>>97510638The only book you really need is the Player Survival Guide (all the rules and items and mechanics) is free on the Tuesday Knight Games site, you have to give them an email adress tho.There's a ton of content in the NSR trove, if you get the basic books from there make sure you're not getting the 0e zines. The Warden Operations Manual is mostly advice on how to run the game, some of it could be important depending on how quickly you pick up mechanical implications (for example, it's rare to have a roll at or above 50/50 but you're supposed to treat it as degrees of failure or collateral effects). The ship book is considered core, I don't think it works with most adventures.
