What do we think of K47, /tg/? Will it continue to expand?
I don't think so.It looks cool, but it's too much the way of Infinity, and not t28 or TC. >The fuck do you mean anon? The scope is all over the place (iirc, starting as an excuse to use historical mini's in ahistorical arrangements and ending in some weird ww2/scp/mecha warrior arrangement) so you can't get truly good kino designs, and it markets itself primarily as a "better than GW" wargame instead of its own thing.Which, regardless of if it has better sculpts or better mechanics, is a surefire way to get practically no interest in the actual game (because you've only vaguely hinted at it), save for malding autists who really want to stick it to GW. See Infinity or Warmahordes for reference. And Warmachine actually had cool mini's.In comparison, 'new' indie games like Turnip28 or Trench Crusade were successful because their publicity focused on their own lane, and not about how much better they were than 40k or AoS.
The minis are too expensive and are >ugly as fuck >both not weird or grounded enough And it’s generally something conceived of in like 2006 but with none of the cool factor that was present back then.
>>97672949>>97672921Oh okay well I guess that’s killed my enthusiasm
>>97675747Don't let other anon's decide what you're into anon. That is the way of the political cattle, who just think as they're told.Arrive at your own conclusions. I'm just saying what mine are.
>>97672921>it markets itself primarily as a "better than GW" wargame instead of its own thingwhere?
>>97671048It was cool. Now it isn't, becasue they cucked out and removed the Nazis and replaced them with generic Heckin' Badguy Cthulu Cultist Wizard Fascists or whatever. And to be clear, that disgusts me for two reasons: cucking out is for losers, and I want my brave Tommies to kill *Nazis* not fucking supermarket own-brand knockoffs. Also >>97672921 lol lmao rofl, good one anon. T28 and TC "successful". They're instagram trends not viable games. I travel all over for work and play at many clubs - at the ones that aren't purely historicalgrogs I've seen GW stuff, old GW stuff, sometimes some Star Wars Legion, occasionally some Battletech, Bolt Action, or Infinity, and very occasionally some niche stuff like K47, Malifaux, or people playing some unidentifiable indie guff. I have never, not once, not even a single solitary time seen anyone playing any of your faggoty sludgecore arthoe games. Never seen anyone in my metro area with millions of people in advertise looking for games either. I'm sure the poofters into that guff do occasionally pack away their Bad Dragons and venture out into the alien sunlight to play games, but the idea they're even close in number to people playing a spinoff of a longstanding WW2 game system is comedy. Also laughing uproariously at the notion T28 and TC aren't about performatively rejecting GW. Their marketing may not have focused exclusively on that(not that K47's does, which orifice you're pulling that out of I don't know), but you can smell them huffing their own farts over how much cooler and more creative and bettererer they are than GW and its community through the fucking computer screen.
>>97679575Hoop, guess someone was rejected from the discord.
