>>97722115Hey anon, did you make this yourself? I like the style.
Palladium News:>New KS for Savage Rifts Phase World:>https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/star-anvil-studios/savage-phaseworld>Legion of Myth:>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24xmK-NUmlA>Worlds of Palladium exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum:>https://www.detroithistorical.org/exhibitions/worlds-palladium
>>97756833>New KS for Savage Rifts Phase World:Fucking gross>>Worlds of Palladium exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum:Its pretty cool, would suggest
>>97757300lol I honestly feel bad for the Savage Worlds guy because in all the interviews I've watched he seems like a decent dude, but man I don't care for Savage Rifts
>>97756833I wonder if there is a plaque saying that Detroit is the greatest power on the planet.
>>97759715He was going to live in Thailand before this whole Palladium thing so I hate him anyway. I dont like expats. I think they still want the benefits of being a US citizen but want to live where in places where their dollar is stronger but not yet ruined from them participating in their government.
Nuke the leylines
>>97755837Nah, I genned it. I used a lora that's about bio-punk and cyberpunk. I'm also the slopper that does the tokens.
>>97755837https://civitai.com/models/1288162/bio-divisionI probably should link it. I've been using it to try and make splicers art.
>>97760956That'll just make them stronger!
>>97762276As a caster im pro nuking them
>>97761090>>97761133Nice, thanks for the link, anon!
>>97760956They call that a Kansas weiner sizzler!
>>97765384So that's what that means! I called the number on the stall advertising that but the dude who picked up was talking about something different.
Are there angels in Rifts like there are demons and devils?
>>97766684That's a Missouri Missile Cutter. It still involves hitting your crotch with cosmic energies but everyone gathers around you behind the 7-11 and claps afterward.
>>97755809I'm looking to run a sci-fi pulp game on a knockoff hive world that is in a steady decline towards post-apocalyptia and anarchy. I want it to be lethal but not grubby Dark Heresy 'you suck woodchuck assholes' weak player experience. I'm also partial to systems where it's easy to stand up an encounter and easy to modify shit. Is RIFTS a good fit for this? I've had it recommended before.
>>97768765>easy to stand up an encounter and easy to modify shit. Is RIFTS a good fit for this? No, Rifts is not good for this, unless you use an AI chatbot to generate all the stats for you. It has a lot of stats and a very crunchy combat system. You can start very powerful, however, as most classes are front-loaded with lots of abilities.
Did that one anon ever get the chance to post the print friendly cheat sheet for rifts/TMNT combat?
>>97767643Good question, yes there is but Kevin insists on not giving them stats or names. He has the general catagorey of "gods of light" being all good gods but stats out some of the Egyptian pantheon. He explains it a few times in the books he does that because respect to Christians but personally I think its only because he has an Aunt or something that would beat him with a large iron bound Bible. He does outline how to have them in terms of making deals or getting bennies:>Entities of light (angels and BigJ) only make pacts limited to specific objectives and never just to make people stronger. Ie, "Kill this demon specifically" or "rescue these people." They can give magic items but like the parts they will take them back immediately when the job is done. They take a very hands off, things will work out in their own approach to world's in general. So, no. Angels exist but Kevin intentionally leaves them vague compared to demons.
Can d-bees become cyber-knights or only humans?
>>97770910You can image to text it. Five minutes of editing and you're all good.
>>97776413This is based on my older version of Rifts; I'm uncertain how this is reflected in the Ultimate Edition.Cyberknight is an OCC (occupational character class), not a PCC (psychic character class) or RCC (racial character class); therefore, as long as the D-Bee doesn't have isn't tied to specific RCCs, you should be able to use that dimensional being and build a Cyberknight.
How' After The Bomb?
>>97770910Here's a PDF you can copy from, enjoy:https://files.catbox.moe/bo4d10.pdf
There's something to Rifts B&W art that can't be replicated in color.
>>97779892
>>97779900Especially the Long stuff.
>>97772301This is really false and kevin has never said no to angel stats. Please post him saying no in context. Here are the stats for angels, why lie?
>>97780886Huh, intredasting. Which book is this from? NTA but maybe he didn't read it (I sure never did)? Have there ever been any angelic incursions into Rifts Earth or any of the Three Galaxies the way there are constant demonic incursions?
>>97780934Its from dragons and gods, which is a fantastic book everyone should buy it.Yhe angels are just used basic as summons for good gods and hugh level dragons and wizards.I cant recall an incursion or liberation of an area by angels specifically
>>97778433Are you asking whether it's a good game? Yeah, it's great. Takes the detailed TMNT martial arts mutant animal fighting game and adds a cool post-apocalyptic setting to it. The bad guys are The Empire of Humanity and the good guys are a coalition of ragtag mutant animals trying to re-create American democracy in the wasteland. It's awesome fun.
>>97776413In RUE it says there are no racial requirements. I think in Phaseworld they mention Cyber Knights a lot so its an space OCC as well. Glitterboys are mentioned as well but they say there that its glitterboys from earth out on a space adventure.
>>97780886From old forum posts, mostly. I suppose it was just about having Jesus and christianity in Rifts.
>>97778433Some people swear by it and supposedly its getting more popular. I can never get into a game but as I understand its not a guns galore setting like Heroes or Rifts.
>>97783278IIRC, Mutants in Orbit explains why rockets cannot enter orbit or leave orbit and have stats for Glitter Boy variants that can maneuver in space.
>>97785103I wonder what will happen to Mutants in Orbit when Sean cuts up all the properties and sells them off.
>>97786018I doubt Sean would do that. He's revitalized Palladium and it's making money on many lines now, like TMNT, Savage Rifts, and the deluxe book reissues. Maybe they'll even get the Robotech license back and do new RPG books for it.
>>97755809Was thinking about maybe running a rifts solo game using the Everywhen system....
>>97787303Do you have some random tables for encounters, treasure, monster tactics, etc.? I can share a few if anons want.
I want to check Rifts modules. What are the standard recs/your personal faves?
>>97789336That's the thing... Rifts doesn't really have any "standard modules" or adventures that are popular common experiences in the community. It's a hodgepodge of old mini-adventures and rare adventures from The Rifter magazine and very short Hook-Line-Sinker adventure ideas from various supplements. Palladium doesn't really print regular, big adventures like D&D does. I guess the closest thing would be the stock sample adventure in Sourcebook One called The Face of Evil.
>>97789336In the back of mercenaries, and juicer uprising there are 2 of the few "modules"You will need to fill alot in
>>97789336I dont think Ive ever played a module. What is it like, anyway?
>>97787416Would be nice, thanks.>>97789336I read through what I think was the first one. Underground AI research lab with terminators. was neat.
>>97786536Then why is he taking the splurgoth out of savage phaseworld as well as anything connecting phaseworld to rifts?
>>97789336Ive read seven years on cerepberus and I am legion and I didnt really like their formats, and those are the only modules I've read unless you could the Adventure Quest board game.
>>97789336There's an adventure series from the Rifter called The Fall of NORAD and Return to NORAD. Not technically for Rifts but Chaos Earth rather, but still a good one. Here are the PDFs, since we can't upload them here any more. https://litter.catbox.moe/l1xt4ic6i875da0f.pdfhttps://litter.catbox.moe/syhfuyqo8ggh5648.pdf
>>97789510I wasn't thinking about forever campagins. One shots or setting, even magazine sections are fine.>>97790082I don't mind as long as that's the intended way to run them. I haven't played before so I want to try to get close to the "proper" way.>>97791235In Rifts? No clue, that's why I ask.I used module as a catch all for one shots or settings or whatever pre-writen stuff people use.>>97791241Cool, I'll check it. Is it stand alone or in a particular book?
>>97791251I'll check them in case our tastes don't match, but it happens. I like Delta Green but I can't run their modules, they feel like a novel you read and then make a game about it.>>97791254Cool! Thanks!
>>97791637>Cool, I'll check it. Is it stand alone or in a particular book?trying to search via the bits of memory I have, I think its rifts sourcebook 01, OP's image I believe is the tittlepage. Its a combination of a source book on North America's Coalition areas and at the end a stand alone adventure which is on like page 60. think there is a pdf of it online you can find by just searching for it on google. Skimming through it now, Really like the illustrations in it. Has a super cool bold attitude that is hard to find nowadays without it feeling manufactured.
>>97791245Savage rifts is likely choosing to take them out because of all the slavery, the fact that a solid 1/5 of the 3 galaxies is controlled by the spligorths. And if slavery has the possibility of owning the cosmic forge they dont want to entertain it.I dont think thats sean doing it more its likely Sean Patrick Fannon, the savage rifts main author not Sean Roberson, the palladium books guy.Them both being sean makes ita confusing. But Roberson doesnt seem to be extremely woke
>>97793333An image from the book. Think also >>97789510is from it.
>>97793509fuck forgot to post. For some reason on my laptop it doesnt allow me to post images in incognito, but on my desktop it does.
>>97793361I suspect you're right. Roberson isn't woke but Fannon sure is.
>>97793333Nice quads. Here's Sourcebook One with the adventure and it's also a sourcebook for robotics and AI. Don't read the GM section if you're a player, it has major spoilers for the Rifts metaplot. https://files.catbox.moe/zzwg0g.pdf
Are the Naruni really Tau space jews?
>>97759552BASED leyline walker
>>97793539I figured something had to be rotten in denmark for savage rifts to be so lame while Roberson seems pretty chill
>>97794733They are definitely space jews, nothing tau about them though. They are pure capitalism, demon worship, slavery, and violence.Like lord of war meets, jews, meets bateman+ they are demons
>>97795950so glad the deadboys roast those fuckers whenever they get the chancesome dbee asshole was shooting one of those naruni plasma guns around in the burbs the other day, roasted a pile of people before the deadheads wasted him
>>97796573The CS are and always have been the heroes of humanity
>>97794733They do not subscribe to socialist government systems like the tau nor any of that life being priceless, thats for certain.
>>97779910The best artist of all time in my view. Shameful we don't have more work from him.Long is Rifts!
>>97798035yeah long and breaux are my two favorites, the phase world art is the best for like the first 3 books of phase world im entranced i love who ever is this squigily line also whats the artist name...i can decifier that shit
The art in Palladium books has always been incredibly interesting and inspiring. Like, just looking at the art gives me adventure ideas and makes me want to play.

>>97793539Fannon is hardly woke. He very nearly got cancelled when some SA allegations were leveled at him. https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?threads/sean-patrick-fannon-called-out-for-multiple-cases-of-sexual-harrassment.827712/Note he replied himself on the first page of this mess, but most of his receipts got redacted by a mod.He was removed as the lead on the Savge Rifts line (the SWADE reboot, specifically), but he may have quietly been drawn back in after the success of Prowlers and Paragons UE.His business partners stuck by him through everything. The authors on the latest Savage Rifts project, Europa, were Aaron Burkett, PK Levine, John Stevens, Sean Owen Roberson, Johnny Roccia, & Patrick Young. Make of that what you will.BTW, Savage Phase world is being handled by Star Anvil Studios, the crew behind Starbreaker - Saints & Synners and The Secret World for Savage Worlds, so different crew altogether.
