I remember playing against all the Jund faggot around 2010 and absolutely making them seethe when I constantly beat them with my bant deck, which unironically went on to win the pro tour. Forget the guy who piloted it.
>>
>>97747063
I like to sit back and prevent you from doing anything at all.
>>
>>97751067
Good for you anon. Jund usually has a 45-50% matchup against most decks since it's so value focused. Means you beat them by just being a better player. Respect.

Nah, Jund is probably one of the least luck-dependant matchups you can have in the game since most of their cards are completely interchangeable and their gameplan is "have more value then you." There is some luck like not getting Thoughtseized early on, sure, but it's much harder to get screwed by luck in Jund then in any other deck. You can basically play with any hand that has 2 lands.

Timmies are so cute! Sadly they destroyed magic.
>>
>>97755976
Synergyless pile of goodstuff is the best way to play the game and has always been. There isn't any "if I get these two cards I win" faggotry, there is no "haha let me play my entire hand and win turn 1" Storm/Sligh cancer, nor is anyone going to drag out the game to turn 40. The deck is just about doing the objectively best decision every turn, which is the most kino gameplay that there can be had in this game. It likely sucks to be a gigantic faggot who wants to ignore the battlefield and just jack yourself off with your 30 spells on the stack, but that's not my problem.

>>97747063
Draft. No netlisting the optimal cards to pick, just playing with skill and finding out through game play.

You are the best/worst player to go against
>>
>>97755976
You don't get it, cards like Liliana of the veil, Tarmo, Lightning bolt aren't turbo pushed pieces of cardboard, they are hecking wholesome well designed high IQ cards!
Unlike those nazi evil KKK mean chuddy nu-woke cards like Oko, Uro, Omnath, Phlage, Ragavan, etc...!
>>
>>97756531
Yes, of course that is why the rock in premodern is a dogshit deck and Slight (Synergy of individually dogshit cards that deal damage (and bolt).dek), Goblins (Tribal Synergy.dek) and Stiflenaught (literally combo.dek).

>inb4 b-but it was le real in my dogshit playground games (because I'm sub 90IQ)!!!
KYS lil timmy troony! You are dogshit at magic, literally NGMI go slap your energy deck or whatever new pushed shit slop replaced the old pushed midrange slop pile.

You'll likely not understand this post either, because of your incredibly low IQ, very sad, do mald and seethe cuck.

>le curve out deck

Jund was the most popular deck in modern because it's the easiest type of deck to play.
>>
>>97747063
Non-blue fish decks: Goblins, Deadguy, D&T, BW Stoneblade, Abzan Company, etc. I want to pressure my opponent from as many angles as possible.
>>97753440
This is also nice.

I fucking love this guy for commander. I have 2 different commander decks with him and don’t enjoy or play anything else

I like Urabrask, the Hidden too, anon.

I only really got into magic last year cause a friend gifted me a bunch of cards. Well, not "getting into it" as a whole, just collecting cards... is green really obvious as a noob? I just like big creature goes brrr(im really liking wurms a lot) and i like its aesthetics the most as ive always liked nature. I also like read but mostly just the goblins
Im a simple aggro dude. Plus hearing you guys talk about the "stack" or whatever you call the timing rules makes me not want to bother with it
>>
I can't afford to play MtG but Blue seems like it would be the most fun to play. I like tricks and traps.
>>
My heart will always be with Jamie Wakefield-style Stompy

Any draft deck that lets me win.
>>
>>97768114
The stack is just where a spell is after it is cast but before it's put in the battlefield. You go, say, to cast your dinosaur.
>i cast my dinosaur
You tap your mana, the spell is "in the stack" so now it can be countered, people can make plays as a response. Every player in turn order decides if they want to do something, then when everyone's finished, it resolves and goes to the battlefield. You can now do your stuff again.
>>
>>97769670
That sounds simple enough but then i see you arguing over resolution speeds and priorities during combos and like "damage goes into the stack" and, thats i why i find green most appealing i think. No big brain plays. Only big creatures

It does not! It just happens. After you decide who's blocking and who's attacking creatures just slam into each other.

Hard to pick. I'm a casual-ass timmy of the "I want to do the thing" variety. Sometimes the thing is voltron, sometimes the thing is random tribal spew, sometimes it's reanimator. I don't think "play your wincon" is a singular type of deck.
If forced to pick one above all others, I think my favorite deck archetype is Battlecruiser. I love spending turns ramping into nukes and then just dropping nukes.

Affinity Artifacts. Once had 7 creatures on the board by turn 2, since then fell in love with it. Made an Azorius version of the deck and now I abuse my friends with it, super fun.

Combat damage going to stack was an old rule that was in effect from 6th edition to 2011. Both before and after that the damage simply happens at end of combat.
