I think its very telling that we have a xeno created tech priests with the GSC guy in Necromunda, and necron touched tech priests artwork before we got a single 40k darkmech priest. GW designers have NO IDEA what to do for the dark mech aesthetic. The red robes signify tradition and conservatism which the dark mech are the opposite of, so they should have a fundamentally different look which I don't think GW is brave enough to do.An anon last thread said the sleek necron pariah look should be their look which could be cool. But I think what is holding dark mech back the most is GW own lack of creativity
I hate how blight lord termies look. I wanted to make it a project to make my own out of the new indomitus pattern ones. However the arms are all power fists in that kit. Would it be a WYSIWYG problem if they had powerfists, or if their power fists were carrying their swords or something? any other ideas? Probably a dumb Votann question, but the Einhyr Hearthguard can take a Weavefield Crest which gives: "Models in the bearer's unit have a 5+ Invulnerable Save" but they can be led by an Einhyr Champion who can take a different Weavefield Crest which gives "The bearer has a 4+ Invulnerable Save.".If I take the teleport crest on the Champion and attach him to the squad whose Hesyr has the 5+ Invuln crest, does the full squad get to deep strike with an invuln, or does the Hesyr's crest turn off? I'm assuming no it doesn't turn off, because the Kahl has rules that say "While this model is leading a unit".
