I've decided to make the expansionist empire faction for my CYOA jacked hyperboreans instead of Rome LARPers. As much as I love Rome, their lore is too distant from the city's republican origins and the terrain is less mediterranean than it is floridian-nordic. Besides, we never see these kinds of barbarians leading an empire- they're always savage tribes on the fringes, and I think inverting that somewhat is interesting. They should make for a fun opposition. The first page is done and has a stat system, which you'll be augmenting and tweaking with a customization section that will be 72 choices long. Most likely more. We'll see.

This conflict is in a stalemate that will eventually cause the world to end if it doesn't get broken in favour of one.
