How do you solve problems or contribute to your team? I play a Wild Shape Druid, and I like to spy and scout by shapeshifting into a mouse.
My character actively contributes to making things harder for the party
My character tries to lie to NPCs to avoid problems and is also good at staying hidden to sneak around for others.
My character hunts mice.
He upsets the gentry until they start actively ignoring him, then he uses the cover of everybody trying to pretend he doesn't exist to steal the silverware.

>>97314548I'm playing a giant ogre, and I usually solve problems by applying brute strength to them.>Can't open chest, grab chest and carry it to locksmith>Pickpockets active in the area, wear locked chest as purse and break key>Can't access funds in locked chest, break chest>Enemy about to become a nuisance to our plans, wait until he goes to take a shit and roll boulder in front of outhouse>Need to spy on meeting but have no good hiding place, throw party member into nearby tree topAnd so on.

>>97314548>what does your character do*My character* does whatever is necessary as an expert in her field to not only survive the dangers of combat and exploration, but increase her own chances of survival by cooperating with her team to the best of her abilities.Depending on the individual character's ability and competence, she will avoid:>being in a hostile situation>being detected by hostiles>being identified by hostiles>being confirmed by hostiles>being engaged by hostiles>being hit by attacks>being affected by attacks>being harmed by attacksand may assist her allies in any of these regards as applicable.>How do you solve problems or contribute to your team?*I* solve problems by analyzing the situation, and figuring out which of my characters' abilities best suit the situation as fitting for experts in their respective fields, and as appropriate for remaining resources or possible synergistic maneuvers.*I* am not *my characters*, because I play roleplaying games.
>>97314548>solve problems or contribute to your team?First and foremost I'm the party's beatstick, although this being Werewolf the Apocalypse all characters can roll a decent amount in close combat I'm decidedly more lethal than the other party members. And during chargen I put decent points in Leadership, Intimidation, Performance, and Persuasion so I'm kind of effective as the party face when need be.
>>97315614In 3e that would unironically be god-tier.
>>97317083The Create Pit spells were poorly supported by mechanical design in both the bestiaries and player resource / action economy. That's why they're powerful. They were just bad fucking game design, and using them is an abusive exploit on the level of Pun-Pun and similar such tortured RAW language.
>>97314548I play a cute redneck elf.>out of combatI contribute by negotiating, bartering prices and occasionally bringing food to the table>combatI flank. I kite.
>>97316664>I do not mine character because roleplaying games. Thanks for contributing I guess.
>>97315614Shut up, Peturabo.
>>97314548He enchants weapons, armor, and sex dolls for the party.Despite having a negative Charisma modifier and no social skills, he has also ended up being the party face.Speaking of, he has probably taken more bullets to the face than the rest of the party combined.
>>97314548I'm a bard, I help by doing just about anything the other party members don't feel like.
>>97314548I pick people up and refuse to put them down
>>97318966>intentionally bad-English greentext with the worst possible correlation drawn to it in terms of both faith and logic>passive-aggressive crying blacktextOP asked two questions, and I answered in specific detail, which is exponentially more that what we got from that lazy sack of shit and his useless thread.Thank you, and thanks to OP for nothing.Die.
>>97314548You aren't allowed to post here unless you're asking about what elves are like in others' settings.
>>97314548I play a Wild Shape Druid and I contribute by being the tank since everyone else is a regular ass caster
>>97318966Retard.
>tankYikes.
>>97319678Eat shit.
yep he's mad LOL
>>97314548My character is inspired by Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks and largely acts in accordance with esoteric signs derived from things like cloud formations, dreams and the position of nearby objects. None of this is mechanically supported and he doesn't possess any special divination abilities nor does the setting adhere to the rules of Twin Peaks, so none of this actually works, he just believes it does. So, in answer to the question, he mostly contributes time wasting.
>>97318551Borrowing, anon. Burrowing.
>the overly pedantic metafag shithead is upset his time was wastedTruly one of the greatest things to see. God I love it.
>>97319666Bruh homie very clearly has autism. Look at how he describes his character.
