Would your character take on an apprentice or a similar follower if the opportunity came along?
>>97686614Interesting question, but fuck off Puckee.
Look what I can do!
>>97686614Apprentices are a lot of work, you basically have to count on them fucking up for at least a year before they're able to go out and independently fuck up and then you have to go figure out what the issues there were. Long term, they can be worth it if you chose carefully in terms of their character, aiming for someone who you get along well enough with to work together later. If you're trying to make an employee its better to not have an apprentice and just get better at management.
Mental illness strikes again
>>97686621This isn't even "this image was posted already", it's "this question was asked already, with this image, multiple times".It's puckee squared
All of my characters would kill spamming faggots.
>>97686884>It's puckee squaredkek
My character would teach his apprentice to kill sociopathic pucks
Is there any good site to discuss tabletop games on where the mods actually do their jobs instead of protecting a spammer?
>>97687062Unfortunately, other sites have strict moderation to the point where saying, or even implying, the wrong thing will get you perma'd with no chance for appeal.
>>97686614Yes. As a character in a 1st edition AD&D game, henchmen are an important part of the game, astins a meat shield, carrying stuff, servants, experts in skills the character lacks, as well as backup characters if the Main one dies.
>>97687081This lol/tg/ is unfortunately your best bet, rpg.net and reddit are unusable
>>97687062Other publicly accessible internet forums are in similar or worse shape nowadays. And invite-only communities have nothing to gain inviting someone from publicly accessible segments of the internet.
>>97687062there are other /tg/s but they are far slower and no one is going to direct link you.
How would you keep them from dying?
>>97686614Would your character prefer Taco Bell or Del Taco? Why for what reason in your system your setting your game your group.
>puckee thread
>>97687062There are no non-shit publicly available sites anymore. They are either totally soulless where no one is allowed to be honest unless they have the most milquetoast non controversial opinions possible, or are just a pure retard containment cube like /tg/. Everyone with a human soul is currently spread across 9 million little discord chats.
>>97686614Reconsider suicide.
>>97687062Yes, but 4chang moderation prevents me from talking about it.
>>97687062System discords, sometimes, are passable. Private discords can be better. But they don't accept randoms, of course. This board and really this entire site are cooked.
I'm in a few nice private discords for /tg/ stuff with people I met in like 2015 when the internet was fun, but I have no fucking clue how I'd find a worthwhile community to talk to if i ever developed an interest in something wildly different, I feel bad for you guys tryint to find places to talk now
Sh@rty 2 can't come soon enough
>>97686884Why do you lie? We can all look at the archive and see that this question hasn't been asked with the accompanying picture?
Taking the question seriously for a moment; yes. I had a fun time playing both a Jedi knight and her somewhat reckless padawan. Sure, talking to yourself can be difficult, but the rest of the group seemed to find their very antagonistic working relationship funny.
I once played a Royal Necromancer in a 5e campaign. A new player with an Oath of the Crown paladin thought it would be cool if he served me. He eventually switched to Oathbreaker to buff my skeletons even more. It was really fun. However when my Necromancer died he requested the paladin revive him, or at the very least continue his quest. The paladin decided not to and switched oaths after that. Not cool dude.
Shit thread start aside; what's the best dynamic for a master-apprentice duo?Basically Siblings - like Anakin and Ahsoka from Clone wars?Hate each other but have to act professional and work together?Really want to bang but won't admit it?
>>97687762>Paladin swears Oath of the Crown to nercomancer lord>becomes an Oathbreaker>nercomancer dies>Paladin is no longer upholding his Oath to the CrownWho could have forseen this?
>>97686614She's really protective about all the magic she learns so I don't see an apprentice being in the cards.

>>97687453Ah, so that's the endgame.Demoralize 4chan so everyone gives Sharty more attention.

>>97688455Never trust a p*ladin
>>97687062There is, in fact there's a place that is TWICE as good as 4chan. Double the fun, if you will. Twofold the engagement value, if I may. You just have to go look for it.
