WoL_Anon's Bambi Jump posted last thread has 4,832 words or 302 a page. Mine has 3,223 or 322.3 a page, and I'm using 100CP, 300CP, 600CP Jump formatting while he's not. We have a near identical number of overall perks and items, and neither have locations. I have never been a fan of excessive flavor text, not that I'm saying WoL's has that, and I was deliberately challenging myself to only use five lines of writing per perk or item because I want people to somewhat interpret things themselves like ye old days due to the nostalgic formatting. The reason people instead make Generic Jumps is because it's easier than what I just did. I looked for a better relatively modern generic futa weg, and they're just all not finished.

"You know I'm not quite sure what to make of this."
Vaati comments looking at the snaking and twisting structure of water, stone and magic mimicking plastic
"What?" Venti asks tilting his head.
"It's just slide with water on it. The kids are having fun with it."

He looks up glancing as one of the tribes' children lets out a excited yell as the drop deposits them into the river beneath the ride in a splash.

"No I understand that part. But why are you the one watching said children. Or why you'd use resources on this."
The Hylian pauses shifting under the shade of the massive rock the pair was sitting in.

"Well their usual caretaker is busy today. She's working on a project that needs her attention. So I offered to help out."
Venti explains tucking his hands behind his head.
"It's like that old saying. It takes a village to raise a child. And sometimes for that to work you have to be a villager. As for the slide... well its danm hot. And this seemed a good way to keep them entertained. It was either this or a field trip to the Inn."

"It's creative at least."
The swordsman sighs wiping his head.
"It has been rather hot this month. That's one thing I don't quite like here. It didn't quite get this warm back in Zhiguo. Though that was further north than here."

"It does get hot in the summer here. A good chunk further south the grass ends and the Desert starts"
Venti agrees, digging into a bag and pulling out a watermelon. Slicing it up before he offers one to his companion.
"Here I brought snacks. it'll help keep you hydrated."

"Thank you."
vaati says taking a slice of melon and biting into it.
"They do look like their having fun."
The yellow eyed man comments, eyeing up the slide.

"Don't they?"
The bard beams pleased
"Always loved water slides growing up back on earth. So it's a bit nostalgic for me."

"You're earth sounds like a strange place to have frivolities like this being common."
The swordsmen comments. Nibbling on the fruit

The cultivator laughs but nods
"Ha! I guess it is. Still it's fun. You should give it a try if you want. I'm certainly going to once the kids are done later."

Vaati looks at the slide. Pausing for a long moment as if to think on something before shaking his head.
"No. I think I'm fine. I'm a bit old for such things."

"Aww your never too old to have fun!"
The bard sighs disappointed.

"It's just a bit-"
Vaati begins before a voice cuts in.

"My little songbird is right you know. Theres no shame in enjoying yourself."
A voice calls from above.
The two look up to see a certain Khan, sitting cross legged on the boulder they were sitting beneath.

"oh-Khan Minerva!"
Vaati blinks surprised. Trying to think of how to respond to the sudden presence of such a powerful figure.

"Oh hey. How long have you been there?"
Venti asks throwing a slice of watermelon towards her.

"For a hour and a half roughly."
Minerva shrugs casually, catching the fruit.
"I do hope you brought enough of that for everyone."
She jokes taking a bite of watermelon.

"Well of course I did. Who do you take me for?"
The bard grinning back. Letting Vaati catch his bearings for a moment.
"Got some for the kids, you and Vaati with some to spare."

"That's a good man."
The khan nods approvingly, looking out at the river, Vaati asks.

"Excuse me you're grace but... what exactly are you doing here?"
He asks ever so carefully. Old instincts clashing with knowledge of how different things were here.

"Well I was examining the perimeter when I saw we had a new building, thought it was a tower at first by the river."
Minerva explains her mood chipper.
"So I come a little closer to see it's not a tower at all but a ride. My favorite bard responsible with apprentice in tow."

2/5
>>
>>97758605
"I'm not his apprentice."
Vaati corrects almost automatically. His eyes widening though as he realizes who he just said that to.
He half expects to be struck down immediately for his insolence, but the Khan just chuckles and reaches down ruffling his head before sliding down to sit next to Venti.

"Sure you're not. sure, you're not."
She agrees doubt dripping in her tone as she slings a arm around Ventis shoulder.

"I'm not-"
The swordsmen begins to protest further but he's still half in shock from the fact he was still fine and the fact that perhaps being mistaken as the cultivator's apprentice wasn't the worst thing in the world really. He gives up on this particular battle, closing his mouth.
"Think what you wish."

The trio sits there for a while. To the bard it felt rather nice, a quiet moment among friends was never unwelcome.
"So you want to go down the slide?"
Venti offers looking to the Khan.

"Well it is a rather nice slide. Truly one of your better creations"
Minerva jests grinning.
"It'd be a shame to let it go unused."

The bards face lights up and he turns to vaati.
"Well at least someone appreciates my work."
"You know, I could toss him onto the slide. I've got good aim."
The gerudo suggests jokingly.

"Please don't."
Vaati shakes his head vehemently at that idea.
"Really I'm fine."

"Well if you're so sure alright."
The bard relents finally. Laying back against the rock.
"I could throw you if you want?"
Minerva offers as consolation.

"Throw me? Eh... sure why not?"
Venti nods standing up.

"Go ahead and chuck me. Just make sure I land right."
He grins holding out his arms.

"Of course."
The Khan assures grabbing him.
"You're land just fine."
She says before grabbing him by the arms and chucking him in a wide arc towards the slides top across the river.

The Gerudo and Hylian watching the bard fly right over the river... and then past the slide and towards the horizon. Carried away like a paper airplane on the wind.

"I might have forgotten to account for how floaty he is in the air."
Minerva admits after a moment of watching in silence.

"Is he... going to be okay?"
Vaati asks voice just a touch concerned.

"Probably. If he wasn't I'd be truly surprised."
She shrugs turning back to vaati.
"He'll be fine."

"I guess I'll go try to find where he lands then-"
Vaati says beginning to stand up but gets stopped by Minervas hand grabbing his shoulder and keeping him sitting.
"Actually, I think we should have a little talk you and I."

4/5
>>
>>97758605
A chill immediately runs down vaatis spine.
"A talk? What about?"
He asks quietly.

"Well. Venti's told me quite a bit about you Vaati."
The khan begins looking. Staring down at the swordsman her gaze suddenly becoming quite intense.
"He's said quite a lot of things. Has high hopes for you. You know. Likes to see the best in people."

"I'm honored."
The swordsmen mutters looking down. The Gerudo nods at this.

"I hope you mean that. But I think you do looking at you. You hardly need veiled warnings about what might happen if you go betraying my dears trust do you?"

"No. That is not necessary. Not at all"
Vaati says quietly. As the Immortals gaze seemed to bear into his soul.

"Good."
Minerva removes her hand looking at the slide for a moment engrossed in thought.
"Unlike him I do happen to know a bit about the world beyond our slice of it here. Enough to know what a Blade of Zhiguo does if not the specifics of your past."

She turns back looking at the silent vaati.
"You are welcome here. As long as you mean what you say. Hyrule is a land for second chances. More than just Venti understands this. Just ensure you're past stays in the past."

"...Understood."
Vaati whispers quietly. Tearing his gaze away from hers.

"Good, I'm glad we're on the same page."
She says as the hardness of her stare dissipates and she smiles.
"All is well on the plains today then."

It wasn't long after that venti made his way back to them.
And for Vaati even if he'd never admit it to the bard's face. It was a relief to see him.

Oh definitely. Minerva just felt it prudent to say this a bit. Shes perhaps just a bit less optimistic then venti and more experienced.

>>Venti: Does he still not understand how easy it is to read him with the Dream Eye?
>>Minerva: Let him have his privacy, even if it is only in his head. He still has yet to consciously realize why he now looks like he could be your brother.
Honestly I don't think Venti uses the dream eye on him to much. Only when needed like with the hole in his soul usually. Just to be polite and respect boundaries.

I might skip the party scene thinking on it. Though I am having thoughts with how big the world is. The days might be longer and the years as well potentially. Not sure if thats worth toying with world building wise.
>>
>>97759801
>He is the youngest out of the cast. (Though I'm not sure on the exact age yet.)
I’d guess late 20s to early 30s. Which could lead to a funny moment when Vaati discovers he’s basically a child compared to the others.

>And so one of vaatis newer fears was uncovered. Being confronted by a Hyrule cultivator that isn't venti.
Or Ritsuka.

>Oh definitely. Minerva just felt it prudent to say this a bit. Shes perhaps just a bit less optimistic then venti and more experienced.
True. With his ears having changed, Vaati couldn’t leave Hyrule either way.

>Honestly I don't think Venti uses the dream eye on him to much. Only when needed like with the hole in his soul usually. Just to be polite and respect boundaries.
True again. Though Vaati does seem like the sort of person who’s much easier to read then he thinks.

>Though I am having thoughts with how big the world is. The days might be longer and the years as well potentially. Not sure if thats worth toying with world building wise.
I thought about that as well. Not sure where to go with the length of the days, but extending the years could work. I also thought about Hylian lands having three seasons instead of four, but I’m not sure how that’d work.
>>
>>97759888
>I’d guess late 20s to early 30s. Which could lead to a funny moment when Vaati discovers he’s basically a child compared to the others.
Yeah that'd sound about right to me. Venti's probably getting close to reaching a 100 now, and midnas probably plus 100, Ritsukas similar. Minerva I see as probably being somewhere between 500 and 600.

>Or Ritsuka.
True. He's had some encounters with Ritsuka though nothing really major so far. That'll change eventually though I'm sure.

>True. With his ears having changed, Vaati couldn’t leave Hyrule either way.
Aye. His homes there now regardless. Though he does still prefer it in hyrule.

>True again. Though Vaati does seem like the sort of person who’s much easier to read then he thinks.
Oh he definitely is. He has the bad habit of underestimating the people around him a bit. Thinking he's unreadable . Though thats definitely been challenged again and again since he got here.

>Not sure where to go with the length of the days, but extending the years could work. I also thought about Hylian lands having three seasons instead of four, but I’m not sure how that’d work.

I could definitely see longer years as well. As for three seasons instead of four... I think four would be better even if three fits into the goddess theming of threes. If I did have to do that I think I'd make it Spring-Summer-Autumm and then just have Autumm loop back to spring. Avoiding a proper winter.

Also Im not sure how to work it in somehow but I got a image in my head for a interaction at some point post meeting Hylia for venti where he's getting up and ready one day.
>Venti:Wakes up
>See's a green haired girl in his mobile kitchen helping herself to his food.
Venti: So who are you?
>???: Farore, Your going to need more cereal soon.
>Venti: Oh. I'll have to pick some up. Like the oracle Farore?

>True. He's had some encounters with Ritsuka though nothing really major so far. That'll change eventually though I'm sure.
>Vaati does know how strong Ritsuka is, it’s just that it’s impossible to be intimidated by her.

>As for three seasons instead of four... I think four would be better even if three fits into the goddess theming of threes.
Yeah, it would fit the themes, but how it would manifest isn’t clear at all.

>If I did have to do that I think I'd make it Spring-Summer-Autumm and then just have Autumm loop back to spring. Avoiding a proper winter.
Either that or create new seasons, which would be a major case of reinventing the wheel.

>And then it registers a moment later.

>>
>>97760182
>>Vaati does know how strong Ritsuka is, it’s just that it’s impossible to be intimidated by her.
I could see that. She's just to friendly and upbeat to be intimidating.

>Either that or create new seasons, which would be a major case of reinventing the wheel
I'll think on it a bit, but I think four is fine for now.

>Welcome to the typical life of an immortal. The gods have trouble interacting with mortals, so they chose the next best thing.
True. And venti eventually becoming a Saint sure will speed up that process a bit. I imagine he'd interact with deities a lot earlier in his cultivation then most immortals.
>Farore: I mean it is practically his job to interact with us a bit.
>>
>>97760344
>I could see that. She's just to friendly and upbeat to be intimidating.
>Vaati: I never would have imagined it was possible to be less imposing then Venti, but she does it.

>I imagine he'd interact with deities a lot earlier in his cultivation then most immortals.
Most of the time, the gods are relaxed, carefree, and a bit quirky. Then they get serious, and for a moment Venti finds himself overawed with divine majesty.
>>
>>97760437
>Most of the time, the gods are relaxed, carefree, and a bit quirky. Then they get serious, and for a moment Venti finds himself overawed with divine majesty.

I've been thinking about that a bit. I'm toying with the idea that mortals and even a lot of younger immortals don't quite know just the full scale the gods operate on. Being entire worlds like they are incarnate a bit. Each one basically a self-contained reality. That sort of power and majesty to use a word for it. It boggles the mind. Where even a lesser God in the seventh stage stands head and shoulders above even the strongest of immortals. (Though we might see a lesser goddess sooner then you think.)

I don't think venti would ever underestimate one but he I could see him being awestruck a bit if they do get serious for some reason or another. Even if he doesn't trigger it himself.

I think a question to grapple with as a immortal for him will sorta be "What makes a God?" because its not just immortality surely in this world. And its not just immense power. He can tell that much but it'd be something to ponder a bit and other questions on divinity.
>>

I'll genuinely have to think a bit about that Out of character. Figure out whats a good satisfying answer to that aside from just the core bit of going from stage six to seven. For ventis answer and Hylias.

Next up I think I'll have vaati getting his new equipment. Get a glimpse of the inn/stable to. I think a vibe I want to go for is sort of Links equipment set in the game but magically amped up massively with a lot of magical arrays and enchantments to.

Not every setting is expansive, and I'm not going to force things that aren't justifiable. While less heard of, it is orthodox. It's also not such a powerful setting to require higher price distinction. I put a double space in-between price tiers, and I and others have done some variation of this forever. I personally believe it more readily allows you to compare the power of each origin perks and items. The crowd isn't gay, and those are the rules. At least one trainer is a Veteran and another is a Rookie, but one of those is temporary.

Just because you don't like or understand something, doesn't mean it's wrong. Again, people would rather fake a Generic Jump than do what I just did because it's easier. I'm waiting or other wegs to get finished.

In terms of absolute participation, but not the options themselves. I literally state being male is restrictive. It's just not absolute. You're still involved, you still get Seven Figures. This isn't a Queen's Blade where you don't participate at all, you're just participating in a way (You) don't like. The setting isn't for, lil' bro. That's fine. Other ones will be done.

There are foes that even a Jumper can’t compete with. I found that out. I was not ready for this Jump. I thought I was. I had my build. I had knowledge from the Crystal Millenium. I was all ready to take my primitive bronze age tribe and turn them into a global powerhouse.

At first everything went well. I mean we knew how to grow buildings from crystals that were much more durable than the wood, clay or even stone of the other civilizations. I was able to create magical girls by awakening people’s star seeds.

Science and Technology moved at a dizzying pace. The other civilizations and tribes were both in awe and afraid of us. Things looked to be going great. Then an assistant who had been about my age at the start retired and later died of old age. It’s funny you travel around a decade at a time and you get sort of connected to a place but you know all along you are going to move on. This time that didn’t happen.

(To be continued)
>>
>>97767714
My original assistant wasn’t the first I would lose to time and certainly not the last. Time, it turns out, was a brutal and cruel overlord. We researched age extension technologies as soon as we could. People in our civilization quickly became able to live double or triple the life spans of other Civilizations. The magical girls it turns out didn’t age at all. Neither did we for that matter.

It was tough to try and avoid having a magical girl ruling class. Not only were the older ones stronger than the rivals' entire armies but they didn’t age. People started to worship them as goddesses and worshiped me as well.

I didn’t like being worshiped but some of the girls did. Some came to believe they were goddesses. Nanoha had to correct a couple of girls in Nanoha fashion.

Eventually we got our space program up and running and we launched for Alpha Centauri and I bid farewell to the land I had come to know far too well. I just hoped whatever else lay in store in my chain I would not soon have to assume the mantle of leadership of a nation again.

>Any man can bear adversity. If you truly wish to test a person, give them power.
You may have had problems this time, but take heart, now you know where you need to improve for the next time. And unless you do your best to avoid it, there will be a next time.
>>
>>97767796
That's true, however I am not sure how you can judge how someone will be after a long period of time. I think in a case like what happened to my jumper you just try and find people who seem sane and responsible and hope for the best. Mistakes happen and if need be giant beams of friendship can help coarse correct someone who has gone astray.
>>
>>97767839
True. In a way, the real challenge will be for you. Going by your start date and science victory, you should be over 2000 years old by now. At this point, it’s an objective fact that you and your companions really do know better than everyone else. How you choose to behave in light of this is up to you, but there’s no denying that point.

Maybe I am weird but that is absolutely horrifying to me. The thought that if you don't know something, no one else probably knows it either is scary

Everyone is looking to you for answers and you just want to scream, look I am just here to build a harem of beautiful anime women and get some cool powers, I never asked for responsibility.
>>
>>97770547
>The thought that if you don't know something, no one else probably knows it either is scary
Understandable. Having no one you can turn to for guidance means you have no safety net.

>I never asked for responsibility.
The people who are best able to bear the responsibilities of leadership rarely do. And if you can go through 2000 years of ruling a nation, with you being worshiped as a goddess for part of it, and still remain a decent person who cares greatly for their subjects, then you’d have to search an awful lot of jumps to find a person who would be a better ruler then you.
>>
>>97767714
Oh so thats how civilization turned out for you. I was curious a bit. I'm surprised you tried to avert the whole Magical girl-goddess thing. Given God-King is a pretty notable jumper trope in general. But I appreciate the change up a bit.
I'd say you've done a good job for what you had.

>>97770547
>look I am just here to build a harem of beautiful anime women and get some cool powers, I never asked for responsibility.
Yeah responsibility can come up and snap at you quick on a chain. You look away for a moment and suddenly you have people following you if you're not careful looking up to you like a leader.
>>
>>97770755
>The people who are best able to bear the responsibilities of leadership rarely do. Yeah I do think in a way that's how it works. The people who seek power the most probably shouldn't have it. Those who find it dropped in their lap and just do their best usually do a better job.

>>97771150
This side chain was made by people giving me concepts and I chose a jump that matched them. It just so happens that a magical girl theme ran through the early part. Blame the random picker for grouping them like that I guess.

>Responsibility
Yeah I believe in any realistic chain (If those two words can even be used together). You are going to find and have things you care about and suddenly you have responsibility. My poor jumper just got saddled with it for 2000 years though. She needs a break. Maybe something with sexy aliens..
>>
>>97771799
>My poor jumper just got saddled with it for 2000 years though. She needs a break. Maybe something with sexy aliens..
Understandable. She's definitely earned a vacation at this point.
>>
Does anyone know how taming guy monsters works in the Galzoo Island jump? The jump says you can tame guy monsters but focuses exclusively on gal monsters. Understandable but guy mons seem pretty varied and maybe better for the rpg triad.

Basically, am I going to have to fuck them? Guy monsters fucked a girl to death in Evenicle and I'd rather avoid that.

>Curious about the inspirations for the companions. I spotted a ranni expy and toph and gilgamesh but not sure on others.
The jumpmaker made a list.
>Immaculate Master is an OC based on the fact that Ten has had many students, she'd be one of his earliest.
>Bonded Mate is just an advantaged Import/Creation based on the Solar/Lunar mates.
>Daughter of the Frozen Moon is a Ranni Expy.
>Heroic 'Mortal" is inspired by the Heroic Mortals Gauntlet
>Bond of Terrestrial Brotherhood is an OC group based on terrestrials' theme of working best as a team.
>Gilded Moonlit Bludgeon is based loosely on Siege from Arknights and Mordred from Fate.
>Flame of Ordered Night is loosely based on Jyrine from Elder Empire (the companion is way less of a delusional idiot)
>Golden Physique Empress is just a Solar OC who's really good at fighting, healing, and training others.
>Bountiful Earth is Toph as an Earth aspect Dragonblooded.
>Of Deepest Darkness is fully an OC, she puts the Knight in Deathknight.
>Queen of Eternity is based on Marika
>Shining Prism Spider is entirely an OC based on how much of a corrupt bureaucratic nightmare Yu Shan really is.
>Sublime Feline Trident is an OC based on anons request and an image provided of three furry catgirls.
>A Hoarder Reborn is the Age of Sorrows reincarnation of a Solar Gilgamesh
>And Epitome of Brilliance is an OC largely based on Elegant Nova of Progression in the comic itself.

>Keeping everyone together and on focus is going to be a adventure in itself. Though i imagine he'd encounter them throughout the first year rather then all at once. It'll be a fun time though.
On the plus side, with your companion list and a kingdom to provide you with resources, you’re not going to have any problems with the Infernal Coven and Great Responsibility drawbacks.
>>
>>97782619
Yeah the infernal covens going to be a recurring enemy for the Jump but manageable. The great responsibility's going to be the main "Plot" so to speak about a super weapon underneath the hundred kingdoms.

I think Jumper ends up starting in the hundred kingdoms region. Where his city state is. For some reason the old King/ruler left specific instructions of him being in the will. And he's trying to sort things out there (and not just bailing because he doesn't quite have anywhere else to go yet.) when some of the companions start to roll in for various reasons of their own.
And wanting to be a good king. It'd seem reasonable to host the glowing demigods that keep rocking up. Be on good terms, so the Kingdom becomes a sort of central quest hub.
Lots of adventures and fights with rival states nearby. Exalts who aren't so friendly and people trying to seize the sword of creation II and repair it for their own world conquest reasons.
Probably culminates in Jumper getting to the manse and getting the chance to get it operational again but it requires the sacrifice of his companions to do so. He promptly goes rejects that of course and causes it to fail permanently without taking out the Eastern half of creation with it.

“Finally after 2000 years I am free…”
I had almost forgotten I was on a chain. The last jump seemed to last for an eternity.
I was glad to be anywhere except the last jump. I found myself in a park. There was a beautiful woman crying on a park bench wearing only a bloody lab coat. This scene sparked a memory in some far off region of my mind. It told me where I was.

I was surprised that no one else had really seemed to notice the woman on the bench as I approached her. She kept muttering she was broken. Something about the scene broke my heart. The manga just couldn’t carry the impact of the despair on her face.

It was like finding a deeply depressed lost puppy. I couldn’t help but take her home with me. It wasn’t long before she was blushing and acting strangely. She seemed almost lost in a trance. I should have known what was happening but I blame over 3000 years of memories being stuffed into my head suddenly on me being slow on the uptake. She rather forcefully kissed me and suddenly wings of Ice emerged from her back and she pledged herself to me forever and ever.
That was how I met Akitsu. One in my opinion was an ill timed phone call later from some rich ceo idiot. I was officially part of the Sekirei Plan. Which I gave absolutely no fucks about but Akitsu actually seemed hyped up at the prospect of being with me forever.

(to be continued)
>>
>>97782885
We had to move because of a single school apartment shenanigans. I wound up moving into the Izumo In where Matsu wound up forcefully winging herself to me. I wound up telling the girls everything and introducing them to Nanoha, Fate and Alph. Akitsu and Matsu were very happy to meet them. Matsu actually seemed disappointed to hear they were just friends.

I tried to stay out of the Sekirie plan as much as possible. Minato arrived and I helped him as much as possible. We cured Uzume’s Ashikabi. I did Friendship beam Higa Izumi. It didn’t kill him but it sure felt good. While he didn’t become my friend, he certainly became less of a dick and tended to shy away whenever I was around. Mission accomplished. I let Musubi and Minato be the winners of the Sekirei plan because I couldn’t really manage to care enough about it at that point to compete.

After that I settled down with Akitsu and Matsu and we had almost normal lives. I had made both Magical Girls because of course I did. It was nice to just live. No expectations, no demands. It was like for the first time in over 2000 years I could breath, I could relax. I don’t know how much time I spent just snuggling with one or both of my wives. Usually it wasn’t even lewd usually (Surprisingly with Matsu involved) but I just needed to rest. By the end of the jump I felt like I had recovered from my very long time as the leader of a nation. I am not sure how much was psychic bond and how much of it was tender loving care but either way I was ready to move on.

Okay Fate is my sister, doing anything with her might be weird. Nanoha is my sister's wife. I don't know if she is in to sharing. Alph, I could kind of see but it might be a little odd. Actually with over 2000 years I can't say nothing probably happened but Matsu and Akitsu get to be my first waifus.

This one build will feed the DDAnon household for a generation.

Would've Gone Pro is intended to make you the second beat sort of career in a field, so you'd be a Nurse, not a Doctor. Overall, I would say you have a chance to win the biscuit. Your build should outperform both Jane and Riley. Riley being a kickboxer who in combat but not sex beats Jane. Just don't get grabbed by the Syrian Psychopath, the character Giant Freak is based off of.

I've finally done it. I have played all the H-games. There's none left to make Jumps for. That's a lie, I have thirty saved, and could make a Jump of at least two of them.

The perks and items are clearly there, but it's not a game you play for the story, and the power level is probably too high for me to commit. The other one doesn't give enough characters to expand off of. Don't wanna play through either again, and one I'd have to do two times.

I kind of want to make a Succubus / Agony Jump, but there's too much suffering. Why is there so much suffering in my nihilism-Hell-boobs kino? Getting stuck in Hell for 10 years with a goddess that potentially birthed God and who is a sadist seems like a bad play.

Every other game isn't finished. I don't want to rewrite Tenchi right now, or read the written material for Heroic Age so I can remake that. If I do redo Heroic Age, its power levels would invalidate a lot of Jumpchain. Of all the settings I have touched, I regret that one the most. I technically never finished it, and so I feel I'm honor-bound to do so.

Demon King can suck my dick, I will never read the over 1,000 pages needed to redo it. Blame the anime for being so divergent. I will not rewrite the whole thing to just add a toggle. Power levels are fucked, too. Arguably worse. Cursed setting, cursed Jump.

>Jumper: Well its been fun. Eventful I'm definitely happier but I don't really feel like a hero.
>Benefactor: What? Why? Your Kingdoms still standing. You redeemed a abyssal, even saved creation. What's not heroic about that?
>Jumper: I mean you did give me that kingdom... didn't you? It was awfully convenient it just fell into my lap when I arrived. And all my friends. I love them but collectively they are a unstoppable object a bit. I don't really feel like I did much myself. I never really showed any true heroism of my own. Even my own exaltation lesser as it is didn't feel quite "Earned" for lack of a better word.

Pretty simple build but a fun one. I think Jumper does end up adopting Fair eyes. she gets a very strange family by the end of the Jump. After of course making a mechanical dragon-nuke with her adopted dad. Good bonding experience that.

Not sure where to send them next. Whether another exalted jump or something different. Open to suggestions if anyone has any.

>Even my own exaltation lesser as it is didn't feel quite "Earned" for lack of a better word.
To be fair, a Dragonblooded Exaltation isn’t earned at all.

>Not sure where to send them next. Whether another exalted jump or something different. Open to suggestions if anyone has any.
Try going to Exalted Shards Heavens Reach and becoming a Solar there. You can have fun space adventures, and find an empty planet and build it up.
>>
>>97791017
>To be fair, a Dragonblooded Exaltation isn’t earned at all.
I always saw it as you had to do something heroic or at least have a certain quality to you to exalt as a dragonblood. The blood itself is just another prerequisite a bit. Just with less high standards then say a lunar or solar exaltation.

>Try going to Exalted Shards Heavens Reach and becoming a Solar there.
That could be fun. Debating whether or not to allow going into other exalt types or just mono focus on the dragonblood stuff.

>You can have fun space adventures, and find an empty planet and build it up.
Not a bad idea. The tech level would jump up a hell of a lot from that. But I'm not trying to keep things on a slow build up for this chain. Though now I'm imagining the city state becoming a literal drop colony in heavens reach. Theres also a empty planet item to use that for.

Nope, it’s all bloodlines. Doing something impressive can help trigger it, but it’s not a requirement.

>That could be fun. Debating whether or not to allow going into other exalt types or just mono focus on the dragonblood stuff.
I’d suggest spreading out. It helps that Heavens Reach is one of the better places to become a Solar, the past Solars stepped down willingly, so they’re still well thought of, and while the Central Empire will be keeping an eye on you they aren’t going to assume you’re a threat right away. Hang out in the border regions and no one will mind.

>Not a bad idea. The tech level would jump up a hell of a lot from that.
Remember that the 400 version of Artisan of Celestial Calibre makes you the equal of the person who was good enough to invent the Solar Exaltations while not being an Exalt. Take that as a Solar (I’d suggest the 200 version of Solar Exaltation) and you’ll really become a magitech master.

>Though now I'm imagining the city state becoming a literal drop colony in heavens reach. Theres also a empty planet item to use that for.
Exactly. Take the empty solar system and turn it into a thriving kingdom all your own. You felt like you didn’t really earn that kingdom in Keychain, so now’s your chance.

Huh interesting. that feels kind of underwhelming in a way. Sometimes I wonder if Dragonblooded should really be classified as exalted at all given how different they are. (This isn't a dunk on them. Their great but the way they function is pretty different.)

>I’d suggest spreading out. Fair enough. You've convinced me. Solar it is. It'll be fun to imagine Fair eyes and the groups reaction to that.
>Immaculate Master: Oh he is really going at it. Is he alright?
>Queen of eternity: You took out a cars metaphorical engine for about a decade and when you put something back in its the equivalent of a reactor. That's going to have some effects.

Well I guess I have a build in mind then. Could recreate the first age on a small scale with that.

>Exactly. Take the empty solar system and turn it into a thriving kingdom all your own. You felt like you didn’t really earn that kingdom in Keychain, so now’s your chance.
Yeah I like that idea. Puts any lingering thoughts of worthiness to rest. And just city planning and building stuff is fun. Could have it grow over the chain to. Starting as just a functional colony over a region and slowly growing to encompass more.
>>
>>97791330
they do work differently than celestial exalted, they just happen to have a very different origin, but in the setting the classification still makes perfect sense
>>
>>97791341
Eh fair enough then. I'm sure theres reasoning behind it and they were all made at the same time for the same ultimate purpose of overthrowing the primordials.
>>
>>97791420
the celestial exalted were made from the essence of gods, the dragonblooded were made from the essence of gaia who is a primordial

she's all about life so it makes sense that they just breed the exaltation rather than attain it conceptually like the conceptually-oriented god ones do

I always assumed that that was the trade off for the lesser power than Celestials. They get less raw power but can make more of themselves.

Thinking on it I wonder how hard it'd be to make a spaceship from the ground up in Heavens reach if you have the skills and knowledge for it. Considering Jumper and co getting dumped on the planet as is and having to start making stuff from scratch a bit.
Might take a bit but it'd probably be possible with a couple hundred people and exalted assistance. Especially once infrastructure gets set up.

The way they function is different because they were designed for a different purpose.

>And just city planning and building stuff is fun. Could have it grow over the chain to. Starting as just a functional colony over a region and slowly growing to encompass more.
Sounds like a good project, and one that will pay off more and more as the chain goes along. With a few more jumps under your belt, you could be fielding strike teams of Dragonblooded in powerful ships, bearing exceptional weapons and armor, insuring you only need to personally head out for exceptional threats.

Entirely doable. You’ll need to build the tools to build the tools, but Solars get charms to make that easy. Personally, I like to take the Beyond The Final Frontier drawback and put together a basic spaceship from the various pieces of wrecked machinery I find as my group travels around.

>Might take a bit but it'd probably be possible with a couple hundred people and exalted assistance.
And you got both a group of several hundred mortals and plenty of Exalted assistance from Keychain, so building up should be easy.

Hmm good question
The item is a weird meta mix of the bears self forged armor which they consider their soul and the concepts of demons, thus taking the bears literal and saying the armor IS the soul (or the physical representation). Just like the daemon for humans
In that context I'd say it's fine to treat it just like you do/can demons within the rules set in the jump.

Thematically however I have to say "vanishing" /hiding their soul armor wouldn't be something a proud warrior bear would do. Maybe that in turn would taint your warrior soul, which would be reflected in lower quality armor/dirt/chips

>The way they function is different because they were designed for a different purpose.
True. Between all the other exaltations working on a cycle of reincarnation. And the terrestials going through blood. I wonder a bit but maybe that was part of making them much more common.

>With a few more jumps under your belt, you could be fielding strike teams of Dragonblooded in powerful ships, bearing exceptional weapons and armor, insuring you only need to personally head out for exceptional threats.
That would be a rather good way to keep the planet safe when Jumpers off doing other things. And keeping it all to a planet or solar system makes it not effect other settings unless you want it to.

>Entirely doable. You’ll need to build the tools to build the tools, but Solars get charms to make that easy. Personally, I like to take the Beyond The Final Frontier drawback and put together a basic spaceship from the various pieces of wrecked machinery I find as my group travels around.
Thats a fun idea. I was thinking of treating it like going up the tech ladder yourself until you can find/make contact with the wider galaxy. Putting together a ship from pieces is a cool concept to.

>And you got both a group of several hundred mortals and plenty of Exalted assistance from Keychain, so building up should be easy.
Yeah it'll just take time and managing people. And making sure not to many of the mortals die when their setting up initial society.

>And the terrestials going through blood. I wonder a bit but maybe that was part of making them much more common
Entirely intentional. In mainline Exalted, it was 100 men and 9,900 women that became the first Dragonblooded, explicitly because they were supposed to increase their numbers as much as possible.

>That would be a rather good way to keep the planet safe when Jumpers off doing other things.
You can also have them take care of lesser threats that aren’t worth your time. And of course, you should always have a group escorting you when out and about. Dragonblooded are supersoldiers, treat them as such.

>And keeping it all to a planet or solar system makes it not effect other settings unless you want it to.
And if you ever feel that the best thing to do in a setting is to conquer the whole place (Cyberpunk 2077 would definitely get you in the mood), having a spacefairing kingdom makes it much easier.

>Yeah it'll just take time and managing people.
As a Solar, leading people and creating societies is an area you excel in.
>>
>>97793852
>You can also have them take care of lesser threats that aren’t worth your time. And of course, you should always have a group escorting you when out and about. Dragonblooded are supersoldiers, treat them as such.
True. I'll try to think up some good Dragonblooded houses that pop up after a while over the decades. (And just a good name for the planet and kingdom to.)

>And if you ever feel that the best thing to do in a setting is to conquer the whole place (Cyberpunk 2077 would definitely get you in the mood), having a spacefairing kingdom makes it much easier.
Definitely.
"We are here to save you, Please do not resist."

>As a Solar, leading people and creating societies is an area you excel in.
"I don't know what happened, I just kind of got hyper fixated for a while. Wanting to make sure everyone was okay and when I step back its this."

I wonder a bit about the companions. They might wish to set up their own kingdoms. At least for some of the more ambitious sorts like other solars like the Queen of eternity or a Hoarder reborn. (Names pending.)
Wondering how to handle that if maybe the planet should just get a couple of different kingdoms scattered about it. All allied of course but with a different solar. Given we saw Queen merula try to rule over everything and that sure didn't work out great.
>>
>>97793939
>True. I'll try to think up some good Dragonblooded houses that pop up after a while over the decades.
The one Dragonblooded house idea I remember from my First Age ideas is House Gonel (the name comes from Princess the Hopeful), a house that specializes in construction. If you need a manse built, or a city, or a space elevator, they’re ready and eager.

>"We are here to save you, Please do not resist."
>”I am taking over this world for your benefit.”
>”What, you think we can’t take care of ourselves?”
>”The state of the world certainly suggests that, yes.”

>"I don't know what happened, I just kind of got hyper fixated for a while. Wanting to make sure everyone was okay and when I step back its this."
Another reason you should let the Dragonblooded do most of the fighting, as a Solar you can make very good charms for making societies you rule better in every way, so you should focus your Essence on that.

>Wondering how to handle that if maybe the planet should just get a couple of different kingdoms scattered about it.
Nah, if they want their own lands they should buy a solar system of their own.

>Given we saw Queen merula try to rule over everything and that sure didn't work out great.
To be fair, things might have worked better if the Great Curse hadn’t been making all the Exalts go crazy.
>>
>>97794031
>The one Dragonblooded house idea I remember from my First Age ideas is House Gonel (the name comes from Princess the Hopeful), a house that specializes in construction. If you need a manse built, or a city, or a space elevator, they’re ready and eager.
Oh thats not a bad idea. Them specializing in construction makes me think their primarily earth castes. Would definitely be vital on a planet thats untouched aside from the kingdom.

>Nah, if they want their own lands they should buy a solar system of their own.
I mean that is a possibility. I wasn't able to afford a build for every companion. But I was able to get five of em. Some of them could definitely get solar systems nearby if I wanted to do that.

>To be fair, things might have worked better if the Great Curse hadn’t been making all the Exalts go crazy.
Maybe. I always figured the whole strife between solars started earlier before the curse started to sink in. There all solars after all. Leaders and rulers above all others. It'd make sense to me they wouldn't like anyone above them. But maybe the gang can work something out.
>>
>>97794169

>Them specializing in construction makes me think their primarily earth castes.
In my case, they could be any Aspect. One of the rules I had for the various Dragonblooded houses was if you weren’t a good fit for your house, you can transfer to another one.

>I mean that is a possibility. I wasn't able to afford a build for every companion. But I was able to get five of em. Some of them could definitely get solar systems nearby if I wanted to do that.
What would be best is for everyone to stick together at first and use all your talents and charms to build up your kingdom, then once you’re established you can get the others properly equipped and send them out. That way, you can get going faster and they don’t have to build up from nothing when they go to their worlds.

>But maybe the gang can work something out.
The Heavens Reach Solars managed it in the past, so I’m sure you can figure things out.
>>
>>97794239
>You might find some extra inspiration from the P:tH Court I got the name from. Go here, scroll down to the Road Of Dawn PDF, and go to page 14.
Ah thank you!

>In my case, they could be any Aspect. One of the rules I had for the various Dragonblooded houses was if you weren’t a good fit for your house, you can transfer to another one.
Makes sense. No need to be so strict like they are in creation with sticking to a house given their nowhere near as competitive.

>What would be best is for everyone to stick together at first and use all your talents and charms to build up your kingdom, then once you’re established you can get the others properly equipped and send them out. That way, you can get going faster and they don’t have to build up from nothing when they go to their worlds.
I was thinking the same thing honestly. They'd still start on the same world. But maybe I'll just do a single star system in general more then one might be a bit excessive when I think about it.

>The Heavens Reach Solars managed it in the past, so I’m sure you can figure things out.
True. It's probably possible at least. And the total amount of solars and lunars is much smaller so their be easier to manage.
>>
>>97794324
>Makes sense. No need to be so strict like they are in creation with sticking to a house given their nowhere near as competitive.
Yeah, the idea is the houses are more focused on the role the play then being built around a family. So you could have a house that focuses on space combat, one that’s all about exploration, one that does science, and so on. And because you’re not locked to the house you’re born in, you don’t have to worry about internal strife from Dragonblooded who don’t fit into a house.

>True. It's probably possible at least. And the total amount of solars and lunars is much smaller so their be easier to manage.
Yeah, it’d take a few jumps, but you should all be able to find a way to come together to form a unified government.

>Benefactor: So. Do you feel any more heroic?
>Jumper: Well.. Yes. Is that odd to say? Sure, I have no kingdom in this creation, but I helped save Gem from a giant monster. With my own hands and work. Raised a child being hunted by the realm, overthrew the corrupt slavers of gem and brought at least a basic level of magitech to the city. I feel... accomplished.
>Benefactor: That's good! It was entertaining to watch to! Me and you're companions certainly thought so.

I’m imagining your jumper as having been unimposing in the last two jumps, but starting here they look more impressive and act more confidently.
>>
>>97795192
>I’m imagining your jumper as having been unimposing in the last two jumps but starting here they look more impressive and act more confidently.
I was thinking the same. The last Jump did a lot to build his confidence up even if its just mannerisms and demeanor. He has more experience on his part on his own and what he can do himself without having to rely on others. I also like to think he metaphorically earns that exaltation next jump with his actions in mortals. Even if it's not a direct correlation like normally in exalted.
He knows he can do this by the time heavens reach starts. It's just a matter of doing it good enough for the people around him to rely on.

>Pic
Thats a good image I think for him. Just maybe slap a shirt of some kind on him.

>He knows he can do this by the time heavens reach starts. It's just a matter of doing it good enough for the people around him to rely on.
I expect you’ll succeed (as I said, Solars excel at this), which in turn will help you feel more comfortable and confident in the role of a king.

>Thats a good image I think for him. Just maybe slap a shirt of some kind on him.
Solars don’t always use Egyptian aesthetics, but it’s a very fitting look for them. Also while I was finding that picture I saw this one, which makes me think you should take Gilded Moonlit Bludgeon or Golden Physique Empress (or both) as your wife in this jump.
>>
>>97795383
>I expect you’ll succeed (as I said, Solars excel at this), which in turn will help you feel more comfortable and confident in the role of a king.
Yeah I don't expect any massive challenges. Maybe a lot of smaller ones that come with living on a alien world with minimal tech at first. But it can all be overcome with some ingenuity and hard work.
The Jumps more almost a break I think. A construction project then something meant to push Jumper specifically. (That was last Jump.)

>Solars don’t always use Egyptian aesthetics, but it’s a very fitting look for them
It definitely is. I like it as well.

>Also while I was finding that picture I saw this one, which makes me think you should take Gilded Moonlit Bludgeon or Golden Physique Empress (or both) as your wife in this jump.
Funnily enough I was thinking Gilded moonlit bludgeon would be one of the companions Jumpers closer to at the moment. Bonding with her a bit with the whole inferiority issues thing he probably related to that a bit in keys of creation. So I can see that happening. (Maybe she'll be one of the builds in heavens reach who get a solar exaltation to.)

As for golden Physique empress... It's not impossible. They have known each other for ten plus years. And jumpers still going to be pretty supportive of all his companions. So things might spark off in the right situation.

The challenge of this jump is to see how great of a kingdom you can build, and that sounds like a challenge you’d be downright eager for.

>Bonding with her a bit with the whole inferiority issues thing he probably related to that a bit in keys of creation. So I can see that happening.
Makes sense.

>As for golden Physique empress... It's not impossible. They have known each other for ten plus years. And jumpers still going to be pretty supportive of all his companions. So things might spark off in the right situation.
I can see that. And since Gilded Moonlit Bludgeon and Golden Physique Empress come from Creation and you lived there for 20 years, you marrying both would be perfectly normal to the three of you.
>>
>>97795557
>The challenge of this jump is to see how great of a kingdom you can build, and that sounds like a challenge you’d be downright eager for.
I didn't see it that way but... I honestly can see taking that attitude. Make something as great as I possibly can for its own sake and for other peoples.
Jumper: They say back home utopia is unobtainable. I aim to test that theory.

>>97795557

I kinda like it when Companions have some plot hook or potential arc baked into them. Helps give ideas for how to help or interact with them at first.

After having spent my time with my new wives in relative peace I was ready to return to adventure. I wound up a science officer on the famed Starshit Enterprise under the command of James T. Kirk.

I actually served under Dr. McCoy. He could be a bit grouchy at times but I couldn’t help but respect him.

My wives and the rest of my family didn’t have any position in the ship but thankfully I was able to arrange for their travel with the ship with minimal fuss. Constitution class ships are cool like that.

I could go on about the various missions I went on, it actually took me a while to be able to go on any away missions as I was very low rank but promotions came, and so did my opportunity to explore. I made sure as hell during those times I was not wearing a red shirt.

The cool thing though was I got to show my family the stars. They got to meet aliens (Well other aliens for my wives), they got to walk on alien worlds. Work was well… work I did my job the best of my ability and was very good at it actually. They actually kept wanting to promote me off the ship and make me the chief medical officer of another ship but I liked the enterprise. However the real joy of the trip was the time I spent with my family.

It was strange to be in a jump and not make a ton of magical girls to friendship beam stuff but it was also kind of nice not to have to do that.

Ironic, as your picture shows a red and black outfit suits you.

True but as a jumper with such knowledge you avoid the death flags even if you could rock the uniform.

You can always wear it in future jumps.

Will you ever make a non-troon chain?

Dude, if you're going to be needlessly antagonistic, could you at least drop the flavour of the month decaff twitter slur and use an actual one?

>Starshit Enterprise
Freudian slip?

Yeah, it wasn't intentional. I complained enough about it though. I mean I feel bad though for anyone who truly likes the old Star Trek and to use it in their chain is forced to use that jump.

Standards evolve overtime. Most early Jumps are shallow. Isn't Star Trek like pre-Thread #100?
