However this isn’t an issue as the TOW community came up with the “ Renegade Pack “ rules to rebalance legacy lists to compete with core lists. Some were way too weak (Skaven) and some were way too strong (Vampire Counts). With Renegades all around they are more balanced. That’s a nice thing about the TOW community, is when GW releases something stupid, tourney organizers usually quickly adjust comp or adopt something that brings into more into line. It’s like the opposite of 40k where only official GW rules matter to the average player. Also fuck GW. 5x square 40mm bases cost $8 from them. I paid $15 for 100 40mm square bases including shipping.

They're very happy being in smaller, cozier terrariums and even if given the space, most species will choose a part of that tank and never move from their spot or bother exploring. Inverts are like pet rocks until you get into centipedes or bugs that chase their prey rather than wait to ambush them. The emperor's are also pretty harmless even if you get a really bad sting. Your hand will go purple and the site might weep a bit for a while but it heals pretty fast.
