Merged power lets my Natural Weapons adapt to become the best possible tool to the situation. Aside from the Material Weakness, pretty much practically immortal for all intents and purposes. Obviously pretty screwed by being a Big Corp Asset, but that’s a problem to solved in due time.

Going beyond the limit means you are a slave and must have Uncontrollable, Unpredictable, and Chaotic Conduit, which is so terrible that I don't see why the limit exists at all. You're better off within the limit than beyond it even in a hypothetical scenario where the limit doesn't exist. The limit has no reason for existence.

The protagonist got a power destined to be too strong for the setting and the support of a flawless hero institution, so the villains ended up getting a silly amount of powerups to compensate, then heroes got more asspulls, deku got spiderman's powerset for some reason, and so on.
