We have all experienced the coming and going so GMs, Players and games; and then left holding the bag too start all over again at Square One. If and when you have to start over from scratch how and where (online) would you start I'll look for groups and games?There has been numerous reasons that would force someone to start all over again be it scheduling, life, work, people changing.

Half the point of ditching it all would be to drop the perma-online cancer. I'd find some people who never played and grow the group from scratch instead. If I can't do this, well, no games is better than bad games.

In my experience heading to the local uni and seeing if they've got an rpg club is the best option, followed by searching some variation of 'tabletop rpgs in [city]' on facebook or re**it.
