How would chukudus fit a fantasy medieval setting?I see them and see medieval tech could make them.
I guess you could add them to give a modern-ish aesthetic mixed with low technology, but chukundus are shitty even by medieval standards so I don't see anyone but niggers using them, and niggers only use them because they look like the Vespas they wish they could buy.

In an age of AKs and metal ships good quality wood can be used on these things instead of boats and bows. You can also see a large spring in the one OP has posted which is not something commonly used in earlier periods.As for why they don't spread it's because the Congo is not doing well even by Africa standards.
