>TQI've seen enough honestly. Its obvious they can only keep implementing more redundant dogshit in them that makes previous journals fucking worthless. They can probably only add on to something that was genuine toilet paper like the wood elves journal from the start.
>>97389664>TQLike story/lore/fluff events? Or game idea events?
>>97389690Anything really.
>>97389664>>TQ:>What events do you want to see in the Arcane Journals?beastmen vs orcshigh elves vs cathayempire vs empire
Will mutts have to do without warhams now that the UK is being tariffed again?
>>97389804and the Canadians
>>97389755>beastieboys vs orcsDang im a goat enjoyer myself and never considered it a peak cinema match up, what's the appeal Anon?
>>97389664GW's big narratives always suck but if they could at least not cock up the opening battles of the Great War it'd be nice to see them expanded upon.
>TQMaybe less focus on the Chinese this time around. They already have two journals about them and they still haven't gotten me to care one bit about big titty dragon lady.Bretonnia, dead Egyptians, the grim-edgy vikings and the fantasy Netherlands got some attention in the journals. Maybe something involving the orcs or high elves this time around? Either could involve the 'proper' Empire provinces in a way, be it orcs invading Averland (I'd love to know what those provinces down south are up to) or something to do with that Osterlund super-province... as long as it involves the Empire.

Welfs :)
Do you use models during your WHRP sessions?
>>97389888One of my all time favourites. The model just works.
>>97389888>Tactical root
>>97389817??? We aren’t tariffing the UK? Why would prices here be affected?
Just a quick question: a friend and I are playing a 500 point game tomorrow following the path to glory rules. He's playing chaos and I'm playing lizardmen. Which scenarios are best suited for such small games? Only the three included in the razing of westerland? Are there any others?
Reading through the TOW faqs (yeah I know I'm late to the party) it says unless an infantry unit is charging, the first and the second row can fight. Doesn't that give a huge advantage to the unit that's being charged since it's fighting with 2 rows against the unit that's charging, fighting with only one?
>>97390230Assuming no special rules yes, infantry is better defensively. This can change if you have special rules like Furious Charge or Frenzy where you get extra attacks for charging in addition to the extra initiative everyone gets from charging. You generally want to be marching infantry blocks onto objectives and using them defensively to contest/hold them.
>>97390230Isn't that only when they are equipped with pikes?
>>97390250Naw, with supporting attacks they get 3 ranks now.
>>97390250No, post FAQ the second rank can make a single supporting attack from each model. This is in addition to the extra rank gained from spears.
>>97390248>You generally want to be marching infantry blocks onto objectives and using them defensively to contest/hold them. That sounds really lame and puts me off of giving TOW a chance
>>97390269>>97390272Well, that's what I get for not getting the FAQ
>>97390272>single supporting attackThat's not the way its worded for press of battle. The second rank is part of the fighting rank, so both ranks get full attacks.
>>97390292If maneuvering blocks of units to accomplish things in battle doesn’t sound like your cup of tea then maybe TOW is not for you. >>97390293It’s on the website for free
>>97390292It’d be fine if tow was a napoleonic but yeah it’s boring in fantasy on paper I guess.
>>97390301You can be in the fighting rank and not be allowed to fight, if you’re outside your movement value of the enemy. Being in fighting rank no longer means you always get to attack. If you’re in base to base AND in the fighting rank you get all your attacks. If you’re in the fighting rank and NOT in base contact you only get 1 supporting attack. This is why the entire second rank only ever can get 1 attack max.
>>97390301>>97390340See this for example. It’s a bit confusing but yeah infantry are nowhere near as strong defensively as you think they are.
>>97390310Do you not get tired of doing this? It’s not funny anymore.
>>97390381At least you’re not calling me a Perry schizo.
>>97390363right, i remember this part now. Well, whatever. My dual weapon gors ain't getting most of their attacks anyway if they get charged.
>>97390128All NA GW imports go through the US(in their Memphis distribution centre), so everything that America tariffs also increases in Canada when related to GW
>>97390405With gors you want to be charging most of the time at least against certain enemies so you can get your extra strength from Bestial Charge.
>>97390173There is one more that is free online called Seize the tower and a few more in war of Settra Fury AJ
>>97390418Yeah that's what I been telling people. Ungors are the only units beastmen have that want to take a charge.Mino's and bestigors can take one, but they also want to be on the charge anyway.
>>97390418>>97390433Not to mention if you get frenzy via Primal Fury, you want to keep charging for the +1 attacks
>>97390433>>97390474It’s also just unbecoming. Can you imagine a herd of Gors standing in front of the enemy and not charging? It would be a scandal.
>>97390494Naw, they take the charge every so often for one real reason: they had a failed charge. And yes, they deserve to die for their failure.
