Getting the keyparts only need some patience and Godly Boon gives me time to become fluent in the local language.
I wanted Stealth and Undetection along with Philosophy but didn't really care about the survival training and Undetection isn't worth 3 points, end up going for magic that use philosophy. I took Transmutation since 3 magic I want are unlocked by taking it and Divination sounds useful for the esoteric magics, hopefully I can learn True Conjuration soon.
If Cardless Magic wasn't an option I would have gone with Unity of Opposites Fires of Creation.

The author really should've specified which tech upgrades even apply to machines. Do machines live forever (thus making Spellbreaker useless) or do they die of organ failure? Can they take advantage of regeneration to regen their internal organs? Don't they all have metal bones by default? Are their lungs just regular organic lungs too?

Sleep at the vaults, in a room that need the Mark of passage to go in and out, a clean one. Can get food at the mindbridge if I don't find any inside the vaults.
Not having Explorer is a minor problem with the very high Traits, both the vaults and mindbridge aren't that dangerous.
None of the drawbacks should be a big problem, with my Luck I will find a way to know about and deal with the cancer early (even if late, Fortitude 3 with double Regeneration should make surviving removal easy), Addict and Walking dead only need some time and discipline and Outside won't last long with Brainpower and Perception 3 to listen on the peoples at the mindbridge.
