They live under the earth in great tunnel complexes and domesticate giant cave grubs and other strange fauna.Theres more detail I could add, and Dominions also has quite unique interpretations of traditional fantasy races, but this should be enough to get you thinking.

>>97335858Going off what >>97336230 suggested, what are more obscure beings, creatures, and entities from myths, legends, and folklore that might work as races besides the more common ones like centaurs, etc.? Some mythologies claim that primordial humans were once more powerful/different, I'd use the idea that some of those primordial humans managed to survive as a distinct race from modern humans, for instance.
