focus on Shinobi for people who want that, a consequence of this is introducing 'mundane,' armies and people to the story so that characters can simultaneously be highly flavourful super specialists that beat normal people silly without needing to be the White Fang>Second Ninja War WW2 vibes of war being hell, especially with Ame deploying biological weapons and being forced to surgically augment its own people to keep up with crazy batshit like Hyuga and UchihaImportantly, I was considering a game where we're not all playing generals, kings, kage or whatever as heads of the conflict, but are components of it, to really sell that elite specialist vibe.
>>97311110I wonder what new scenarios could actually be done? Something I thought could be fun is Bloody Mist; an extra heaping of edge.
>>97311179The intentional dichotomy of Ame's alliance and the Great Nations is essentially New Blood Upstart Technologists vs. Ancient Wizards, if less extreme. The idea being that the Great Nations' long-standing traditions in using Chakra comes across as mysterious, mystical and supernatural to normal people. Amegakure, meanwhile, in their desperation, are doing their best to industrialize warfare and grab at any grimy source of power they can - freed prisoners, mercenary units, hastily augmented supersoldiers and what few native Chakra-users they have being forced into the grinder to try and deal with the Samurai and Shinobi being flung around by larger Nations, using their technological advantage (late 19th century, ish) wherever they can.
>>97311221The ultimate vibe is a collection of the world's schizos, from vengeful refugees and odd Chakra-wizards to Shinobi turncoats and the aforementioned prisoners, mercenaries and supersoldiers have been collected by Ame - allowing for people to make varied character concepts - going on the defensive against the usual stuff we play. The idea being that Hyuga, Uchiha, Senju, Aburame and whatever else aren't the normal - they're scary-ass legendary names of weirdos from the Wizard Village that are beating the hell out of us and we're pulling together whatever scrap we can to kick them out.
>>97311179>>a consequence of this is introducing 'mundane,' armies and people to the story so that characters can simultaneously be highly flavourful super specialists that beat normal people silly without needing to be the White FangI feel like this consequence is the biggest and most important one. That really kinda changes the scale of things. There's a certain disconnect I feel from having random bandits we can murder to actual armies being fielded by both sides from the peasantry. I feel like untrained bandits employed as cannon fodder or ravaging weakened farming settlements is the happy medium. It becomes really, really silly when militias are involved.>>97311221I honestly don't feel too psyched about this. It's basically a departure from what we know about the antagonists; it feels like it's not Naruto at all. Also kinda feels like midichlorianizing chakra lol (midichlorians were perfectly fine albeit but you know what I mean; doing to chakra what people said midichlorians did to the force).>>97311265>The idea being that Hyuga, Uchiha, Senju, Aburame and whatever else aren't the normal - they're scary-ass legendary names of weirdos from the Wizard Village that are beating the hell out of us and we're pulling together whatever scrap we can to kick them out.I do actually really like this idea; it sounds fun to me and lets Noble Clans actually be important if they're big antagonists.>The ultimate vibe is a collection of the world's schizos, from vengeful refugees and odd Chakra-wizardsMaybe it's just me but I don't actually like this idea that much; the concept of those characters just sounds cringe to me. And not in the cringekino way.
>>97311179What's the intended rank? Are we all B ranks? A ranks? Or lower and C ranks? Is a PC chunin with all points spent (including drawback points) closer to a chunin exams Dosu, Rock Lee, or Gaara?
>>97311385FWIW I wasn't expecting armies of like millions of people like in real life, just generally outnumbering the Shinobi like 100/1.>>97311424B-C is the intended medium. With C being super special forces compared to the mundane forces and B being the ones with known names. A-Rank would be a little high for the vibe but permissible on occasion.PC C-Rank Chuunin is probably Chuunin Exams Rock Lee and Dosu (Rock Lee isn't a higher tier so much as dumped all his points into fighting), with Gaara being out of our league.
>>97311424>>97311460>Including Drawback PointsNevermind, I misread, yeah someone with like +20 Schizopoints is probably closer to Gaara.
>>97311460>just generally outnumbering the Shinobi like 100/1.Holy shit. That's ALSO way too much lmao. I feel like a dozen per of worthless fodder per shinobi is more... feasible for the world.
>>97311511Considering how war works a properly deployed Shinobi who could beat like 10 normal guys would easily wrack up a killcount of hundreds over the course of a war.
>>97311524Unironically I have no doubt that a shinobi could beat 100 fodder losers, it takes like one burrowing jutsu and its over for people with spears and bows. It's the fact that they exist to die at all. Holy shit is that a lot of people. And the logistics to support this!
I'm gonna say what we're all thinking. Ninja Cancer, Old Wounds, Emotional Weakness, and Rage should be the only drawbacks allowed because they're the only ones that aren't entirely free points. If we give Tragic Backstory extra PTSD we can allow it too.
>>97311548The Allied Shinobi Forces numbered like 80,000 Ninja, which was widely mocked for being too many Shinobi when the number was revealed. Even then, if you multiplied that by 100 you'd still get the entirety of the Ninja World's army being smaller than the alleged personnel of the Qin Dynasty irl.Remember, even in ancient combat, which Ame isn't even doing, only a small fraction of soldiers see combat for a small amount of time. A majority of war is standing and walking.
>>97311571What about Dullest Kunai->free points for martialbrosOh yeah, nevermind.
>>97311590I feel like a bit over 80,000 able-bodied shinobi existing in the world is a pretty decent number ngl.>Remember, even in ancient combat, which Ame isn't even doing, only a small fraction of soldiers see combat for a small amount of time. A majority of war is standing and walking.I know, but where are these people coming from? We're going from Hidden Villages to Hidden Countries. I don't think all of these people need to exist, it's a small world.
>>97311625If we're going by early Part 1 then the Nations always had implied towns and cities and the Hidden Villages were isolated places where Shinobi Families trained. I can reduce the number if people don't like it, but I do want Shinobi to be weirdo mystic warriors for basically anyone outside their isolated communities.
>>97311571Instability should be allowed too so I don't have to take Emotional Weakness on my edgeDEITY who feels nothing but rage so I can hit my 20 points.>>97311591Dullest Kunai should be allowed for ninjutsu and genjutsu nerds only.
>>97311591Taijutsubros taking Dullest Kunai doesn't make Dullest Kunai free, it means they're committing to the bit of being tactical idiots that beat people up instead of smart Taijutsu users.
>>97311638>but I do want Shinobi to be weirdo mystic warriors for basically anyone outside their isolated communities.I think it's just a difference in tastes. I feel like part of the charm is that almost everyone in the world (besides the farmers and some other laypeople) is a ninja.
>>97311571>free points. The no fun allowed anons are back.
>>97311649>smart >Taijutsu userspick one broski
>>97311658There's ZERO world in which you should get free points just for telling us you're gonna fraud by picking Irrelevant or Unloved. Your Tragic Backstory Sentimental Treasure Fated Rival Bad Habit build SUCKS btw.

>>97311708>wanting to limit points is anti-narrativefaggingYou don't want drawbacks that matter, you want free points. You can have your drawbacks that don't matter for free.
>>97311657Ye fair I think we're just at opposite ends of taste here. Which is fine, I just need to defend my take on the setting a little while I finish up the DLC/Scenario and can shift a bit in favour of general opinion as we go.
>>97311719This >>97311708 they don't want a story, they just want stat sheets and they want to optimize points. Fun is not allowed, only math.
>>97311719To be fair in this case I'm essentially redoing parts of the CYOA for a specific theme so I'd expect people to come out of the woodwork to rulesfag but we have traditionally gone overboard, yes,
>>97311717Mechanical drawbacks that should have actual effects on your character should be allowed albeit. Just not stupid shit.>>97311719Autism.
>>97311719The cyoa is really really bad besides being a fun enough powerpicker and terribly unbalanced in the amount of points it gives you.
>>97311725>You don't want drawbacks that matterYou are unable to recognize what does or does not matter. Your "free points" are actual drawbacks, they have negative consequences. If anons ignored them in previous runs it's not my fault but they have an effect.
>>97311743I am somewhat tempted to remove the fluff Drawbacks but I think we're being a little harsh. Things like Arrogant and Bad Habit are fine. Narrative Drawbacks are a hard sell because they're essentially just points for roleplaying that nobody else gets and force certain plots to happen.
>>97311758>Narrative Drawbacks are a hard sell because they're essentially just points for roleplaying that nobody else gets and force certain plots to happen. And that's a bad thing why? There is no problem with that. If they were called missions nobody would complain about the same things.
>>97311665>The ominous Chakra Flow Weapon Art Stealth Build
>>97311772>If they were called missions nobody would complain about the same things.I can 100% assure you that someone would complain.
>>97311752>and terribly unbalanced in the amount of points it gives you. That's not even true. The anons here just hate power.
>>97311772>And that's a bad thing why? There is no problem with that.Disagreed in a multiplayer setting. We're all here to die in the trenches, so the 'my life sucks,' Drawbacks are, in essence, either free points or mechanically determine that nobody else's life can suck as much as this guy's or else it's unfair.>If they were called missions nobody would complain about the same things.I also generally don't do Missions for the same reason. Narrative impetus is good, great even. Getting a huge chunk of points for having a narrative impetus doesn't sit right because everyone is supposed to have one.
>>97311735>>97311737>>97311743>>97311752I mean I guess I kinda get limiting things from a narrative & powerscaling perspective (as someone whos nor overly familiar with the cyoa), as chuunin characters basically can't percieve or interact with Jonins, the same with Jonins and Kage, Kage and Sanin+ tiers, etc.I assume thats also why its prefferred to run settings like MHA, JITE, Village, Martial Path, etc. so that everyone can be somewhat relevant combatants and hold narrative stakes.
>>97311791It's less powerscaling and more a lot of the Narrative Drawbacks are things like 'there's a guy you hate,' or 'someone you don't like is in love with you.' Mechanizing these into points means you're either saying things like this can't happen to characters without the extra points, or they're free points you can just pick up. They work very well for single player where you're fantasizing about isekai'ing yourself though.
>>97311789>We're all here to die in the trenchesNo we're not.>mechanically determine that nobody else's life can suck as much as this guy's or else it's unfair.Yes, that's how it works, and it's not a bad thing.>Getting a huge chunk of points for having a narrative impetus doesn't sit right because everyone is supposed to have one.And they can, they just need to choose the right drawback/mission. If they don't want to have the narrative drive it's up to them.
>>97311756Having a tragic backstory or smoking addiction should not give you free points that effect mechanical things, what is so hard to understand about this?>>97311758Arrogant is fine but Bad Habit is really pushing it ngl.
>>97311811>Yes, that's how it works, and it's not a bad thing.I think we'll just have to agree to disagree because I find that incredibly stifling and mechanical to work around rather than an emergent narrative.
Is it going to be mostly naruto for tonight?
>>97311806>Mechanizing these into points means you're either saying things like this can't happen to characters without the extra pointsYes, it's how it works. It always worked like that. Even cyoas made for this thread have the same drawbacks and they are not a problem. Only in naruto they are suddenly unacceptable.
>>97311817Bad Habit is only four points and if you're actually doing it properly you've got smoker's lungs, are drunk half the time, have nerve damage from drugs or are constantly injured or something. It really can be a bad thing for the character if taken seriously.>>97311821Hopefully not, if it is, my bad for posting the homebrew, I apologize.
>>97311825See >>97311818 I don't think we'll see eye-to-eye on this, but I do get what you're saying.
>>97311818>I find that incredibly stifling and mechanicalI find all the other rules and limitations to be incredibly stifling. Getting points for bad things is a cyoa staple, balance in narrative is not a new concept.
>>97311826It's not exactly a bad thing, but I think I'll just sit this one out and hope it's over by the time I wake up. Good night, thread.
>>97311825>Even cyoas made for this thread have the same drawbacks and they are not a problemname 4 and I'll tell you if they're shit or not
>>97311839Talk about something else?
>>97311817>Having a tragic backstory or smoking addiction should not give you free points that effect mechanical things, what is so hard to understand about this? The fact that they are not free, you pay for them with bad things.
>>97311837I can accept that if the narrative thing is generalist like SC's Magmatic where you're constantly getting into fights, less so if it's plots like 'one of the other PCs hates you,' because that's just the kind of thing that happens.
>>97311850>because that's just the kind of thing that happens. And you should get points for it.
>>97311826>Hopefully notIt's too late. You should have let the discussion die in the last thread, now this one will be all shitposting.
>>97311864Devil's advocate, should PCs get stronger if they later start PvPing with another PC?
>>97311874Yes.
>>97311658fuck off powerfag
>>97311880Okay, I can see that, though I don't entirely agree. Would you say it'd be fine for a character to recoup about 20% of their entire budget for that in extra points though? You get a LOT in Naruto for really hating someone, which is probably why people are wary about it.
>>97311821If you have a better topic please do tell. Because they will not stop without a distraction.
>>97311850SC's Magmatic is a textbook on how to not implement a drawback lmao. On top of free points that shit allows you to make your own sect, one of the same benefits as Charismatic, which costs points btw. G3 Alchemy doesn't have enough rizz to start a sect, but someone who took a drawback gets to do it.
>>97311901SC drawbacks are all fine.
>>97311846>The fact that they are not free, you pay for them with bad things. It makes sense in singleplayer, not in multiplayer. You shouldn't get mechanical benefit for things that aren't real mechanical drawbacks. Now, if Tragic Backstory gave you PTSD and it's worldtaking over urges were properly protrayed or we actually cared about smoker's lung or goonbrain.
>>97311901Fair, probably should've said Trouble Magnet, even if it is an AP farm it's hard implied you're going to be miserable because everyone's going to jump your ass.
>>97311896Everyone else has monopolized the chat long enough. Now it's Naruto's turn.
>>97311913Even Equipment Mixup?
>>97311913You gay ass futalover.
>>97311918>You shouldn't get mechanical benefit for things that aren't real mechanical drawbacksWe are not playing an RPG, mechanics should not be the be all end all of the balance. It's a narrative, and narrative hooks and dynamics should be considered as well.
>>97311938>>97311940that's the best one
>>97311913Male-to-futanari being the strongest gender is the funniest shit.
>>97311953Female-to-cuntboy is just as strong albeit
>>97311938>>97311940It's disgusting, that's why it's a drawback. It's not my fault if the rest of the cast treats it as a good thing.
>>97311943I think we're fine with narrative hooks, we're just less fine for getting a lot of points for taking narrative hooks. Anons would be way more tolerant if they were like 2pts instead of 7/13 desu.
>>97311966>we're just less fine for getting a lot of points for taking narrative hooksThat's not a problem. You should get a point from hook, or a reward of some kind.
>>97311984>You should get a point from hook, or a reward of some kind.Sure, but getting many points is too much, it's not a binary consideration.
>>97311943>It's a narrative, and narrative hooks and dynamics should be considered as well. Why should your narrative hook give you an extra 10 mechanical points just because it's in the cyoa?
>>97311936The run hasn't even started yet and it's already devolved into this shitflinging. Naruto will never start as long as this discussion keeps repeating.
>>97311995That's why we should do what we did last time and let me decide the rules since I'm the smartest, most talented, and best at making rules we'll all enjoy.
>>97311995That's only if we're starting by community. One anon is making the scenario and calling the shots with threat input/feedback atm, so they just need to not pussy out.
>>97312006You're lucky I ultimately agree with the Chunin run rules you son of a bitch.
>>97312006So it's your fault all the rulesfagging starts every time nardo is mentioned. We should just use the cyoa as is instead.
>>97312016The cyoa as is sucks albeit. AGPotheosis is a hack.
>>97312011>One anon is making the scenario and calling the shots with threat input/feedback atm, so they just need to not pussy out. He's not. He's making something else that isn't nardo. He already gave up once as well and instead of picking up where he left off he started from scratch, not promising.
>>97312030Still better than the rulesfagging.
I just want to make a traumatized child soldier I can writefag turning on the world and getting traumatized further, and have the setting and mechanics not suck ass. Is that so hard?

>>97312115Shirogami... Filius before Filius... home...
>>97312126Regardless of the arguments, people want to play Apotheosis's CYOA, it has rapport. If I completely reworked it to OC like my original concept I'd have to put my inexperience to the test with a fraction of the interest - there's a certain artistic integrity in that, but I'd rather start an actual run.
>>97312140>but I'd rather start an actual run. Then give up on the rules. It's clear that's the problem. Also not now since we already have too many MPs, wait until the fastivities are really over before declaring Martial Path dead.
>>97312140>but I'd rather start an actual run.Chunin Run 2 with those rules is probably the safest option. Besides, since what you want out of Naruto is clearly at least a little different than some other anons, maybe making OC is best.
>>97312159>Then give up on the rules. It's clear that's the problem. As someone who's been through all of this before, if it's not the rules, it's the lack of rules. Trust me, there's no solution here beyond someone making the decision, the best I can do is try and harmonize the thread's opinions to something that makes people less angry.>Also not now since we already have too many MPs, wait until the fastivities are really over before declaring Martial Path dead.Agreed, my intent was aiming for in a few months but the conversation unfortunately sparked enough interest to spill over, apologies.
>>97312167The problem with the OC is that Apotheosis essentially did Nardo 1:1 so virtually any deviation is actively causing it to be less Naruto and more my own weird homebrew of the setting, which I would do if it didn't alienate even more players.
>>97312178I mean, what alienation is there? Who's really being alienated? I feel like they'd play something close to Naruto anyway. I don't think we have a subset of anons who want to play only Naruto and nothing else. I think.
Canonfaggots ruining what could be a good thing, what else is new?
>>97312178I remember your old concept and I liked it more than rulesfagged nardo.
>>97312189To be more specific it's something I'd like to do in Naruto itself for plot and thematic reasons, so the more Not!Naruto I make it the more difficult it would be for people to synchronize their expectations with the game. I'd essentially be bulldozing the canon and reworking the Jutsu system into something hierarchal.
>>97312204What even is there to canonfag? We don't use canon and we have like 40% non naruto powers in the cyoa.
>>97312212Anon, you seem a bit confused on what you actually want. It seems like you keep saying you want naruto but you don't want naruto. Also it seems you are the one that wants to use an OC setting the least.
>>97312212I am afraid that I don't understand. Could you elaborate further?
>>97312206I liked where it was going but didn't really trust that it would do well for the above reasons. If there's any more desire for a No Breaks Obliterate The Canon OC Rework of Naruto I could scrounge up and polish what I was working on for comparison and we could see if we'd prefer to stick with Apotheosis or pivot to the OC concept, but I'm not entirely sure how we'd track that without being obnoxious.
>>97312233>>97312219Narratively, I want a highly specific lens on the Naruto setting that we'd seen in pieces here and there that were never really the focus of the manga or anime, see the homebrew posted last time or discussions earlier. Mechanically? Apotheosis essentially mimicked Kishimoto's showing of Jutsu as identically as possible to the anime - the problem is the Jutsu system kind of sucks and was obviously phoned in for whatever was cool without that much thought to coherence, so I grapple with it often and decided it was probably best to let go and use Apotheosis' accurate portrayal instead. My take on the system hyperfocuses on mundane skills that branch out into supernatural skills rather than the Random Bullshit Go that we got in the actual media but it'd require enough reworking that people would invariably get upset about me butchering canon techniques to fit them into the new system.
>>97312276>My take on the system hyperfocuses on mundane skills that branch out into supernatural skills rather than the Random Bullshit Go that we got in the actual media but it'd require enough reworking that people would invariably get upset about me butchering canon techniques to fit them into the new system.I feel like my issue with this is less butchering canon techniques and more that that sounds kinda lame in general.I am going to say something possibly controversial and possibly wrong; anons like Naruto being highpower.
>>97312276Not any of those anons but why wouldn't you make OC? Anons here are willing to play anything if the rentry runs are anything to go by.
>>97312340>anons like Naruto being highpower.Nta, anons like naruto being high power untill the they don't anymore. They want high power but they also do everything they can to make it impossible to get it with the rules.
>>97312340>anons like Naruto being highpower. This is where me and John Anonymous tend to have the biggest tension point, yes. I'm all for someone getting some high-end jutsu after building up to it via a tree, but a lot of anons want to skip the normal techniques and get right into the flash - which makes sense, that's basically what the second half of Part 1 and the entirety of Part 2 is about.>>97312348Risk of like 5 anons playing and then it dying off. Apotheosis' has an insane amount of inertia even if it invites some less than pleasant conversation.
>>97312348THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY PLAY DRAGON BALL AND CRASMARSPE WITH ME*throws laptop with all my rentryslop at the wall, shattering into a million pieces, cries*

>>97312373Is it really better if anons aren't playing the same thing? At least you might get a few more from others who're interested in Naruto but hate canonfagging and wikidiving.
>>97312439>what the fuck crasmarspe isIt's spongebob, but someone tried too hard to find a reason for the fucked up rules of reality so now it's also a post apocalypse.
>>97312462Sure, I can dust off the concept and post it some time this week I suppose and see if it has a better response than the one we have now. I still have the design documentation. The run will happen either way, but it seems like there's at least a few people interested.
>>97312469Well that sounds like the exact opposite of fun
>>97312490Does it? I'm very neutral on it. I think you can make some fun characters in it but it's also a bit strange.

>>97312579>if it's a main focus focus of the settingI just checked and it's literally one paragraph.>Long ago, in a war between two idiotic civilizations, the very concept of swimming in water was destroyed along with them. Water simply became another breathable material that makes certain funny rocks explode. Although, Cursed Pools where swimming can now happen have sprung into existence, and you can technically swim via anti-gravity. I mean, you can swim through like lava and sand and stuff too, if you're able. What I'm trying to say is that you can't swim in water, capiche? That's all you get about it being post-apocolyptic.
>>97312588What the fuck are you rolling for?
>>97312579The apocalypse is not a main focus of the setting. I guess it depends on your definition of focus, would you consider the apocalypse in Adventure Time a main focus? Because it's just like that. Strange shit is now happening because of a war millenia ago that nobody even remembers, water doesn't work like water anymore. Some creatures leftover from that time adapted and evolved. And that's it. I wouldn't count it as a main focus unless someone makes a character specifically to study the apocalypse, but that's just me.

>>97313824Did it? I don't remember much people joining other ships as crewmates because ships were free so everyone could just be a captain. I do remember fleets being formed though.
>>97313874One Piece would never work anyway because crews are too competitive anf risky and everyone wants to be a CHADrine.

Scrapper is my only real regret as an MP but it was inevitable considering how it started.
>>97313880I don't think that's a real problem, and we didn't even have that many marines last time. The whole feel of One Piece is very much not about competition, even with the marines you get friendly rivalries pretty often.
>>97313894I do remember Scrapper doing good with multiple crews, kinda sad I didn't join it at the time. I hope we do something sci-fi again.
>>97313915My main problem with scrapper was that my idea of the setting was very different from the rest of the thread, and by the time I got some ideas for the right vibe it was already dead. I wouldn't mind some sci fi, depending on the kind of setting, I even have some good faceclaims prepared for it that would fit. But good cyoas for it are rare, and I would prefer something a bit different from scrapper.
>>97313915>>97313957For me I just didn't like Scrapper's powerpicker.
>>97313969It is a bit lackluster. I remember some anons wanted to make custom artifacts but were rejected at the character creation stage, we never got far enough into the plot for us to find new ones narratively. At least not usable ones.
>>97313957>>97313969>>97313974Because of how it went Scrapper is one of the few cyoas I would want a full revival of, but I also know that it ended for a reason and a full revival wouldn't work. I liked the cast.
>>97312592I thought you were talking about the mha Sandy
>>97312015Chunin is also just more fun if you're going to run nardo for MP. Child soldiers being used in a mostly nonlethal proxy war (that ultimately becomes lethal) to maintain peace between the nations as essentially WMDs checks a lot of boxes. You get built in conflict, blood feuds, clan politics, training arcs, friends to rivals, enemies to friends, etc. And all in a central location for the anons who insist that this is a necessity.
I kinda want a sci-fi MP. Dunno if there's any good cyoas for one though.

Kaoru and Madoka were on clean-up duty for the day, working as a coordinated cleaning battalion unit. Their weapons were brooms and mops, water and disinfectant. This was a good paragraph, with evocative imagery. Using light twice in the same sentence feels a little off, "in its melancholy" or some other way of working the word in might have flowed better, but this paragraph stood out to me as feeling very good to read.
>>97316883Well thanks man, sometimes I use an idea twice because I forget I just used it. I don't really re-read my stuff because I think about it for a while before I write it, so sometimes my work could do with an edit. A little re-wording could've been good, but I'm glad you like my prose because I feel like my prose is usually pretty mid and I enjoy writing dialogue more
>>97315271>>97315287It's alright, I already knew you guys were gonna do that (the former of you will still make a build and then dump, it is foretold). That's why I'm investing in Earth Grudge Fear.>captcha changed AGAINWHYWHY DO THEY KEEP DOING THISIS IT FUN!?DO THEY THINK IT'S A CUTE LITTLE MINIGAME
>>97317709Sorry, but QTE GODS run things now.
>>97317709>That's why I'm investing in Earth Grudge Fear.Is it going to be a girl? It's critical to a heart-stealing build. Otherwise it'd be gay.
>>97317709>>97317736>Earth Grudge Fear girlimagine the sex
>>97317754I never had it nor have I consumed porn so I can't actually.
>>97317785no sex education either? underagebab...
>>97317945NTA but my school actually never had sexed. Literally nothing. They just assumed zoomers were either not having it or already knew I suppose.
>>97318030I mean, unrestricted internet access is pretty much sex ed and most kids have that 12 hours a day.Though if we wanted to be crackpots about it, its for a reason (A bad one) because children without sexed are statistically less likely to report on pdfs so the rightwing and religious people who do that stuff push for it not to be taught cause it 'corrupts the children'even though sex ed is consistently proven to reduce teenage pregnancy.
>>97318051Reckon JITE school has sex ed? Does Japan do it or is it too shameful for them? Whose providing impromteu lessons about it when someone says stupid shit?
>>97318051>unrestricted internet access is pretty much sex edI would say that the amount of misinformation about sex on the net far outnumbers the correct information. Especially for teens and kids that are not really searching for correct info and instead will probably stop at the first couple of porn videos or hentai memes.>>97318061I'm pretty sure they take it more seriously than america, but that may be a recent thing.
>>97318061>The only class Yaya fails because she can't name reproductive organs without blushing and stuttering.>Kenji and Kohaku keep losing points because they ask about inane shit like tapedecks and cloacas.>The only class Kentaro has a passing grade in.
>>97318109>Kenji, NO! You can’t put your dick in the VCR!!!
>>97318051yeah, still not letting some midwit school teacher be the one to give my kid "the talk"
>>97318109It's alright. My build will tutor Yaya.
>>97318168Pedotsuki...
>>97318168Tetsuya...
>>97318168She shouldn't be taking that class yet anyway, she skipped grades. That's not something you should learn early because you're smart, it wouldn't make you better at it anyway.
>>97317785Jesus doesn't like it when you lie, anon.
>>97318204I'd argue that fart inflation morphs on deviantart don't count as porn.
