Since becoming a Chaos leader, has Huron Blackheart and his corsairs ever suffered a major defeat? I’ve been watching some in-depth YouTube videos about him and his warband, and he’s starting to come across as a bit of a Mary Sue who can overcome any challenge. Has he ever seriously overstepped and gotten soundly beaten for doing something he shouldn’t have? He’s starting to seem more unbeatable than even Ezekiel in single combat.
I think he avoids the definition by his first appearance in the Badab war, ending in his absolute defeat, and permanent maiming.
>>97759719See this.
>>97759719he got wrecked by typhus and fought the white scars and lost
>>97759835Aren't all of his "victories" the result of some female OC Donut Steel now too?
>>97759719No don't worry anon, they made sure he's not a Sue by attributing all his success to his two new girlboss companions, one of whom handles all the naval victories and the other of whom is the REAL reason people fear him.
>>97759719This got chaosfags in GW that hard meltdown, that they make yriel and eldar corsairs a massive jobbers in maelstorm campaign
Badab war is bascially just a mini Horus Heresy
>>97761511>Void DragonsUhhhhhh... do they know the significance of that name? Deliberately baiting the 'crons?
>>97761262Did they really do this?
>>97761511But Yriel won again in maelstrom
>>97761262Wow good thing I don't read new lore at all.
>>97761813Losing dragonship, some ships in 2nd fleet and entire elite bodyguard team against "dozens of brave space marines (chaos)" is not a win. Lets be real that is completely jobbing, even for eldar standarts
>nu40k "plotlines"How about you all die
>>97759719>I’ve been watching some in-depth YouTube videos about him
>>97759719Villains in 40k can never be Mary Sues as they will always lose, except maybe in some End Times-like event which everyone will hate. Despite the tagline being grim dark, the heroes are always still heroic and always win.
>>97759719Yea
It's kinda ridiculous that Huron and the Red Corsairs have only been around for a few centuries, at most, and yet they're somehow pre-Heresy Legion sized.
>>97762330what is their size?
>>97762079>Tricked Huron for 2nd time already>Successfully assaulted his supposedly unbreachable stronghold, the very center of his realm>Fully succeed at his goal of freeing prisoners and getting mcguffin>Huron was left embarrassed and seethingSounds like complete win to me. Yriel vs Huron 2-0. They just made Yriel lose 1 ship out of thousands so Huron doesn't look like a complete failure
wew
>>97762330I miss the days when factions and conflicts were allowed to be local affairs instead of absolutely everyone being galactic-level players.
>>97762398>yet they're somehow pre-Heresy Legion sized.>what is their size?Retard-sama...
>>97762398According to the new Maelstrom supplement there's tens of thousands of them and they rival the size of Black Legion
>>97762427Correction. The Crimson Eyrie is one of his strongholds. He alternates between numerous strongholds so that if worse comes to worst, he wouldn't be cornered like a rat. New Badab is the largest one.
>>97764012Bullshit. I recall it saying the opposite.Do you have a page?
>>97764106 Hold the elf managed to defeat not his main strongest stronghold but one of the other I'm not keeping one main super I said but other confident ones strongholds? That's probably one of several second year strongest to New Badab His number one best stronghold? Not the person you were talking to but just wanted to clarify if it sounds weird I have asperger's.
>>97759719>I’ve been watching some in-depth YouTube videosthis is why civilisation is dying
>>97759719Even a trash tier warband of loser reject Night Lords clowned on Huron. He's king jobber.
