Would your current campaign make a compelling tv show?
Can you PLEASE fuck off
>>97455093If it was animated by madhouse, sure, more than Frieren.
>>97455093Producers would likely want some character changes to make them more naturally appealing, but ya, it's started off strong.
>>97455093>Would your current campaign make a compelling tv show?Possibly, but probably only if it had aired in 1991, when it is set. It's basically meant to be a cartoon for the Generation 2 Transformers toys.
>>97455093Yeah there's a pretty classic narrative escalation of stakes, from taking back a city taken by a horde of monsters to uncovering a plot that will cause untold devastation to whole world using said horde as a distraction in that region of the world. It wouldn't be remembered for originality by any stretch except for maybe how the endgame probably ends up on the moon (there are options the players can take to draw the villain out before he heads there) which I stole from the infamous amount of cut content from FF4 and the infamous amount of cut content from Dragon's Dogma
>>97455093Absolutely not.
>>97455093Did you really have to post this thread again?
>>97455093It barely makes for s compelling campaign.
>>97456181Well, was the last thread successful?
What is it with FotM anime fans always wanting to talk about them on the wrong boards?
>>97455093No, and that's completely fine.I play games because I enjoy games, not so I can create compelling non-interactive media.
It would be better than most contemporary star wars stories at least
>>97458085That isn't a high bar, hasn't been since 2015.
>>97455093your thread is still up>>97451291
>>97458283theres a chance he's just one of the shitters that piggyback off of other threads/posts in those threads.
>>97455093Hell no. My table wastes too much time on planning, ritual casting, and digging themselves out of their first-order plans. Even if it was cut down and revised for time, too many PCs are either retarded and/or spoonfed the plot for there to be a good story. At best you could get some badass fight choreography and some funny clips for TikTok/YT Shorts
Current campaign, no, as I don't have one. My old Pirates of Drinax campaign, absolutely. That was such a good campaign and great group of roleplayers, I've never had anything like it again
>>97455093Probably, yeah. Its already episodic as it is but with multiple ongoing overarching storylines. It would honestly probably work better at a tv show than it does as a TTRPG, which by nature of the format moves slower and is limited by the POV of the player characters. As a TV show with an ensemble cast, you could progress the story faster because things would be able to happen without these specific three to four guys being in the room to see it happen.
