How are interspecies relationships between yuan-ti and humans treated in your setting?
The Yuan-Ti form Snake Cults in human cities. They do it to attract followers who can be used as canon fodder soldiers in the endless war against the Dwarves.
There are no yuan ti in my setting. What now, gooner faggot?
>>97355296They sell black slaves to the trans-atlantic slave marked.
I don't have Yuan-ti in my setting but I do have serpent women and their relationship with human men is very poor. They are the most cold, manipulative and controlling of wives who use their own children as tools of control. They've completely psyoped the one city they control into being a matriarchal dystopia that allows their evil to fester hidden underneath the surface.
>>97355296I love Yuan-ti. Here's my summary of the Monster Ecology lifecycle out of Dragon Magazine in the 90s? 80s? One of the two. My shelf is almost five feet away. The human druids who originally drank the Black Broth became the first Histachii. These deformed monsters bred to create Pure-Blood Yuan-ti. Histachii pairings between anything other than one another creates HalfBloods (Malison). Pure-Bloods may breed with any non-Yuan-ti to produce additional Pure-Blooded offspring but breeding between one another creates Abominations and coupling with Histachii creates Half-Bloods. The creation of the generative Black Broth requires the capture of Ophidians and Amphisbaena, who are frequently found as domestic populations with a Yuan-Ti temple complex. Because Yuan-ti cannot exercise priestly magic themselves, human Snake-Priests perform clerical duties and Yuan-Ti rely on psionic and arcane abilities. The need for Histachii breeding is one of the primary responsibilities of the human snake cults and why they require human "sacrifices." The other being priestly magic, since Sch'theraqpasstt refuses to grant divine magic to Yuan-ti, and will only give those powers to the humans who worship the yuan-ti. Mostly because he's dead-ass crazy.

>>97355391Nope. That's a paragraph of me summarizing the info straight outa my setting document that I made for the world we started playing in before the pandemic. Sorry anon: some people on /tg/ do actually play games.
>>97355396thats never been the issue, gpt. the issue is these spam threads made by nogames and defended by retards like you, if you are arent the ones spamming the threads to begin with.
>>97355391>>97355396Here's my map of the main city. The game has to do w/ time travel. The setting is a generic-ass fantasy world. 200 years ago, 11 ships arrived on an unoccupied continent fleeing some long-forgotten catastrophe to a generic world of humans, elves, halflings, gnomes and dwarves. The frontier has orcs and goblins in the mountains, but otherwise seems uninhabbited. But something fishy is going on: there are ruins dotting the landscape and ancient, city-sized tombs full of traps. If only they could remember what the catastrophe was! Turns out it was Yuan-ti trying to meld the world into the 111th layer of the abyss where Sch'theraqpasstt dwells. Their empire sacrificed entire civilizations to their insane god before their entire continent sank into the ocean/abyss. The survivors were few and fled to a continent at the edge of the world that seems unoccupied but was once inhabited by a variety of fey people who foresaw the coming descent into the Abyss and "retreated" into the fey realms via mass suicide, leaving huge ruins behind that were boobytrapped to protect their corpses and treasures from being disturbed by the agents of Sch'theraqpasstt who were invading at the time, 800 years ago. As the players explore, they found less a generic, stale frontier romp and more a mystery to unravel about what the world actually used to be, how horrifying it's become, and the fact that even now, it's still sliding into the Abyss.>>97355422Imagine throwing a fit because someone on /tg/ is talking about a game they're running. Whew boy. Grow up.
>>97355440Another map from the game just to annoy the one dipshit throwing a fit because I'm talking about a game on /tg/. This is the environs around one of the 7 small kingdoms' castle where our first adventure started.
>>97355466And here's the starting city. The "city" is fairly small. The entire frontier is only around 200k people, mostly human.>>97355422>thats never been the issueYou appear to have lots of issues, anon. But they're not my responsibility and I'm not terribly interested in you.
>>97355296Ka naama kaa lajerama
>>97355501Here's a map of the tiny kingdom the players began in. This isn't the map we used, though. That map is actually a physical collection of minis printed from etsy that are painted and put on a pegboard. Lemme see if I can find a picture. I left it at someone's house where we were playing, so can't take a new one at this moment.>>97355507Rather than what? Engaging with your paranoia that I might be AI? Your dellusions of persecution and attempts at arm-chair janitoring of /tg/ aren't interesting to me, anon.
>>97355296Sinfully.
>>97355536>Your dellusions of persecution and attempts at arm-chair janitoring of /tg/oh how clockwork you are anon. and im sure these images aren't even from your campaign, probably just reposting them to give the illusion that your spam threads aren't from nogame retards shitting up the board.
>>97355536Hey! Found an old picture. It's not fully painted in this one. The toothpick flags w/ place-names aren't there and the cotton "clouds" around the board aren't in-place. This was a fun project. Hopefully you can see how the inkarnate version of the map relates to this.
>>97355296is this the seventh concurrently running interspecies thread?
>>97355588In case anyone has ever wondered what they look like, I bought a mini off heroforge to represent the part on the map. I'm not great at painting, as you can prolly tell from that image. They're definitely not worth the price and it's one of only two I've ever bought, but it turned out rad anyhow. For $70 each? My own shitty painting is good enough, though. But it's fun to have.>>97355586Your paranoid dellusions really aren't my problem, anon.
>>97355614you're repeating yourself now.I accept your concession.
>>97355614And here's the whole frontier continent that the players are on. It's not huge.>>97355617I'm glad you feel satisfied, anon. As your mommy? That's really important to me.
>>97355644And here's the old world map. The player continent is the tiny little island labeled Dayyanu. This continent has completely sunken into the ocean/Abyss.
>>97355588This is really neat, was this a premade set of hexes or did you build this like wargame terrain?
>>97355692Bought them from a 3d printer on etsy. The set are called Hexton Hills. Was gonna link the printer I bought them from, but it appears his shop no longer exists. It was years and years ago that I bought them. But looks like there are still other etsy printers selling them. Just search Hexton Hills. Old seller was named BitForgeUS
>>97355692>>97355705Oh but to answer: the tiles are individual. You assemble them as you please. I glued mine to that poster-board, then painted, then put cotton around it to sorta look like clouds, and used toothpick flags to add placenames. I'd really like to post a current picture... but it's currently in my buddy's garage/workshop, where we play.
>>97355705>>97355715Thanks anon.
>>97355733You're welcome. But yeah it's all prints. The ones I physically have made do not look nearly as nice. This one is a board w/ interchangeable tiles, the point being that players draw locations from a deck to decide what's where and what the campaign is. We've never actually played it--the idea is if we go on vacation it's a Labyrinth Lord game that can be played in 1-2 days. The color-discs poking out show if it's friendly or hostile. You draw form a deck of like 20 places (and tiles), and then place as you (the players) choose. And which you place where determines what the campaign is about. Some day we'll play it, but mostly it's just for me to have fun with.
>>97355323This is a great dark heart of africa plan but in a way detracts from how it was already black-on-black violence if you're trying to be like that. The entire convenient is just >The Hungry Coast and barely known about outside of myths in my setting but there's workable material there. >stereotypical free the slaves stuff>slave warlords just keep selling slaves is at least a chuckle.
Tranny janny defending shitters and their threads but won't moderate massive ongoing shitpost spergouts in any other thread. Fucking faggot. We see what you are doing.
>>97355858Anon if you're upset about the quality of posts on /tg/, know what the solution is? Make quality posts. It's not "throw a shitfit and accuse others of being involved in a conspiracy."
>>97355296I don't have yuan-ti specifically, but the similar race in my setting colonized the known world and has set the culture for thousands of years. They imposed their pantheon and/or subverted local worship, and took a first-among-equals position among their client races. Their empire has retreated since, but the culture lingers, including permissive attitudes about interracial relationships. Such unions don't produce offspring, so concubinage is accepted if heirs are expected, but in a practical sense only the very rich and powerful make use of this option.
>>97355866Cool, how does that fix when other threads get off railed for days at a time and theres not a hint of moderation to be seen? Will my quality posts suddenly get the janitor to do his job for them?
>>97355881You're throwing a fit because the thing you wanted to talk about is being bumped for the thing someone else is talking about?Dude that's how 4chan works on purpose.
>>97355296By asking if they have a loicense for that
>>97355872But do they have human sacrifice? Gotta have human sacrifice if you're gonna have snake people. That's what makes it fun.
>>97355881Go apply to be a janny. Clean the board up instead of shitting your pants. Its pretty simple.
>>97355887No anon, pay attention to whats being typed. I'm calling out the janny accomplice who is prowling these threads that are spammed out 10 at a time for anyone who points out they are spammed out 10 at a time, meanwhile any other given thread can have the most egregious and obnoxious trolling and flooding going on for days, yet nothing is done about it.It's blatant and transparent, and more and more people are catching on. You can dismiss it as a 'shit fit conspiracy' because apparently you believe everyone lacks basic pattern recognition, but there's a reason more and more people are leaving for greener pastures.Even if all these awfully disparate maps and bits and pieces of lore are yours, you could have talked about them in any thread that didnt ask the same 'how do you x in y' as to let these shit out threads rightfully die off, but you didn't and instead strawmanned that "/tg/ doesn't play games and mad im posting miiiiineeee!!!!" like everyone hasn't shit on these threads for being made by nogame faggots for years. you aren't fooling a single person. get your tranny janny friend to delete this post too, but know we know and plugging your ears to it won't change the dismissals you get.
>>97356047Get a grip my dude.
>>97355588Would you please tell me the measurements of these Hexes?
>>97356164They're three-inches across, ish. But like I said: bought them from an etsy printer so I assume that, if you find someone to print them, they can be printed at various sizes.
