The ninja turtles precon is actually kinda awesome. You really can cut out 10 cards and make it a go wide, battle cruiser, timmy deck, and I'm all for it.

Thirty (30) starting life is objectively superior to fourty (40)
They should increase starting life in this game. 40 is not nearly enough. Often enough you just want to establish a board, ramp and do your thing. But then some tryhard comes along and starts the beatdown. I was thinking of something in the ballpark of 60 starting life. Maybe even a hundred.

If you play an untapped shockland or something you still lose the life.

Hear me out, the 'may' is actually a benefit because retards will frequently pick the wrong choice because they like their 4 card hand.
>>97609547>unless it's comboIt depends on what you mean by combo, but not really. Commander relies a lot on synergies, so it's not uncommon for decks to just pop off really hard. I think my most generic deck is Magus Lucea Kane and with her + a couple way to untap her she can go green sun's zenith / chord of calling / finale of devastation into some combo of alter ego, master biomancer, lotus god, prime speaker zegana, verdous gearhulk, and avenger of zendikar to make an absolute ton of tokens and draw a ton of cards. Or if you don't have a tutor you can cast a big genesis wave copied several times and dump your board onto the battlefield. Or zoanthrope for enough to just blast somebody to death and have bodies to kill the others. Or just murk somebody with kessig wolf run + commander damage. Odds are high the later the game goes that somebody has a crazy pop off and wins.
