With the old CSM kit, I had to tons of cutting, greenstuffing and general work to get them in poses I liked, the basic bitch pose (especially with bolters, which were also fiddly as fuck to actually get them to hold) was lame as fuck. They had flat joints and slots for heads, and loose shoulderpads. Also upper torsos and lower legs separated, but this actually just meant they all had to stand in the exact same pose with extremely little variety unless you wantes to start cutting kneecaps and fuck that shit. With the 'new' csm kit, if you just build them according to the instructions, they look fucking cool. The arms have fitted joints that make it easy to get them into the specific intended pose, but the connection points are easy as fuck to sand down if you want to change anything, and I've magnetized a few to provide them with weapon options. The one bit the new kit didn'thave that the old one did was the large icon on pole, but (especially with the kill team upgrade) it has a bunch of other bits like much more varied helmets and shoulder pads. Oh, and the arms, shoulderpads, backpacks and heads are all perfectly interchangeable with every other non-character power armor kit in both the SM and CSM ranges.
