Now that he lost all credit for his scientific accomplishments, what exactly was the point of this guy? Like what purpose did he serve in his own empire?

HNIC

The more important question is how does that affect playing the game?

The original framing device for explaining Astartes augmentations was his scientists telling him about their work. Pretty much the moment we had anything solid on the Primarchs' creation, we were told there were other people involved. Astarte and Erda may be horrendous for other reasons, but they were dropped into long-established yet little-discussed space.

His role remains as it ever was: The giga-Psyker warlord that got the ball rolling, long retired from active rule to end up an icon for those who did after him.

You have a general for these inane shitposts.
>>
>>97387018
Yeah it's such a shame that a bumpfagged Puckee thread got bumped off
>>
>>97387004
Good to know that your inane question has nothing to do with playing games, nogames.
>>
I genuinely wonder how many of the glut of 40k threads can be attributed to the same person. if there's more than 3 people making these threads I'd be shocked.

Like all Turks, everything he accomplished is someone else's work he claimed credit for and eventually he ends up failing due to a combination of his own hubris, general ineptitude and atrocious social skills.

It's perfectly in character.
