Without reservation, I am extremely passionate about the haemonculus covens as a concept. I own every single 5th ed and onwards coven model GW ever released. The only ones I haven't painted yet are the 5th ed resin haemonculus, because the one I have is damaged and in need of resculpting, and a cronos pain engine, which is still in the box. I have also spent several years (with limited success) hunting down the metal grotesques (who are essentially proto-wracks), 3rd ed urien & the haemonculi. Trust me when I say there's no point in collecting an entire coven army. It's a fun project, don't get me wrong, but GW obviously does not care for the concept and, as much as I wish I believed otherwise, I think they're going to remove them from the setting entirely very soon. I have lost all faith in the concept being done justice. Call me a doomer, a black-piller, whatever. I've got skin (well, plastic, resin, and metal) in the game, and I'm telling you not to bother. If you still want to, buy the models off of the second hand market.
