How alpha is your character?
>lookin good ladiesExtremely beta, not really by choice, he's an extremely schizophrenic middle aged tradie, even among other schizophrenics
>>97615342>xhe's still stuck on Alpha
Wolves don't really follow the Alpha, Beta, Omega model in nature. They only do that when you put together a bunch in a zoo and they don't know each other well. Most of the time, it is more like family units: dad, mom, pups. So Alpha, Beta, Omega is closer prison/gang sociology.
"Lone wolves" in nature are usually just young adults looking for love, not edgy outcasts.

>>97615451>reddit spacing>reddit blather
>>97615451That's a really bold take on homosexuality

>>97615521>reality hurts my feelings better call him reddit
>>97615342Extremely because I always end up as the designated tard-wrangler for the autistic spergs I play with. If my character isn't "alpha" enough to keep them focused and stop them from doing stupid shit, the entire party will end up dead or in jail by session three.

>>97615342"Alpha" means leader. It's not a personality. The 300 Spartans were betas and Leonidas was their alpha. Your average vikings who terrorized the coasts of Europe and soaked themselves in blood were betas, only their king was the alpha. Even dogs know that any given pack can only ever have one leader, and that leadership ("alphaness") is a relational concept that of its very nature cannot be extended to everyone, not even to so much as a minority. Thus, unless your character is at the very least the leader of some group, then they are not alphas but betas.
>>97617055>Even dogs know that any given pack can only ever have one leader,That's because natural dog packs are literally just male and female paired long term + their recent kids. The "one male who leads and one female he procreates with" is equivalent to "fucking is for mom and dad, not you and your sisters". And dominance hierarchies are more akin to getting secondhand clothes from older brothers (except it's prey because it's wolves) than some sort of masculinity contest. Alpha in general is a very embarassing term to use seriously.
