>>97404841I think iron warriors are the only ones with long term satisfaction: red corsairs don't have the kind of aesthetic to integrate well most of the normal chaos range so they'll always feel small, custodes will get cucked out of their 30k toys and never get anything else in 40k, so they'll also feel tiny, iron warriors meanwhile will perfectly use the normal chaos range and you can mix and match or kitbash both 40k models and hh models together with a wide range of unit profiles, also look forward to units that are very much their signature stuff, and potentially look for further support down the line with a primarch and some other characters

5 assault terminators. Should I run them with hammer and shield or claws? +1 to attacks and +2 to strength on charge with red thirst. I’ve read claws are better, but they seem like they both have advantages and disadvantages. With hammers I’d be wounding most infantry on 2’s on a charge and 3 overall with dev wounds and they’d have more durability with the extra wound from shield. 2 wound attacks as well.With claws most infantry I’d be wounding on 3 on charge and 3/4 overall but reroll with twin linked. Plus twice as many attack. 1 wound each though and one less wound.I’m almost sold on the hammer, cause of the dev wounds and the harder to killness of them. Is this the wrong decision? Do you think I’d have more luck rerolling a bunch of fail to wounds with claws?

He strode into battle alongside a cohort of flagellants made using empire flagellants, but I cut their hands off at the wrists and glued weapon bitz to the stumps to make it more grimdark, one dude was blind and carrying a flaming torch, another had bells screwed to his flailing arms to signal the arrival of this very loud and proud inquisitor. Agents have a ton of kitbash opportunity but not great for a newcomer, helps if you have bitz and spare old sprues and kits to pull from.

Get two sister of battle squads for the one immolator, it lets you split the squad in half and the good guns in the transport the extra 5 become action monkeys. Even better, get 2 immolators and combat squad the sisters between the 2 of them.And swap the porphyrion for a canis rex its MUCH better in the army. Unless of course you are really attached to the big thicc knight. Canis Rex is a much stronger datasheet though it looks more like a classical imperial knight.

i want to get into the game with a 1000 point army of creations of bile. i dont want to spend much because of how expensive the game is. the list has fabius as the low with 10 chosen along with a chaos lord with living carapace and 10 legeionaries. there is a 5 man team of termies and a 5 man team of possessed with a single rhino to carry the chosen around. do you think this is a fun and playable army thats still cheap?
