Can we have a harengon thread here? I've always wanted to play as one but as a forever DM never had the chance. To anyone who has played one how fun is it?
>>97343536It'd be my race of choice for a D&D game if it were available, just because I'm a degenerate with terminal bunny-brain. The basic consensus seems to be that they make strong spellcasters and buff/debuff style support because they get Hare Trigger for better initiative and Rabbit Hop which lets them exit melee without provoking attacks of opportunity. Of course, these could be useful for pretty much any class.
>>97343536Played all of DOIP as a Harengon sorcerer. As >>97343591 mentioned, rabbit hop and hare trigger are great. I also took the alert feat, so I had a big advantage on initiative. Really can’t even tell you how much fun I had playing that guy.
>>97343536Dnd has homogenized races - sorry species - to the point that there’s essentially no difference in them. The experience of playing a harengon is the same as the experience playing a tiefling is the same as the experience playing an elf is the same as the experience playing a genasi - that is to say they’re humans. Stupid thread btw, keep this kind of low level question to the 5e generals, it doesn’t deserve a thread of its own
>>97343836(OP) here.... we mostly play 5E (2014).
