A lot of flat open space though, so you'll want to either get really good at doing gradients, pick a color for the panel edges that pops, or plan to put some kind of pattern or spiky runes on it. Looks good even in solid colors though as a stealth bomber. Decide whether you want to tint the glass or try to paint the pilots early on though. And it's got a massive empty base so come up with something fun to put there.

I bet you there's been a lot of turn over over the last 10000 years, and probably less than half of all chapters that have ever existed still do. I bet stuff like war of the false primarch and badab war aren't so terribly uncommon. We know of at least a good 20-30 full chapters that have gone rouge, and 10 millenia is a very long time.A big chunk of chapters have probably also lost a strike cruiser in a "warp accident" they try to keep hush and hush and a company with it. I'd guess as much as 20% of old chapters have at least had a captain try to pull some sons of medusa type shit, be lost on crusade for so long they lose touch with the chapter, join with a questionable ally over honor bonds, ect. If you take dark imperium lore seriously, probably basically every chapter on the dark side of the galaxy has lost a chunk of their men to renegadehood.

A tight color pallete also helps. It's a fine line to walk between grim and grimslop though, just dipping your model in streaking grime does not look good. Don't be afraid of high contrast or high luminosity.Artofduane is a really good painter with some great orks you can look at. He uses a more understated dark green for the skin, but still pretty vibrant, and bright colors mixed with dirty metal and tons of weathering for the war gear. Looks great imo for more grim orks.
