Do all LGS smell really bad or is it just mine?
Most don't in my experience, of the dozen or so I've been to over the years only one had any scent of note.
Probably a customer
>>97341384Sharp stale sweat and mildew. Obviously customers are part of it but not the whole story.
>>97341454Unremediated water damage. Check the ceiling tiles for stains, that's gonna be your explanation nine times out of ten.
>>97341332If your LGS has any other smell than paper and whatever they use to clean the floor, that's your local problem
Could have been much worse.
>>97341463And often the store just deals with it because the rent is cheap enough to survive.
>>97341332One of the few good effects of more normies getting into the hobby is that game stores are much better about enforcing some basically social norms than they were in the 90's and 00's. Back in the day a lot of neckbeardery was tolerated because these guys were vastly outspending the random normies and women they scared away. I only really smell BO at game stores now if I have make the mistake of going in during Friday night Magic.
>>97341463I don't think it's just water damage.>>97342400Picture made me lol
>>97341332I also wondered this long ago... And then I went out and started visiting many game stores and I realized that there are definitely different tiers of quality to game stores...That being said, anon. I may have some unfortunate news for you...
4chan has historically addressed the problem of gamer stank.https://archive.org/details/the_well-cultured_anonymous

>>97341332There are a bunch of shops where I'm at, and all the stinky ones went out of business, literally.
