Is your experience with TTRPGs more broad, or deep? Have you played a variety of systems, or mostly focused on a single one? I'm interested in what modern /tg/ looks like in this regard. What year did you first play a TTRPG? For the purposes of this thread, we're not counting solo RPGs or one/two page games.

In no particular order, list which TTRPGs you have played at least one campaign in, indicating editions if you think it matters. If you GM'd that system, put an asterisk next to it.

I joined a campaign last year after playing 600+hrs of BG3. So DnD 5E is all I've played. I'm still having fun with the system and there are still characters I want to play so I'm in no mood to switch.
However the superhero one and Daggerheart have my interest so I may go to one of those next.

Rn reading GURPS and Pathfinder 2e but putting them on hold while I battle depression, goal being to force my players into not playing dnd

Definitely broad. I've played 3.5, 5e, Call of Cthulhu (5e, 7e, and the d20 version) Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Delta Green, shadow of the demon lord, punkapocalyptic, zweihander, WHFRP 4e, Blades in the Dark, Scum and Villainy, Edge of the Empire, Feng Shui 2, SWADE (both vanilla, and Deadlands), Cyberpunk Red, Shadowrun Anarchy, Mothership, Spooktacular, Unknown Armies 2e, Traveller and a few Fate varieties.

Most of this has been one offs or campaigns that only got a session or two before they died, but there have been a couple of longer campaigns in there.

I wouldn't say that my experience was particularly broad or deep, but i was definitely captivated by it early on

>What year did you first play a TTRPG?
I don't remember specifically but the first close approximation in playing with a ttrpg was with HeroQuest in 1994-5? (i was 8-9), at my friend house, i got the real thing in 1996? when my father gifted me the Dragon's Den becmi boxed set (picrel), but to be fair i didn't understand much of it. It was only in 1998-9 that i finally got to play at a real table in my town's lgs with a MERP group.

Some old BRP or Palladium Space game (i don't remember exactly, i think it was heavily hombrewd)
An homebrewd rulesystem consisting in bits from rolemaster, ad&d players options: powers & skill splat and chain dice for attributes (much like savage worlds, the scale was d4 -> d6 -> d8 -> d10 -> d12 -> d20 -> d30 -> d100).
