You could also go hard into Followers or Skills, but the latter isn't really too useful unless you have at least some supernatural stuff to let you punch up.

B- means you have 20 circuits, but after casting a big spell half of them fry out and you drop down to 10. Meanwhile B+ would mean you have 20 circuits, and when in a place related to your magecraft's mystery your body temporarily spawns 20 extra circuits somehow, for a total of 40. Those are just examples of course, the exact conditions and reasoning for how and why are a case-by-case basis.
