I've just finished reading the finale of the All Guardsmen Party, it was lots of fun but now im feeling kinda empty, is there anything even remotely similar? please i need stuff to read on the bus.
>>97364065I've never read it. Can you describe what kind of stories you're searching for?
>>97364065Are you just looking for fun stories of other games, or specifically for other WH40k tabletop stories? Or higher quality than average stories?
Eh, screw it, I'll spoonfeed OP cause I got nothing better to do. I'm sure some autists will scream at me for ruining /tg/ further talking about old storytimes cause they're all fake or whatever, but fuck it. Some of these older stories were what inspired me to actually try out tabletop games instead of just reading about them all day, fake or not, so I'll share some older stories I liked and why.>Tale of an Industrious Rogue, one of the best Pathfinder campaigns I've ever read and making me better realize playing evil/ambitious characters can be rewarding at the table>TwoDee's Shadowrun Storytime, which inspired some of my friends to try running their own games, albeit a little less pink mohawk than Twodee's group did.>Deffwotch, which along with The Guy Who Cried Grendel, helped convince me to give WH40k a closer look beyond the Dawn of War memes>Memories of a Stonewall, a Legend of the Five Rings campaign which convinced me to run one myself for my friends even if it was cut shortAnd as an honorable mention>A tale of GARO, which is a single thread on suptg that was what inspired me to actually become a DM to run games myself instead of just passively reading them and hoping someone else would start a group for me to joinI guess what I'm saying is that there's plenty of old storytimes to read through, but it's better to make your own, since you can plan out how to make your campaigns better while waiting on the bus. There's more stuff out there, like the Shadowrun C.L.U.E. Files, but I'll leave it to you to find those out yourself.
>>97364784>Are you just looking for fun stories of other gamesYes
>>97364065>google All Guardsman Party>find site>see a line saying "Other AGP related thing">do a triple-take4chan has rotted my brain. I blame you guys.
>>97364992Thank you very much.
I like deathgate. Succession forts aren't quite in the same wheelhouse but I was marathon reading them at the same time I was marathon reading sup/tg/ too.https://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=84451.0
>>97364992>picrelGod what a legendary gametale. I aspire to that sort of fuckery.Seconding Shadowrun Storytime, hats off for America-san. Also seconding Memories of a Stonewall, which is solely responsible for making me begin to respect weebshit.>>97364065Further 40K games are Into The Maw: Or, How I Became Incredibly Wealthy, which you can find on RPG.net, and Only The Worthy: Or, The Story of How I Fell to Chaos, on the same site - Rogue Trader and Black Crusade respectively. If dorf fort is an option, Boatmurdered is the classic, but I'm betting you already know about that one considering you have a functional search engine.
>>973649922D's stories are second only to AGP as far as 4chan play reports go.
