This is the Planescape I made in 2016. It's set in 1973, just after the Yom Kippur War.The Declaration of Independence in 1776 was what really got the ball rolling. The creation of the greatest and most powerful nation in history sent shockwaves throughout the entire multiverse. It single-handedly created the Division Interference in the Astral Division, the timeline.The core premise is that in 1814, Napoleon Dynamite rediscovered the multiverse. He led the French army into Hyperborea and quickly conquered it. Then he declared himself God-Emperor of Mankind. He's still alive.The biggest thing that happened since then was the accidental killing of God. Back during the Yom Kippur War, the USAF spotted an unidentified flying object while transporting goods to Israel. A jet shot it down. It turned out to be God. That's how God died during the Yom Kippur War. America was what shook the entire timeline of the multiverse, and what killed God with a single fighter jet, by accident. It's poetic.Everything is okay now, but doom is coming in the timeline, the Aether Division. The USSR will survive until 1994 because of a Butterfly Effect caused by Big Boss and Venom Snake. When the year 1994 comes around, the Gap happens.

Forensic investigation of the trajectory of literally god would be an all consuming priority of every standing nation unless religion somehow collapsed even though some short Frenchman declared himself to be God. I get that you're trying to shotgun everything interesting about your Setting as quickly as possible but it'd be more interesting to write it from one POV. Is this Dynamite character similar to our Napoleon, and if he is why did he suddenly start calling himself god after what, defeating the Nephilim? Do the French care that they found the real God, what has metal gear, and the USSR got to do with this did this how is there even a USSR in this timeline did this god empower get wrecked in another war, or something?You've got way too much going on for an alt history setting that's not super well thought out. Drill down on one interesting thing for your setting, less is more when it comes to major world altering events.
