I don't care about muh soggy knees, I just find it dumb and not that sexy. If you want them to be fanservicey, just to do cloth/leather/gowns/body hugging leather, or make them fight nude. This stuff just comes off as a dumb sacred cow compromise that isn't actually needed because clearly the entire invention of chain/plate bikinis was just there to pretend at the tiniest bit of legitimacy.
