Xy is so unfathomably powerful that his ability to destroy all the demons or devils in the outbreak war is a real thing. He would likely wake up the rest of the Old Ones before he acted either way. he would deffintly make one or both sides of the war heel to his will.But I think its far more useful for them(old ones) to just feed the war and let it go longer and harder to give them cover and time to re-build whatever mechanisms and power bases before retaking the Megaverse. Im sure the other old ones would need time to recoup when taken out of torpor. At least writing wise they should need to otherwise its just game over for everyone and no need to write a whole book about it.

Especially for outdoor engagements, the massive distances of a power armor flying at mach 1 and laser rifles and such is hard to put into token form. Did the Rifts Blood War thing get merged with the Fantasy world? We never got a definitive god metaplot in Rifts (for good reason). Is the Blood War finished or still ongoing in published books?
>>97538069So Xy is the greatest of the old ones, he and the other old ones and their alien intelligence underlings (the level of power needed to make an alien intelligence heel is wild) anyhow instead of all creation being made by good its basically all made by evil that created servants and powers that worked against them in the end. Good and evil decided being owned was too much so angels and demons sided together type shit for their own freedom and others.the old ones created a lot of the races from elves, wolfen, giants (most), minitors, ect. in the end of the war The Old Ones couldnt be destroyed so they were put to sleep, or in the case of XY he was tricked into walking into one of his own magic circles that changed his alienment from evil to good, wiped his memory and ejected him into the depths of the megaverse. He was still the most powerful being ever in palladium (all settings) but he doesnt know it anymore and belives himself far weaker than he actually is. Eventually he re-emerges as Toth a god of magic and knowledge, and has forgotten more spells than most gods know. If Toth ever remembers who he was and how powerful will he go back to evil? stay good? anyhow Toth is active in Rifts setting, the minnion wars extend to HU, rifts, PF, BS, Nightspawn. this is just a broad what if, would Xy reconquer the demons and devils? pick a side to take over and crush the other, arm both sides and use it as a distraction to be left alone while waking up the other old ones.(this is my thought).would the demons and devils drop the war and battle against the old ones again or submit.its kinda the over arching meta plot of most palladium games. it would be a good ending to the minnion wars to have a reason for them to stop fighting.

Why didn't Chi-Town and Free Quebec attack Lazlo from two sides and crush them? Instead they fought each other... somehow... over the same area as Lazlo exists in. How?
>>97541686What? I thought Free Quebec had an alliance with Chitown. But anyway, the idea for the most part is that Chitown and Quebec dont attack Lazlo because they straight up are out of good luck. Tolkien and the Federation of Magic campaigns only worked because their opponents lost their allies. In this way its most likely they know that a war with Lazlo is going to escalate into a world with everyone because Lazlo is making allies and is going to keep them, it made the difference in the last two wars so even an idiot would know to do that. They also know how badly they handled the juicer uprising and how the CS can be disrupted with quick strikes and cowardice or mistakes in a command structure that doesnt tolerate questions means that their command is a weakness.

Laser is less effective against reflective armor (like the Glitter Boy) and in fog/storms/clouds.Bullets/kinetic slugthrowers have best penetration vs armor.
Metal Heads should be able to choose other cyborg body chassis. Its stupid to think they'd all be these weird custom jobs when the best thing to do is just start with what already exists.Also. Are there any cool cyborg options in Three Galaxy or adaptable from Heroes?
