Eventually the warp entity seemed to grow tired of toying with the marines and spat them out into the orbit of Baal where they could witness the true destruction that befell the once great homeworld. Stricken with the grief of losing their brothers, the shame of failing to aid the Blood Angels in time, they set out on the galaxy with a new quest. One of hatred. One of revenge. To seek out the dark forces that tore their family asunder, they now patrol the edge of the Great Rift stalking whatever occult evils that unfortunately find themselves in their path.
