Friday night is the best time for run a TTRPG.

Your family and non-gamer friends expect you to be available on Saturdays. On Sunday-Thursday everyone is dreading work the next day.

Furthermore, Friday games also filter out Magic players which is a win.

I'm gonna be generous here and assume you're from Adventist background.

I'm in two ccampaigns right now, one pf them biweekly on Tuesdays, the other less regular but mostly biweekly on Wednesdays. Both schedules have worked fine. Tuesday has been the regular game day, or game evening, for my main group for several years now.

I find Sunday nights to be the least intrusive when it comes to weekend plans.

Why does Friday nights filter MtG fans?

Friday Night Magic, officially supported/organized MtG meetups.

That sounds lame AF.

Tuesday: game night

Wednesday (moving to Thursday): local HEMA practice

Weekends as applicable, usually two to three times a month: LARP/Bohurt/HEMA/SCA/living history event, etc.

Unclaimed Sunday: Local SCA or Bohurt practice

I imagine not having anything going on in your life otherwise.

I, and pretty much everyone I know, work in food service. So, no, most people are working Friday and Saturday nights. My current games are Sunday and Tuesday.

Wednesday is the best day since nobody ever schedules anything on a Wednesday. Fridays and Saturdays, you always have people drop out because they are going on a weekend trip, a concert or anything. Especially bad if they have family.

I have never seen a low bodyfat bohurt guy.

Never said I was. I used to do strongman events and rugby. I probably have better cardio than you.

You might think six packs are cool, but kegs last all night.

Kek, little bit too defensive pal. I'm just joshing you haha, have fun at the renn faire mosh big guy.

I'm used to it coming from dudes that would never join the rennfair mosh pit despite talk big game about bo-staffs and katanas, force of habit.

Ask me how I know you never run anything with adults with jobs
Wednesday is the optimal day for gaming, because everyone is free and nobody is expected anywhere. Thursday is a second best.
Monday sucks, because it's regular overtime day. Tuesday usually is picking slack from Monday. The entire weekend is busy work and wildly conflicting timetables (and nobody sane is going to sacrifice family time for games, unless it's a family thing).
So you are left with Wednesday and Thursday, of which Wednesday is the more optimal, since people tend to get delegations Thursday-Friday.

t. doing this shit since '96, and average age of my group is 40+ for quite a while
