FATHER OF TOXIC GAS AND CHEMICAL WARFARE
>>
>>97665099
Sofar the best tool ever to kill all the warhammer faggots and make their lives as miserable as possible.
>>
>>97665239
the advent of 3d printing only proliferates warhammer further by providing it to audiences who otherwise could not partake in it before (thirdies and poorfags).
>>
>>97665099
ok I'll bite here's your worthless tiny bit of internet attention you sad poor person.

"fdm peasant hands typed this post, seethe cope mald etc"
>>
>>97665099
You ever actually look into the safety specs of resin printers? 99% of the exaggerated concerns people pretend to have about the super dangerous chemicals can be eliminated with a box fan in a window, or about 40$ of ducting hose and an inline fan turned on while the printer is running.

All those youtubers who oversell the dangerous VOCs are usually doing some dumb shit where they have a completely sealed, windowless concrete room where they run a dozen printers with the hoods removed, and then pull out a VOC meter and go
>HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO BAD EVEN MY SPONSORED AIR FILTER (discount code in the description) IS STRUGGLING
>>
>>97667928
Lmao, absolutely not. Actual testing has shown this to do almost nothing. You decrease the levels from way too high to way too high. If you don’t have a properly set up fume hood per printer you are poisoning yourself and anything less is a cope.
>>
>>97668688
What actual testing? Go on. Let's see it.
>>
You just make a box for it, vent it outside, and wear a mask. Ideally in a low traffic room.
>>
Sabaton's recent two albums just don't do it for me like some of their earlier stuff. I think Civil War's newest one tops them which is really weird to think about.
>>
>>97669444
It's gotten very pop-y.
>>
>>97669449
that's a good way of putting it.
>>
in hindsight I really wish I had spent $300 on a bunch of extremely high quality dnd minis instead of $1000 on two 3d printers to make a bunch of middling quality brittle ones that are toxic and can't be left around pets and children
>>
>>97668688
Still waiting, cunt.

>>97669522
You get a lot of animals eating your plastic minis, retard?

Where are the supposed VOCs coming from? Resin forms bonds by cross linking after a chain reaction kicks off free radicals that propagate through the material creating epoxide triangular shaped bonds out of monomor chains. It doesn't use solvents or anything that should be too volatile

lurk moar newfag
you're trying way too hard to try and fit in

>>97667928
>You ever actually look into the safety specs of resin printers?
obviously a rhetorical question but you know full well none of them have, probably don't even know what an SDS is
this shit is pure FUD in service of the toy company they're in a parasocial relationship with
retards so impractically minded they'll probably i
>>
>>97670098
ate my post
...injure themselves the first time they attempt DIY around the house

>>97670042
>Look mom! I'm fitting in!
You're unironically acting like a redditor.
>>
My organic chemistry professor said to just bake off any waste you had with uv and dump it in the garbage and said that I huffed ten times more dangerous stuff just working with acetone
>>
>>97667592
even fdm printers diffuse VOCs into the surrounding air.

Any 3d printer should be used with PPE and in a well ventilated, confined space. They should not, under any circumstance, be used in or near routine living areas. Retards with a vested financial interest in STLs will spout utter nonsense about how "safe" using industrial grade petrochemicals is without understanding or willfully ignoring risks involved. Now having said all that 3D printing is still great for the hobby and GW can suck my dick. If you don't have the money or space for a proper setup you can still get custom stuff made from dudes on etsy who will happily poison themselves to stick it to the man, and its still cheaper than buying direct from GW or any other major mini company.
>>
>>97670118
People vastly overestimate the danger of resin printing, because GW paypiggies endlessly seethe and lie to each other about the cheaper alternative. At the same time, they don't even think about the safety concerns for anything else they do. Imagine some fat sack of shit seething about cancerous resins and then taking a rip off his disposable vape pen.

It's never been about safety. It's never been about health risks. It's never been about how difficult it is or isn't to manage those dangers. They're just a bunch of obnoxious faggots who feel threatened by the idea that people don't think they are cool for overpaying daddy GW for shitty kits that could be produced in better quality for pennies on an obsolete resin printer that goes for 100$
>>
>>97665239
True Warhammer OGs enjoyed the bliss of lead shavings from drilling metal minis. Some gayass 'le experts say' carcinogenics won't do shit to our caligulan brains.
>>
>>97665099
>he hasn't installed a fume hood
>>
>>97673017
I can see the resin fumes have already deteriorated the part of your brain responsible for controlling aggression. Sad!
>>
>>97665099
I just run it in the garage with the door open.
>>
>>97676704
The paypig thinks he's being clever even though he can't formulate a rebuttal.
>>
>>97669444
Great War was solid but they havnt been good since The Last Stand album. That music video of some napoleonic miniatures game was really cool though. Art of War was their best album and they will never ever top it though. Shoutout to anybody that was at the House of Blues in Boston show in 2018.
>>
>>97667592
actually i just wanted to make the sabaton joke
resin printers are cool and good
>>
>>97676717
Yeah, do it in your shed or set up a grow tent on your veranda/patio or something.

Inhaling a little is probably not terrible, but running that shit right next to you in the office or the spare room and breathing it in for months on end can't be fucking good.
>>
>>97677170
Running in a spare room or office is only a problem if you don't do the grow tent or set up an extraction fan that pulls directly from the hood out the window, which is what they expect people to do anyways and why so many newer printers now ship with a panel that can be removed so an exhaust hose/fan combo can be attached.

Definitely don't run it next to your bed with the hood off, running a huge print overnight in a sealed room, but you don't have to treat a resin printer like a toxic waste dump site if you're taking all the proper safety and cleanliness precautions
>>
Not only do I run my printer in the same room as my pc, with a bathroom exhaust fan as the only ventilation, but i also periodically re distill the methanol i use to wash prints with and just leave the sludge outside in a bucket
