Do you guys know of any places that turn real places into top down tabletop maps? Looking for palaces specifically.
>>97363741all you'd need to do is take any publicly available floor plan and apply whatever form of tiling system your game runs.
OSHA
>>97363779I'm aware of that but I'm hoping for something higher detail and lower effort, stuff like this. I'm doing a Rogue Trader campaign with my boys. We were gonna lay out a whole command staff living area and customize each of our rooms, and I had the idea that we could just take an existing map of some historical baroque/rococo palace or something and then edit it to be more 40k. I assumed that there would be a billion people who have run historical campaigns and have made proper maps with textures, furnished interiors, etc for them, but I can't seem to find any.
>>97363831I know people post them on twitter, good luck finding them though
I've been down that road. Palaces and other enlightenment-contemporary structures are surprisingly boring in terms of layout. Just use dungeonscrawl and make your own thing imo
>>97364350I mean, in general people don't design palaces with dungeon crawling in mind.
>>97364350How is that boring. There's like a billion things that could happen in that floor plan.
