>>97753502Pioneer is dead, just like ModernLet go
>>97753532Pioneer is the only format I play on Arena, and I'm not having troubles with finding games.
>>97753532I agree but they will have to give the impression, this game is something else than Cummander and Standard is not a good example.
>>97753532>Pioneer is dead, just like ModernI fucking wish, Modern already has one Pro Tour and two Magic Spotlight events confirmed for 2026, Pioneer has nothing outside of community events (mainly run in Japan). They didn't announce the formats for the World Championship in November but I highly doubt it there's any chance for Pioneer to show up out of nowhere.
>>97753581The reason why commander is the most popular format of magic is very simple: You get to play pretty much all the cards you have lying around and it doesn't cost you $600 to make a deck that is playable. That's literally all of it.
>>97753637But why do I have to suffer commander-oriented card designs and release schedule, while not playing commander?
>>97753633It will be Pioneer anon, they will not bet a new competitive format formula. Is that or some sort of EDH competitive shit I highly doubt about just because of this >>97753581
>>97753651>Is that or some sort of EDH competitive shitbracket 2/3 event, trust
>>97753651>It will be Pioneer anon, they will not bet a new competitive format formula.I would love for that to be the case but like I said I'm very skeptical.
>>97753651Cummander can't be a competitive format because is designed for casuals and retards to socialize, every attempt at make it competitive hurts someone fees fees and destroy the whole purpose of that tabletop game disguised as MTG game.
>>97753650Because WotC is a company that needs to make a billion dollars right this fucking second. Think of the shareholders. Think of all the other divisions of Hasbro that need money to throw into a burning pit.Do you want the My Little Pony reboot to die just because children thought it sucked ass? Are you that cruel? Do you want the G.I Joe Card Game to be consigned to oblivion just because it's a terrible idea that will never make any money???? Cruel anon, cruel anon. Chris Cocks is displeased.
Does it or has it seen serious play in any format ever?I have fun with it in brawl/duel commander. People love Farewell but this is just better if you can float mana. High Tide? Azorius Control with Teferi's Protection or flickering effects?
>>97753699this, just this. enjoy seven products a year, line goes up, hype never ends, magic is for everyone but you, bigot.
>>97753702It was very powerful when it was in Standard. Threshold decks ran it because you could play it turn 7, play a land, put your 1 mana Thresholded critter into play as a devastating beater the enemy simply will not be able to efficiently counter.
>>97753461Didn't even touch it.
>>97753689>every attempt at make it competitive hurts someone fees fees>this is why i'm going to a public event specifically designed with brackets in mindwill retards learn to keep quiet due to public shaming or will they actually cry on stream for not being able to do the thing for performative notoriety/actual retardation? either way i can't wait
>>97753702Upheaval is a panic button. Should you ever fall behind for any reason it can turn any position into a 50/50 at worst and a 70/30 at best, should you have 7+ mana and be able to immediately recast a threat to give yourself a huge advantage.
>>97753702It was one of the kings of Odyssey alongside Wild Mongrel and Psychatog. Like the other anons said, it's a complete reset button that can often transition into a position of large advantage as you get to restart the game with your graveyard full, your best cards on hand and a threat on the board.
>>97753702it is in a bunch of premodern stasis lists as a 1-of
If we reprinted Psychatog into standard would it see play?
>>97753637Cool is that why I sit down and see Vivi Ornitier across the table and know if my opponent ever untaps with his 3-drop he'll win?
>>97753759Not in Standard, but in Pioneer. Standard doesn't have the madness/flashback cards to take advantage of it.
>>97753761the other anon forgot the disclaimer that edh is played with 4 people (as are many multiplayer games like smash) and the vast majority of casuals have their own group and don't actually play with randoms, much less sweats
>>97753761I dunno, that seems like an unrelated issue. Psychic Frog is not a card designed for Commander but you'll probably die if the enemy untaps with it, too.
>>97753633>Pioneer has nothing outside of community events (mainly run in Japan).hahahaha m8 Pioneer is more dead in Japan than it even is in the west. let it go.
>>97753738have seen some play 1 main 1 sideboard if you want.such is its fate.I don't know if Stasis is even a very good deck desu, I ordered both it and Stiflenaught but don't expect to have much reason to switch between them.
>>97753774MH3 was designed for Commander that's why it had 4 Commander precons and no Modern precons, and all the flipwalkers randomly had an extra color on backside.
>>97753781I mentioned Japan because Hareruya still does these:https://mtgtop8.com/event?e=80093&f=PIhttps://mtgtop8.com/event?e=71629&f=PIthey are literally the only 2 major paper events Pioneer had in the last year, everything else happened on MTGO
>>97753798MH3 didn't have a Modern precon because a Modern precon would cost you $700 dollars or be completely unplayable. And no, nobody plays Ajani in Commander. He is through and through a card designed for Modern's value shitfest environment. Nobody would even think of playing shit like Grief in Commander.
>>97753810I'm not surprised they can get 1 decent tournament a year for it because of player density but even through the language barrier Hareruya staff managed to essentially tell me "we can get every format to fire any given week... except Pioneer, that one is dead as shit"
>>97753581This will never not be funny because Commander players are the ones currently propping up the singles market and they will endlessly power-creep their decks and bling them out but still say "Oh, Commander is the casual format, we are just having fun" at the same time...Anyway, I have little hope that Strixhaven (forma de inverso) will be any good.
>>97753351I think I found Kethis' hidden hand.

>>97753863Why did WotC fill LotR with niggers? Wasn't Aragorn enough to get their point across?
>>97753877I'm not playing any format where I'm expected to shell out for Gaea's fucking Cradle or Parallax fucking Tide.
>DestinyxMTG collabSo does this mean we're getting a UB set?Destiny would have enough characters to avoid turning out like Spiderman or TMNT where they have to pad the set with a bunch of random crap like pigeons or bagels or pizzas.
>>97753886Parallax Tide is banned. Just proxy your Gaea's Cradle.
>>97753798Every Modern Horizons set gets called Commander Horizons. It just happens to rape the fuck out of Modern (or rather, rape its bloated corpse) along the way.
>>97753882If they could get away with it every Magic character would be black
>>97753892A good premodern list will still cost me thousands of dollars because of Deranged Hermit, Survival of the Fittest, Winter Orb, Natural Order, Stifle, Powder Keg, and enormous amounts of myriad cards with utterly unreasonable prices that I am expected to shell out for. Most events will allow only very limited amounts of proxies. If you fags were actually wanting "real Magic" without WotC's interference, you would just proxy everything and be done with it. >>97754193BW are currently traps because they keep hanging on to dark rit + hippie and gerrard's verdict when not only is the bw mana base not good enough too many of the top decks actively want to fill their yardthe bw control decks got a few things right by pivoting away from that, but going control isn't the way imo, but rather midrange
>>97754071One of my favorite parts of premodern is that the cool deck names are back. No one wants to play "Pernicious Deed Midrange" compared to "The Rock"
>>97754300Why is the red deck called sligh?
>>97754332Because a pro player called Paul Sligh did really well in a 1996 PTQ with it. A friend of mine actually got to take a game design course taught by Jay Schneider, the dude that invented the deck.

Premodern has a limited card pool. In fact, the current standard has almost as many cards as all Premodern sets(5400 vs. 4100). How long until Premodern is solved and there won't be any new decks?

>>97753532I only got into magic in the last few months and the local group I wandered into is a pioneer one. No idea how much there is besides this one group but they seem pretty happy showing up every friday to play it.
>>97754735Nah that's not true, if you care with any sincerity about the source material then you'll understand that Tolkien, without any racist motivations, specifically conceived his entire legendarium as a sort of post-hoc mythology for England. It's meant to be rooted in English (in the traditional stretching-back-a-millennium sense) character and ideals and perspectives, and all the major protagonists should look and feel English. Black Aragorn is as wilfully contrary to the spirit of the source material as an Arab Amaterasu or a white Buddha.

>>97756691Because it was asscancer to play against and devolved into people having to put that card into every (many) decks, tron especially abused it, it was a miserable experience.

>>97756691It's banned for being in Tron. Pauper as a format is thirsty for card draw and other stuff like Ichor Wellspring also got banned for being a bit too efficient at drawing, even though it is practically harmless in other formats.
>>97755206Would WotC even want to add this? Too many boobs and asses around and it's super bleak compared to the type of cheap, easy to consume franchises they are trying to push for crossovers.

Strixhaven/Arcavios is such an unbelievably lame plane its not even funny. There are like 3 salvagable bits on the plane itself and the whole thing is ruined by the dogshit hogwarts ripoffCan we just go do a block in Ikoria (and retcon everything we did in Ikoria last time). I want to fight monsters
>>97755212It depends. Vanilla creatures, at this point, are just boring the the very definition of draft chaff. Unless there's some really interesting non-vanilla hate cards or strategies, I'd rather just have more interesting creature effects.

Nosewater here, I have a GREAT solution for the lack of vanilla support haha! There will be a new keyword, "Vanilla" that allows creatures with abilities to count as if they have no ability! Brilliant old me! It's exactly like Devoid, which I also invented haha!
>>97756730The problem with Arcavios is that the idea of this plane where everyone is hunting for knowledge because everything got hard reset in an epic war is basically just Zendikar again and then they ignore all of it to focus on some incredibly homo ass college faggot shit like it's fucking Mean Girls with Scooby Doo bad guys.
>>97756729>There's no tamiyo, the greatest payoff is sneaky snacker and due to the lack of good fetchies not even full control decks play itHuh? What are you talking about? It's a 4-of in Faeries, Caw-Gates and the current top dog of the format, Terror. You have Ponder and Lorien Revealed to shuffle stuff away. >>97756730I just remember there's liliana for some reasons, she was sad about gideon and there's a nigger wizard
>>97756858It's even worse in Ikoria because they somehow took a story beat from Monster Hunter: Stories (a spinoff literally aimed at 8 year-olds) and somehow made it even less nuanced.I imagine this is also why the movie and TV series have indefinitely stalled, because not only is the source material total shit, but WotC is refusing to let the production team introduce any "problematic" (e.g. actual problems) or "conflicting" (e.g. a character displaying more than one personality trait) elements into the story.
>>97756858>Reminder that the entire conflict in Harry Potter all stems from racism of wizards to muggles and vice versanot really it stems from a woman date raping a guy
>>97756877The only thing that made Ikoria worthwhile was that there is a commander land that shows the plane is now absolutely raped and overrun by monsters so Kudro was 100% right
>>97756803Shit isn't an inheret part of sex, no. In the same way TMNT isn't an inherit part of MTG, even if the degenerates at WOTC reasssures you they are and they are super hecking fitting.
>>97756895That too.
>>97756877I liked the Ikoria book. They didn't do anything good with Lukka after it but he's interesting in the story itself- there is actual pathos in how he goes from the golden child of Drannith to an undesirable by nothing but happening to be born a bonder, and how his life as a Coppercoat makes him completely incapable of functioning in bonder society, so has no other option but to desperately try and beg his way back into Drannith's good graces. The issue is that for some reason there was a total disconnect between the lore team and the art team. Like 90% of the art with Lukka actively contradicts what is happening in the story. His tiger thing isn't even his friend, he didn't befriend it or anything. It killed his friends and then he spends the entire book trying and failing to get it away.
>>97756895Date raping a muggle isnt a crime but what's a crime is the dad leaving tom's mom like a nigger, fucking muggles
>>97756899Kudro literally got handed a superweapon that would PERMANENTLY solve the monster problem and he tried to destroy it, because it would compromise his power over Drannith, anon.

>>97756938>kudro's right>fuck he's a chud though>let's make him dumb for the plot>our treehugger politics must prevail, we're trying to push kinnan you know
>>97756938That was character assassination and made zero sense because Kudro was already the ruler of Drannith, there was no one introduced who even wanted to challenge him, the Ozolith was put there by some unknown foreigner to make monsters insane so no one to this day even knows what the fuck it was about, and Kudro was so dedicated to Drannith he sacrificed everything from his relationship with his daughter to his own humanity for it out of pure selflessness yet he is somehow le ebil chudler.
Retards arguing about lore from years ago? Yeah im thinking we are COOKED.
>>97757075>Kudro was already the ruler of DrannithThe other Kudro was the ruler of Drannith.>>97757111Cooked means good.
>>97757075>That was character assassinationHe was INTRODUCED doing that how can it be character assassination. The first thing that Kudro does in the story is declare that Lukka must die, when he is an utterly loyal soldier whose friends were all slaughtered by monsters who would be devastatingly effective in Drannith's hands.Kudro never actually sacrifices anything at any point. He betrays Lukka, who loves him and his city, out of pure powertripping. As far as he knew, Lukka used the Ozolith, Drannith would be safe. He didn't know about the mysterious planeswalker, and that guy didn't even do anything. He just handed Lukka the keys to the Ozolith to see what he would do and there were no side effects or betrayals. But Kudro cannot stand a city that doesn't need him, that can control the monsters and wield them for the betterment of all, because he has to be in charge. This is what he is introduced doing in the story, what he does when he sends assassins to kill Lukka even though he is completely loyal to Drannith even after being kicked in the teeth after a lifetime of faithful service, and what he does when he backstabs a Lukka who was fully intending to hand over control of the monsters to Drannith.
Kek retards.
>>97756858Actually most problems in Harry Potter stem from the fact Voldemort's mom was a rapist and had an Evil FAS baby while Tom senior was drugged with a love potion
kudro did nothing wrongmonsters lives do not matterhuman supremacy now
>>97757140What kind of idiotic cope is this? Is this what WotC actually thinks people got from the story?
>>97757149Lukka LITERALLY was pushing for human supremacy. He was going to put every monster in the plane under human control. Bonders can take monsters that would kill humans in droves and make them assets for humanity. The conflict of Ikoria isn't "monsters good, humans bad". Kudro is essentially an oil baron spreading propaganda and lies about nuclear energy, because if people actually used this devastatingly effective natural resource (bonders), they wouldn't need him and he wouldn't be able to exert total control over society.
>>97757160The opening of Sundered Bond is Lukka getting declared a criminal for no reason but being a bonder. Kudro is the one that does this. There is no "character assassination," this is Kudro's character. Bonders are a powerful natural resource. The reason they are treehuggers living in the wilds is because Drannith is wasting that resource. In the world that Lukka envisions, someone like him or Kinnan would be raised to serve Drannith. This would objectively benefit the city and many less people would have to die. But Kudro would get less control over Drannith's military in this scenario, so Kudro cannot abide this way that is better for literally everyone else.
>>97757111I agree we should be talking about lore from superior UBs like Final Fantasy instead, mtg lore sucks why do you think they're replacing it

>>97757181Has the low quality of MtG writing turned your brain into mush? No shit Kudro didn't have faith in the capabilities of bonders because they started showing up one day with no explanation and could just as easily have their powers disappear one day if it wasn't for WotC's mandatate of heaven making reader's accustomed to shit like this happening all the time. From Kudro's perspective there's no reliability in bonders with immense risk (which Lukka proved through all the problems his emerging powers caused). "Hmm yes I know we've been fighting tooth and nail against these monsters for generations, but what if we invited them into the city borders because a bunch of people with superpowers they themselves don't fully understand say they're able to control them? That's a good idea!"
>>97757181>>97757162Kudro is a basic bitch litmus test where you can only support him if you hear him saying "humanity first!!! it's them or us!" and then ignore everything he is actually doing
>>97757270>which Lukka proved through all the problems his emerging powers causedLukka's powers saved his fucking life. He was going to die against the flying tiger, and so did the rest of his team. His emerging powers were an objective benefit to him and if he had not been declared a criminal, they would have gotten the tiger for themselves. The same applies to every other bonder; the reason they aren't using their powers FOR Drannith is because Drannith doesn't want them around.>No shit Kudro didn't have faith in the capabilities of bonders because they started showing up one day with no explanation and could just as easily have their powers disappear one day if it wasn't for WotC's mandatate of heaven making reader's accustomed to shit like this happening all the time.Bonders are Ikoria's native magic, you dumbfuck. Them "disappearing" is as likely as one day aether just vanishing from Kaladesh or the leylines of Zendikar suddenly deciding to go quiet. There is no evidence they just "showed up one day" when we have bonders that are as old if not older then Kudro. It is a natural part of the plane, a natural resource that Drannith is deliberately refusing to use when it would benefit from it, purely to keep Kudro's military reign going.

>>97757378Why this company is a constant monument to failure?
>>97757418Bonders have existed before Kudro was even born. We have bonders who are 70+ years old. There is absolutely no evidence they come from the Ozolith, they have always existed in the plane. The Ozolith awakening bonders is, in the book, an unnatural occurrence the bonders explicitly remark is not normal. The bonders are a part of the plane. Kudro refuses to acknowledge this. He refuses to accept that this immensely powerful natural resource can be exploited for his city to benefit the lives of all. He had all the time in the world and means to learn this; bonders are everywhere, and they have villages and enclaves in the wilderness BECAUSE they are exiled from the city. His son-in-law just became a bonder. His son in law that trusts him utterly. He didn't HAVE to declare him a criminal or exile him, and he could have waited to even see what was going to happen. Lukka fucking hates the tiger bird and is very vocal about hating it. Nothing suggests he is innately dangerous. In fact, we KNOW bonders can stop doing bonds. They are often forced to either give up their bond or be exiled from their homes and families, this is canon. Lukka would have cheerfully given the bond up if he had been given the option. This is the opening of the book: Kudro of Drannith takes his best asset, his captain, a man who is loyal beyond question, and throws him in the garbage, and then lies to the populace of Drannith to justify it. A man who is completely blameless, who just had his friends slaughtered, is declared a criminal based on nothing but lies. To say that Kudro was fighting for anything but his own power requires you to ignore literally everything he is doing.

I'll be honest I was too sleep-deprived to remember there was a story today that's why I'm late. Anyway. SOS episode 1. https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic-story/secrets-of-strixhaven-episode-1-penmanship-practice>We open with the gang communicating via scribing boards, basically the usual 'write on one and it appears on the other' magic tool>Abigale is stoked to be able to share her poetry on the fly, Kirol draws themself lifting a building,, Abigale starts to explain what she's learning at the Forum of Amity, apparently a place where diplomats gather, which she's finding overwhelming even with her hearing aid, but also finds it fascinating, then goes "anyway, what're you all up to on your own field studies">Sanar immediately goes on a 26 page scrawl that is skipped over but we are assured is quite vivid and descriptive of his experience at Spectacle Summit, and is about to keep writing more before Tam interrupts>Tam goes "can we keep it to one page please, 30-ish pages is too much like work">Sanar asks if that's not boring, but then Kirol explains their thing, because they've been getting into Mage Tower, unsurprisingly, and their field study is the Fields of Strife, a place where some old warrior ghosts are basically stuck fighting the same battles over and over, except it's like ALL battles from history that have been fought there at once and magic doesn't really work right there, so Kirol's relishing learning about history>They go on some more, explaining how they found a spirit and fought it off with a big statue they were carrying, which seemed to work out well enough>Lluwen has thinly-veiled anxiety about everything because holy fuck this is a new plane what is he doing here, and he's getting along poorly with the Arcavios elves>His field study is to Titan's Grave, which is still upcoming and isn't detailed much
>Standard has continued to look diverse and healthy.jfc we're literally just in the post-truth age of MTG gaslighting>The speed of the format is higher than our internal target, with some decks exerting too much pressure too early in the game. Addressing this in future sets has been on Play Design's mind for a while now. HEY IDIOTHOW ABOUT YOU FIX IT NOWIN THE B&R ANNOUNCEMENTYOU KNOWTHE TIME WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FIX THINGS
>Looking a bit further back at our nonrotating formats, Modern continues to flourish. This fucking shit lmao holy fuck.
>>97759258I mean, that's on brand for Strixhaven. It was always a boring "Couldn't get / Didn't want" Harry Potter IP plane. It is made worse by the fact that modern authors have no imagination and cannot write about anything outside of their own experiences (and most writers have only had one "experience" which was going to school).
>>97759271>Sanar says the guy in charge of that trip, Professor Fel, apparently kinda sucks, which Abigale backs up with an anecdote>Fel was teaching a class she took on some poisonous flora a while back, basically gave them two cups of leaves, one of which was hemlock, and said "fuck you, figure it out, make a cup of tea with one">Abigale asked what if they got it wrong, he said "tough shit, you'll get an antidote and learn not to fuck that up again">And he continued to just kind of be a hardass throughout, so Abigale dropped that class>Anyway, Tam finally says something of note, explaining that she empathises with Lluwen, having come over from Shandalar herself, and also explains she had a run-in with Fel once, where he asked her about her ability to petrify (she doesn't have any) and then went "Well, you're no use to me, good night", and Tam found his curiosity at least somewhat interesting and suggests Lluwen goes on the trip>Lluwen then recounts his own meeting with Fel when he applied to Witherbloom where he again rather bluntly listed off what's been said about Lluwen (isolated, nobody knows what his deal is, etc.) and then stamped his form>Kirol then chimes in, saying Ajani's gonna be their advisor because they need one after seeing a spirit, for reasons, and Kirol is excited to fight some ghosts and learn stuff, but Ajani goes "I was similar when I was your age, and would be glad to teach you otherwise">They talk some more, Kirol tries to uncover some stuff about Ajani's past, Ajani asks if they know how Planeswalkers Planeswalk, and Kirol says not really, Prof Vess has been tight-lipped and Fel doesn't say much (so I guess he's Delian), and the only other ones they've met are Ajani and Oko
>>97759345>OkoHis voice still rubs me the wrong way.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8heN0kff-Hw
>go look at the story>it's formatted like AI chatbot boxes talking to each other with huge walls of text, dashes and all. these are supposed to be written by "kids writing to each other"hmmmmmmmm
>>97759405Run it through GoWinston.
>>97759345>Ajani explains that trauma is how it activates, and says he wishes many nascent Planeswalkers never spark, because they'll have a happier life>Ajani then explains it was the loss of his brother that caused it for him, which causes Kirol to feel REALLY awkward, but Kirol asks if Ajani will tell them more about his brother anyway>Anyway, back to Lluwen, who's gone (with Tam) to Titan's Grave now, and Lluwen remarks how weird it is that people find him more approachable now that they see he's friendly with somebody else>Tam has some questions for Oracle Jadzi, who's with this trip apparently, or at the Grave I'm not sure, which is why she's along>Jadzi and Fel (who is Dellian, rather), are both there, Jadzi with a friendly welcome and Dellian with a "get signed on attendance or you're losing fifty points from your grade">Lluwen asks Tam if she respects him because they're so similar, which she gives him a look over>Lluwen and Tam explore some shops around the place, but mostly find them uninteresting compared to the Grave itself>They head back to their camp, which is empty of everyone except Jadzi, Lluwen encourages Tam to ask her questions, but Tam says it'd be rude to interrupt meditation, but Jadzi just laughs and greets them>They talk for a bit about stuff, before Dellian shows up, chiding the pair for wasting Jadzi's time, but Jadzi says it's never a waste to spend time with students, which he seems to not disagree with at least>Lluwen continues, a bit later on, talking about visiting Toadstool Copse, where Dellian instructed the group to find something nobody else had seen before in the semi-restricted area>Lluwen searched until nightfall, and found a weird sort of plant-animal (the frog that was posted a bit ago)
>>97759318To be fair, modern can never even approach being balanced and they have no interest in doing so
>>97759414>Lluwen does know it's a lumaret, but this one is studying a piece of bark like it's reading something, and he has no idea what to make of that, so he tails it silently until it finds a group of other lumarets, who all sort of cheer at the arrival>Lluwen goes "oh shit these little things have communication and map-making", and immediately dashes off to Dellian about that, who goes "they don't have magic, there's no records about that, find something useful", which Lluwen notes hurts a lot to hear>Kirol's the only one still up at the time of that letter being written, who confides they ALSO had a bad time today, they met that same spirit from before, who called them a defiler then threw his spear at them>Kirol notes said spirit looks a fair bit like a family member of their's, and also was a bit afraid, so they kind of froze up, but then Ajani happened, cutting the spear then the spirit in two>Ajani then looks at Kirol, clearly feeling ashamed, but chides them to be more careful>Kirol goes "Well, we're both hurting together at least?"
Also Tam is definitely not related to Jace in ANY way, guys.

>Standard has continued to look diverse and healthy in the months since our last banned and restricted update.>Pioneer is in a unique place. By and large, red is showing up at a higher clip than desired across several different archetypes, but each of those archetypes appears at an acceptable range>Looking a bit further back at our nonrotating formats, Modern continues to flourish.>Legacy looks like it hasn't reached a solved end state, and it appears players are enjoying the journey they're on. The top of the standings at different events are distinct from one another, with different macro-archetypes and decks taking turns in the spotlight.>Vintage is more or less what we perceive as the ideal state of an Eternal format. >Overall, the format continues to look fairly healthy. As the Pauper Format Panel and I have been monitoring Pauper, it's clear that Terror has remained one of the better decks for a while, though it hasn't crossed the line to make us take action so far.

Terror barely performed in the geddon. It's a strong deck, but to single it out while affinity and chrysalis decks are also top performers is some kikery. At this point I just wish we could get rid of the sac ichor wellspring to a black draw 2 spell pattern.
