I actually made a Half-Eldar character, still have her model too.Her mother was a Rogue Trader who seduced a Corsair Prince (he went along with it because he was bored) trying to get a personal pet psyker, with the added 'exotic' factor of it being half-xenos to one-up her competition.She didn't account for a Half-Eldar still taking longer than a Human child to grow, and by the time the hybrid was of age to start showing potential the RT had moved on to other projects and tossed the girl aside as the lesser of several heirs.Queue an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor investigating the RT and finding out about the child before strong-arming the RT into handing her over. Inquisitor then used the half-breeds psychic gifts to find heretic cults and increase his own standing, while keeping the hybrid in secrecy and subjecting her to psychological conditioning to loathe herself.Eventually his aims got a bit too high and he started trying to fabricate evidence of heresy in his fellow inquisitors, leading to the hybrid contacting a Lord Inquisitor as she felt her 'master' slipping into heresy himself.Lord Inquisitor showed up, smashed the renegade, and took the hybrid on in his personal retinue.
